idk if anyone will relate to this but does anyone else who's nd feel. Strange. this is such a vent but I also wish I was an animal because being an adult human is so STRESSFUL. wolves don't have credit scores. I wouldn't even have to worry about housing because the whole forest would be my home and I would know exactly how to feed myself without capitalism getting in the way

Exciting news!

Hello, alterhuman community! I'm Bau and I'm a therian & otherkin musician - I use music to express my innermost feelings, from species dysphoria/euphoria to echoes of dream shifts I've had.

On Monday, August 26th from 9-11 AM EST, 3 tracks from my upcoming album Starlight Telepath will be recorded by Soundsgate Orchestra in Prague, Czechia. This will be the first time a therian/otherkin musician will have recorded with an orchestra (as far as I know), and the whole recording session will be filmed and streamed live on Twitch. The stream will start 2 hours prior - it'll go something like this:

7-8:30 AM - Pre-session warmup 8:30-9 AM - Sound check 9-11 AM - Recording session

Niche recommendation but cosmo sheldrake has some excellent music, especially for bird therian -they have a whole album themed around birds!

Plus his music samples different “natural” sounds like the sound of meat ripping (for my canine therians) and real bird calls, reading about his creative process is fascinating 

Yaelokre is good, but AURORA and Of Monster and Men will always be THE No.1 artists associated to alterhumanity.

being an alterhuman in adulthood is awesome, actually.

Finding out you're some flavor of nonhuman in your 20s, 30s, 40s, etc is awesome, finding that piece of yourself is awesome and is worthy of celebration, not shame.

Having feelings of nonhumanity persist from childhood to adulthood isn't something to be ashamed of, it's merely a part of you and your identity and deserves respect and acceptance.

Being otherkin isn't something that should be frowned upon, not at any age. Even as it's branded as some teenage fad, adult otherkin, therians, etc exist and have always existed.
