Don logs onto his computer, brushing the metaphorical dust off of this account. Mikey had insisted that he log on, that something was happening, so, out of a sense of curiosity and to appease his younger brother, he did so.
"Huh. What's this?"
Shrugging, Don presses the "opt in" button. After all, it's just a bit of harmless fun, right?
"This could be interesting."

Don had really stepped in it now. He was going to end up with not one but two Leonardos worrying over him, not to mention his other brothers and his father. Still, though, he couldn't help but be grateful to Leonardo for stopping him. He probably would have kept going until he just fell asleep where he was--like he had done in the past.
Head stable again, Don looked up when Leonardo came back in, bringing food with him, and sat on the edge of the cot with Don. He could smell the sandwich and suddenly, Don was ravenous. It was as if his body was just now realizing how hungry he was, and Don took the sandwich without hesitation. He took a large bite, and the reached for the water. Just like with the sandwich, as soon as the water touched his lips, he was thirstier than he'd ever been. He devoured the sandwich and downed the water quickly.
"Guess I didn't realize how hungry I was until I smelled it," he said with a rueful grin. "Thanks, Leonardo. I, uh, I really didn't mean to get this lost in my work."
"What--"
That was all that Don managed to get out as Leonardo scooped him up into his arms without any warning at all. He would have protested more, except that the movement sent his head reeling and it was all he could do to grab ahold of Leonardo and keep his balance. Leonardo deposited him on the cot that he kept in the lab, and Don grabbed onto it, trying to calm his swirling head. He leaned back against the wall, hoping that would help, and gave Leonardo a slight nod. He wasn't planning on going anywhere. Not like this.
His brothers were going to have a cow when they found out what he had done--and he was going to deserve it. But for now, all Don wanted to do was keep himself from falling over and stop his head from spinning. He could worry about the wrath of his brothers later.

Oh wow! Another Donnie?!
Hi, names Leo! U can call me Leon
Oh--more multidimensional shenanigans are at play, I see. Hello, Leon. I usually go by Don. I have met a couple of Leonardos on here, but it's nice to meet you as well!

"cool old"? Thanks, I think? And Prime Leader, right, I'm going to get in touch with Traximus, then. Just make yourself scarce around Triceritons for a bit, alright?
As for the games, think of it like the Roman Coliseum, with gladiators, animals, and being thrown in to your death, with crowds waiting to watch you get ripped apart and cheering for it, and an emperor--prime leader in this case--who holds your fate in his hands.
And it's all televised.
It was a very, ah, interesting experience to happen at sixteen. But we did take the Prime Leader hostage to escape and earned them high ratings, so I guess there's that?
Ok so uhhh I think I portaled into a meeting of some kind? It seemed important and there was a lot of yelling? Uhh. I think they tried to grab me for knowing state secrets or something, and I wasn't about that, so then I was "resisting arrest" and then they started shooting at me, so naturally did the cool vagabond, roguish hero thing and fought back and uhhh...
I'm safe now, gonna portal out soon, I don't think im welcome back in there. They like, probably have space insurance for all of that or something its fine.

What can I say? By brothers and I were ambitious teenagers. I think Taximus got us cleared from a lot of the crimes through the council. I think they took our prison time and the time in The Games as time served for the rest.
There are still extra guards around the ships when we visit though. But I guess when you steal the Prime Leader's personal cruiser twice, people remember, even if he's not in power anymore.

You--okay, yeah. Okay. Don't go back there. Did you happen to catch any names while you were in there? Does Zanramon or Traximus sound familiar? I, uh, I may know a guy, depending on just what meeting you portaled into.
By the way, welcome to the "galactic criminal" club. I think I'm still wanted on a couple of planets. I know Mike is.

Oh, the last thing Krang wanted to run into was one of these annoying reptiles. Tentacles are lifted up in his defense pretty quickly. "Wait! I'm not here to fight 𝕪𝕠𝕦!" At least not face-to-face like this.
@technodromes
Well. This was a bit different. Of all of the entities that Don had expected to encounter tonight, Krang from that alternate reality was not one of them. To be honest, Don had been hoping to encounter no one and just do some digging through the junkyard peacefully. At most, he expected maybe some Foot Ninja. Alternate reality travelers weren't really up there on the list.
Don lowered his staff a little, although he didn't put it away, and came out of his ready stance. "If you're not here to fight me, then why are you here?" Don asked him. "Is there another multiverse problem?"
He hoped that there wasn't. That had been... harrowing, to say the least.

"What--"
That was all that Don managed to get out as Leonardo scooped him up into his arms without any warning at all.
"Oh, indeed." Leonardo sighed.
He had the feeling that Don didn't know he had been up for at least three days straight, in his quest to try and get him home. And while he was grateful for it, he didn't want the other turtle to get sick on his behalf.
"It's Friday, Don." He deadpanned softly. His own twin was very much a workaholic, so he knew the pattern. He tilted his head, blinking at Don. He wasn't exactly happy, but he couldn't scold this one either. Might have been his brother in a way, but also, not? Dimension traveling was confusing.
"Ah, please, take a break. Rest." he started to fuss, when Don slumped. There it was, the exhaustion creeping in so suddenly. He knew the signs, and the medic part in him kicked in.
"After some rest. And food too...and drink something else other than coffee, please, for the love of pizza supreme in the sky." He wanted to pick him up so badly. Just tuck him in and make sure he got the proper rest he needed.
But he held himself back from doing it. He opted in lending a hand in picking up all the coffee mugs that were around in the lab, instead.

"Well..." Don rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I'm... not entirely sure? Well, not in a field test anyway. And that's basically what this is--a field test."
He dropped his arm, and made his way over to the coffeepot, pulling out a mug from the cabinet.
"You see," he said, as he fixed his coffee, "About two days ago, I was doing an experiment with a compound I managed to swipe from, uh, a less that reputable place a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, according to the records of that place, it was meant to do something with growth, although the records were incomplete and unclear." Don turned around with the coffee in his hands, and made his way back to the fridge, pulling out some creamer that April had gotten for them.
"Anyway, I was doing a controlled experiment with it in my lab, but I had some left in that vial. I must have been a bit lost in my head, because when I came to find something to eat, I realized I had brought the vial with me. It was stoppered, so I didn't think much about it. But while I was trying to find something to eat, I pulled out that container. I saw that it was moldy and, well, I thought 'I wonder what would happen if I put this serum on that?' and, well... I did."
Don put the creamer back and turned to face Leonardo, taking a sip of his coffee. "It's only been a couple of days, and that mold has really grown! It's grown much faster than the one in my lab, so I really am curious as to what's going to happen next."
He was reminded of his own twin so much right now. He almost wanted to cry. He knew that once Don had his mind set on to something, nothing would deter him from it. So he sighed, accepting defeat.
"Alright, fine." He grumbled softly, for show. Not much he could do, honestly. He looked down at Don, tilting his head to the side. As long as it was properly labeled, they wouldn't run into a dead dove, do not open situation from one of the resident turtle.

Not that it was going to stop Don from keeping it in there anyway, but Don grinned at Leonardo's acquiescence to his experiment. With a triumphant tilt to his head, Don took the container and carefully slid it back in its place.
"I promise you, Leonardo, nothing is going to go wrong with this. How could it? Everything is labeled and everyone knows better than to mess with one of my experiments. Besides, Mikey is the only one that digs that far back in the fridge, and he'll probably find it both gross and interesting."
He closed the door on the fridge. "I can't wait to see if that serum I put on it does anything."

"Well I can't put it in the fridge in the lab. It'll upset the experiments already have going. They're temperature controlled."
The reasoning for that rolled off of Don's tongue without even needing a second of thought. It his mind, it made perfect sense not to disturb the carefully controlled experiments that he had going on in his lab for something that was, essentially, an accidental experiment.
"I just want to see what happens, Leo. I have the container clearly marked, its way in the back, and it's sealed. I don't see what the problem is. Besides--you never know what discoveries might be made from random accidents or experiments!"
“I’ve been told to keep this in the fridge so it stays disgusting for longer.”
Leonardo isn't even sure where to start with this. Why. Why did Donnie want to keep this awful thing longer? It should be disposed of, really.
"You, huh... You doing some sort of science project with that?"
If not, he was going to yeet it into the trash.

Don looked up from his container of molding food, and blinked at Leonardo. For a moment, his mind ran through several different reasons that Leonardo would be reacting the way he did, as well as appropriate responses to his response. After all, what was wrong with a little experiment in growing mold in a sealed container in the fridge, so long as nobody ate it--and nobody would eat this, that was for sure.
"What?" Don asked, as he carefully put the lid back on the container. Clear sides and a clear blue lid made it easier to see what was going on in there, but looking without the film of the container was so much better. "It was already starting to mold back there. I just thought I'd see what happened if I helped it along."

Don shrugged. "Science project might be giving this a little too much credit," he admitted. "This is more like... satisfying my idle curiosity."
Don looked over at the mixture of former foodstuffs that was in the fortunately disposable and sealable container. The mold colony that was growing seemed to be coming along nicely, especially when he had added in a few things that were conducive to mold growth.
"It looks like its coming along nicely. I might get a few different kinds of mold out of this."

Don follows behind Mike, wincing a little at the reminder of the first time Don had seen Mike shot at. He really should have done more to help, but he had just been so stunned by everything going on he hadn't been sure what to do. He wouldn't put his brother in that danger again, so he followed him back to relative safety.
"...is the entire planet like this?" Don asked softly, looking back over his shoulder at the city scape. "Is the entire planet devoid of hope? Is the entire planet conquered like this city?"
It made him ache to think about it. Hope as one of the beautiful things that people had. It had kept humanity going for millennia. If all hope was goine, even if--no, when--they got rid of the Shredder, how would humanity persist? Would this be the end of the species?
"Surely there's something left somewhere..."
Don looked back out at the landscape around them when Mikey looked away from him. It had only been a quick moment, where Mikey was looking him in the eyes, but Don had appreciated it nonetheless. Not many people seemed to look him in the eye here.
He didn't want to think too much into what that might mean.
For a moment, Don was quiet as he looked out over the city. It was like a living nightmare. The dark sky, the pollution and clouds blocking out the skies, the omnipresent voice and presences of the Shredder and his propaganda, the people who have given up, it all just made the entire world awful.
"...I honestly don't know what I expected either," Don said with a sigh. "I guess I just wanted to see if there was anything that looked, I don't know... different, I guess. Some piece of hope or sign of life or anything."
He shook his head, turning back towards Mikey. "Yeah, I suppose we should. Something tells me getting spotted here would not end well."
#warblcd#rp#ic#rp: don should be home#Oh it's great!#and I'm having fun too!#I'm so glad that you are as well!
