Buying a bottle of rosé simply because the colour is so beautiful, it does make me smile without fail. Translucent pink: a ripe, bright colour.

Craving freshness: raw asparagus, wild fish, ice-cold sparkly water.

Summer thunderstorms - like coming up for air. The heat is not yet upon us, but it will come. Even then, even in the damp summer afternoons, I will still welcome a hug, a human touch. But even better: with lightning and rain.
