While on another art @youtube binge, I've noticed is that there are things some artist/ people who dabble in art as a hobby/ anyone who doesn't work in art retail at all, don't know. And they're things that different brands use but people either know what they mean, figure it out from trying supplies, need someone to explain it, or just never know and may or may not care about as long as it works... long story kind of shortened.... I realized that some of these things are things I know about and knowledge I can share. This first one is inspired by @drawingwiffwaffles a fellow Ryn/Rin who was using Acrylics in a recent video and was unsure what all the squares meant, which isn't hard because the middle two at first glance seemingly mean the same thing, but there is a different between the two, like when you use different pressures while sketching or a value study... all this to say I wanted to put together this and possibly other posts like it to illustrate different things that are delivered to use as common knowledge (within the art /art supplies world) but actually aren't... hopefully it helps people while shopping for supplies or just to understand the supplies they have, or in any way https://www.instagram.com/p/CXEtfrvvg24/?utm_medium=tumblr
