Introducing the Doo Doo Save File - Version One!

Disclaimer:

This save is still very much a work in progress. While most things appear to be complete (such as builds), there's still a lot to be done. So, keep that in mind. Also, I tried my best to playtest everything, but this is a HUGE save. So, it's possible I missed things. If I did, feel free to let me know!

CC, Mods, and Tips

If you want the townies’ relationships to stay intact, I HIGHLY recommend downloading MCCC. If not, you shouldn’t have any issues playing the save, but some relationships will eventually be deleted due to the culling system.

I did use one piece of CC, but it is absolutely not required in order to download this save. It's the Modern Family Portrait by RAVASHEEN! Download only if you want some cute portraits of the families.

For this save, I grouped some of the worlds together. You don't have to play this way, it's just a note to consider:

Improved Turn-On & Turn-Offs: Physical Features, Fashion revamp and other improvements

At Lovestruck launch, I created this mod to remplace Outfit Colors by Physical Features for Turn-On & Turn-Offs. 

In the meantime, I also added multiple new options to improve other parts of those Turn-On & Turn-Offs. Each modification is made on different files, meaning that you can pick & choose what you want to include in your game! It should only require the LoveStruck expansion pack.

Physical Features

File: DISL_PreferenceCharacteristicsUpdate_TurnOn

I replaced the Outfit Color preferences, as I know many of you won’t use them, to create those traits:

💪 Body Types: 4 preferences that correspond to a different combinations of the two fitness sliders

🧔 Facial Hair: the facial hair that are categorized ad length 1 (out of 3) are not considered for this one. If your sim has only a few hairs on the chin, it’s out of the scope

🐻 Body Hair: all levels of back hair, level 2 & 3 of chest hair, level 3 of arm of leg hair only. Only one item required.

💄 Make-Up: two items of make-up at least (I didn’t include eyelashes, as I know it will be used idependently of make-up)

👁️ Eye Color: blue, green or brown eyes. Unnatural eye colors are not included.

❤️‍🔥 Tattoos & Piercings: one item required, of course, earrings don’t count as piercings in this case.

I also increased their impact on attraction as it was initially very low (that made sense for outfit colors)

Fashion Choices

File: DISL_PreferenceCharacteristicsUpdate_TurnOn_Outfit

As EA tagging for fashion styles (and in most cases CC tagging) is really inconsistant and make no sense - a leather harness is basic fashion, hipster clothing is so out of date...), I wanted to turn those preferences into something that can be used in regular gameplay to increase and decrease attraction easily. It still has a lower impact but it can help!

👗 Classy, Festive, Sporty Outfit: a simple one, that correspond to the outfit category your sim is wearing.

🧥 Comfy Outfit: this one corresponds to cold weather outfits, everyday outfit with confortable items (sweater, jacket...) or pyjamas that don't include underwear.

🩲 Barely Clothed: this one corresponds to outfit including underwear or swimwear elements (or no shirt).

🧢 Hats, Glasses: those ones are straight-foward, they test if the outfit includes a hat, or glasses.

💍 Over-Accessorized: this one tests if the outfit includes 4 accessories or more.

⬛ Leather: this one corresponds to outfits including leather (outside accessories).

I tried to be as smart as possible in terms of correspondance between the new preference and the preference it replaces (Classy replaces Polished, Leather replace Rocker, Comfy replaces Outdoorwear...)

Hair Color

File: DISL_PreferenceCharacteristicsUpdate_TurnOn_Hair

This one is really simple: it merges Turquoise and Dark Blue Hair under a single Blue Hair entry, and adds the Bald preference.

Way of Life (Skills)

File: DISL_PreferenceCharacteristicsUpdate_TurnOn_Skills

Initially, the skill threshold is very low, only a level of 3 is required. This file increases the requirement to a level of 4 for teens, and a level of 6 for young adults and older.

Way of Life (Broke & Wealthy)

File: DISL_PreferenceCharacteristicsUpdate_TurnOn_Wealth

Initially, the tooltips for those ones are wrong 😐 I updated the tooltips (in all languages) and the value required: Wealthy Sims require a total value (cash + house value) of more than §200.000, and Broke Sims a total value of less than §25.000 or less than §1.500 in cash.

Sims Characteristics (Traits)

As my initial mod linked here, this one rebalances and add new traits to the tests, including lifestyles (some were already there) and Character Value traits from Parenthood.

All Hours Full-Time Agency Career Pack

Hello all,

I really hope you like my latest creation. This is pack of 20 full-time careers, and you can choose between taking the day shift or working nights! It includes 60 levels in total, with custom buffs, Daily Tasks (that are different for EVERY level), interactions and uniforms.

Here are the branches;

These should keep your Sims busy, and they include all the features of EA's careers; layoffs, enabled for Neighborhood Stories joining etc.

Pleasantview

A lot has happened in 25 years, but some new faces in town are stirring up rivalries and creating tension for the once happy families. Can anything be done to get the neighborhood feeling good again?

1.- The Towns

Pleasantview comprises three worlds: Willow Creek, Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade. The career builds (hospital, lab and police station) have also been made over. TOOL was used to decorate outside the playable area (added parked cars, playgrounds, etc.), but you don’t need TOOL for the save to work or for the objects to show. 

The worlds names have been changed: Willow Creek is Pleasantview, Newcrest is Pleasantview Plains and Magnolia Promenade is Bluewater Promenade.

Pleasantview is supposed to have everything or almost everything your sim may need. It has 24 residential lots fully built and 15 community lots, including: 

Woodland park: A big park.

Woodland Community park: a neighbourhood park, with basketball court and playground. 

Kim Gould’s Stakehouse (restaurant): a main street restaurant with offices upstairs. 

Wilsonoff Theater (bar): a cinema with an arcade upstairs

One Twenty Five Cafe: a café

The corner shops (retail): laundromat, grocery store, thrift shop and photo studio. 

Melrose Mall (spa): a beauty “mall” based on TS3 ambitions with a hairdresser, a stylist office, a massage shop and a nails shop.

The knitting nook (retail - bakery): bakery run by Coral Oldie where the knitting club gathers.

Pleasantview library: a library, with a scouts and a conference room downstairs. 

Pleasantview public pool: self explanatory lol

Lucky shack cards: the local watering hole / karaoke bar. 

Pleasantview Recreation center: it’s the gym, with a small gym equipment room, and separate rooms for: yoga classes, self defence classes, dance classes. It also has a huge indoor skate rink in the basement. There’s also an outside area to play basketball, soccer and climbing walls. 

Red Famous’ 50s diner: a diner and bowling alley.

Magnolia Grocer and gifts: the amazig supermarket built by the awesome @cfaerydae​ (thank you!)

Dr Hamilton’s clinic: the local vet clinic run by Marylena Hamilton.

The bank and café (cafe): Pleasantview’s bank, with functional vaults. Next door there’s a small cafe to grab coffee to go. 

2. The Families

All the premades families have been included and their relationships have been set. The have the same starting funds as in TS2. All the townies are the same that were generated in Pleasantview. 

Cassandra is ready to start a family of her own, but can she tame the town Cassanova? And can Mortimer bounce back after the disappearance of his wife Bella? 

Darren is pursuing his dream of being an artist, while his son Dirk hits the books. And Darren may have found his muse, but will his creativity be enough to win Cassandra’s affection?

Was it just coincidence that the Caliente sisters arrived on the eve of Bella’s disappearance? And is their interest in Mortimer physical… or fiscal?

Who is Don Lothario? Is his engagement to Cassandra Goth genuine? And what about the rumor that her mother, Bella, was last seen scaling the deck of his condo?

Brandi was left to raise two boys alone following her husband’s suspicious pool ladder accident. With Dustin acting out, can Brandi teach young Beau to make the right choices in life?

On the surface, Daniel and Mary-Sue Pleasant seem to have the perfect life, but is their love a flimsy façade? And can Angela and Lilith make the right choices when it comes to love?

John, Jennifer and young Lucy have decided to trade the fast-paced city life for some fresh air, and hope to make a nice home here in Pleasantview. John could finally adopt Tucker II and Lucy seems happier than ever…then why is Jennifer missing the city so much?

The Oldies are simply one of the nicest families around. Their years together through good and bad have made them into the wonderful parents, and grandparents, they are today.

Hello!

Here is the fifth version of my Dizzy Isy Save File. I have fixed all the photos and painted animals. It took me forever which is why the French version is not finished. I just don’t have the energy to do it all again. 

Moonwood Mill and Copperdale are now renovated, complete with new lots and families with their own storylines/relationships. Some of the new lots and sims can be seen below. In addition to the new residents, I tried to make sure that the students in Copperdale were populated with well-known teens from my previous versions.

Open your game, enter the save. It is named “Dizzy Isy Save File By Isleroux and you should see Averie Cromwell who is at high school and it is the beginning of summer. 

Don’t worry, there is no chance of suffering or reliving painful high school memories as Averie is super popular, a cheerleader, loved up with a cute football player and rich. Like old money rich! She even has a bowling alley in her basement. Have fun! If you feel like taking smug little Averie down, feel free to play it that way too :)

I used to use  NPCC By Paulson to keep track of townies and their jobs but it leads to lots of last exceptions so use at your own risk. I can’t guarantee new townies will not spawn because there is no magical mod fix for that yet. I have really tried to contain it in the save file and as of saving, everyone had the jobs in their household description. However once you start playing in the save. The game chooses to just do its thing and replace jobs etc. So annoying!

Make a backup of your Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves folder

Download the file, unzip, and place files in Electronic Arts/The Sims4/Saves.

Open your game, enter the save. It is named “Dizzy Isy Save File By Isleroux”.

The last played household is Calla Cotswold who has just inherited a Cobblebottom cottage from her grandmother Calista. She is still in mourning so be gentle with her.

DIZZY ISY SAVE FILE VERSION 2

Here is the second version of my precious Dizzy Isy save. I have fixed some lots from the first save and completely renovated Mt. Komorebi with new families and storylines. I have also added lots and sims to Brindleton Bay to integrate the Paranormal Stuff pack.

A major update is that I used the wonderful Custom Club Activities mod by @konansock to create a more diverse and alive feel to my clubs. Like the Zerbu mod, you will have to download it first before the save.

RUSTIC BRINDLETON

Hello guys! We completely rebuilt all the lots in Brindleton Bay with our own builds. There are 6 community lots and 10 residential lots, so 16 brand new builds in total! We really did enjoy rebuilding this beautiful world, and we hope you will love it too 💚 Here you go!

it’s CC free but we use all packs

We evicted all the households in Brindleton bay, but worry not, you can always put them back in any of the house available

How to install?

Make a backup of your save folder, which is located in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves

After you download the save file, unzip it and place all the files into the saves folder. We have named our save file with a high slot number so hopefully it won’t conflict with your save files, but if by any chance it did conflict, then just simply change the slot number.

Open your game and load the game you will see a save named Rustic Brindleton

Play it as you wish, and have fun!

Maristella Plus (Save File)

Maristella Plus is a re-do of Oasis Springs that also includes the lots (but not the households) from my Newlyn Hills (Newcrest), Blythe Harbor (Willow Creek), and Lynport (Magnolia Promenade) worlds, as well some bonus lots for the rest of the worlds.

Maristella itself was inspired by Southern California, namely cities like Palm Springs, San Diego, and Los Angeles. It’s a mix of hipster and hippie-ish, with a variety of families and single Sims. You can see more pics of the households and individual lots by visiting my Maristella tag.

The Sims in this save file are a mix of the EA pre-made households and households that I’ve created. Most of the pre-mades in the worlds I redid are on their same lot (different house) except for the Goths who had to move since their lot became a cafe. The Oasis Springs pre-mades aren’t living in any world (aside from Johnny Zest who got a makeover and more trailers on his lot). Also I deleted the pre-made vampire households because I didn’t want the save becoming a vamp fest. ;) Feel free to delete or edit any of the households/Sims as you wish.

10 years later - basegame savefile

hello everyone,

today i am sharing something a bit different than usual.

my first savefile using only basegame & no cc.

i have been building on this savefile for over 2 years now. sometimes more, sometimes less frequently. so it’s kind of a work in progress still because i don’t believe i will ever be 100% happy with it. but i decided to share it with you anyways because there is already a lot to discover and play with in here. many families have backstories and relationships to get you started with some interesting gameplay.

as the title predicts, the stories in this savefile are my imagination of what happens in the lifes of our known townies (and a few new ones) after 10 years. i just realized i could have said 8 years because of how old the sims 4 is by now, but i don’t want to go back and change that now.

to make this savefile more fun i decided that everyone can renovate or expand this to their liking and upload their own version as well so we can all get most out of this. if you decide to share your version please use the hashtag #10yearslatersave or tag me so i can check it out.

you can also upload the builds to the gallery if you renovated them. actually do whatever you like with it i just hope you like it and have fun 😊

if you find typos, builds that are not working, relationship settings that i missed or anything like that, please let me know so i can update the savefile in the future. i also want to update the savefile with more worlds from other packs and maybe take some better preview screenshots for this post some day!

anyways, i am happy that i can finally share this with you and really hope you enjoy playing with it, renovate the builds or whatever you like to do!

to install the savefile you only need to unzip the download file and put the .save file in to your saves folder. if you use windows you can probably find that folder here: \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves make sure that no other file in your ‘saves’ folder has the same name so you don’t overwrite any of you existing ones.

New Oasis Springs- No CC Apocalyptic Save File!

it’s finally here! The no-CC version of my Post Apocalyptic Sims 4 save file! Look out for the next version, as I’ll be adding personally made custom content to create a mystery storyline that will be up to you to solve. As for this version, play and explore at your heart’s content! I highly recommend downloading the Zombie Apocalypse Mod by Sacrificial to stir up real zombies and have the ability to shoot them, etc. Adds so much more to your gameplay! This save is populated!
