I've been gone for a while, but good thing to see WWE still knows how to destroy an ending

Mick Foley posted a video talking about how WWE is in trouble, and frankly everything he said is correct in my view. I always believed to be a true competition to WWE it was never so much about ratings (all my numbers friends are probably gasping) more than it was about a company being an actual goal for someone to aspire to in the industry. A place for talent to be excited to work towards and feel that sense of accomplishment when they get to it BECAUSE of the trust to be had in the creative team, owners, and other talent you get to work with. In my mind, if I were a talent right now I wouldn't be striving to head to WWE because of the sheer amount of examples in recent years of incredibly questionable decisions and dropped balls. If I were a talent in NXT I would be terrified of getting that call to the main roster knowing full well that my character that I've spent all the time in NXT honing and building on is going to get either watered down or scrapped completely for something else that I now have to fumble through until I find the footing for it to be comfortable on camera AND knowing that if I don't get it fast enough I'll be replaced or given yet another ridiculous gimmick to try and make work. While that's happening, the fans I'd built up in NXT are going to feel underwhelmed and disappointed and once the wind leaves those sails, it can be difficult to get it back. It almost feels like WWE lost the sense of writing a show around fans and more around business decisions. Which is all well and good, WWE is a goliath of a business but we came for wrestling. It almost feels like WWE doesn't know what to do in a PC era and still keep it entertaining outside of what caters to the casual fans.
This past weekend's All Out truly reminded me WHY I enjoy this business so much. It reminded me how a really well done event can make me feel like a kid at Christmas. "Well not every event is going to have surprise debuts" no they aren't, but with the many possibilities of match-ups and storylines that can and are coming out of AEW I'm excited for what could be. I can't tell you the last time I thought after a big WWE event "Man I can't wait for Raw tomorrow night" but let me tell you, I sure as hell can't wait for Dynamite this week.

Something tells me the same people throwing around George Floyd’s past trouble with the law as if it justified him being MURDERED (because that’s what it fucking is, its murder) are the same ones turning blind eyes to the whole Epstein/Trump/raping little girls issue as well as EVERY OTHER SINGLE ISSUE that has come forward on the president.

Haven’t even had the opportunity to watch Crown Jewel yet (Had to do the taking the child trick or treating stuff and other Halloween shenanigans), we just got home, but my phone decided today was a good day to spoil an event for me. Never enabled news notifications on my phone, have never had this problem in all the time I’ve had this phone, but throughout the night it kept popping up news notifications of results from earlier today?? No setting I changed would turn it off and make it stop and now the whole show has been spoiled for me piece by piece.
