You know I don’t blame Hordak for being like that. If I were part of a hive mind of identical twins, and that was all I’d ever known? And then I got suddenly ripped from that and stranded, alone and individual for the first time in my existence, on an equally stranded planet in a star-less dimension? I too would be unable to let go. I would probably also do some messed up things to replicate what I lost in a desperate attempt to be accepted back into the hive.

im having a crisis over the fact that humanity hasnt been around as long as i thought it had been

like the dinosaurs?? roamed the earth for like 160 something million years. humanity (as far as we have proof of)? 300 000. not even half a million

like in comparison to the greater scheme humanity is like a speck of dust. its y ive always thought the thought that “oh humans were made to rule the earth” is absolute bullshit because do u know how much of the earth is just not…like for us??

this would also explain how biologically we’re kinda wack w our not so good skeleton structures and shit cuz we never had time to fucking adjust to all this

how will humanity be at the 500 000 mark?? even the 1 million?? will we even be around then or would have nature wiped us out by then.

my life in the long scheme doesnt matter at all practically cause if 300 000 is nothing then whats like what 80years?? what could i possibly do in 80 years cause all of the big stuffs been done already. unless i figure out how to time travel or smthn my life and what i do w it rlly does not matter

this thought process always sends me spiraling w the “oh nothing matters i should die” rhetoric but at the same time i cant stop thinking about it because it just seems so incomprehensible (?) to me

Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.
