"Algie!" She sat beside him, smiling wide. "It's been so long, yes. I've been good, busy with well, wedding things and exams. " She blushed softly. "Alphard's mom is a bit-well- she uhm...makes me attend a course to become the perfect wife." She sighed. "And I have O.W.L.s and my mom is already planning the wedding like Alphie and I are gonna marry in a week." She looked up. "I- s-sorry. I shouldn't have vented." She glanced at him shyly. "How are you? Are you feeling okay now?"

Fresh air...finally.

"You're right. And we can always try to hide ourselves in the library when nobody's looking." She chuckles" After our parents make the announcment of course. And if the rumors actually stop it will be even better." She blushes a little, glancing at him. "Well, but that's why there are arranged marriages. To-to be sure that there is a new generation of purebloods. So of course they check if girls can well...make that happen." She smiles shyly at him, shaking her head." No, no. No tests after this." She takes his hand and intertwines her fingers with his. "Then we can finally begin our life together...no obstacles."

*He nods.* No, it’s not pleasant. But one way or another people will stare and talk. Perhaps if its one big occasion then everyone can get the rumors and that sort out of their systems and we can move forward with no more issues. Or at least only small one. *He tilts his head curiously before his eyes widen and he looks down.* I didn’t realize that they had such… requirements. B-But after… that. There will be no more of… that type of tests or obstacles, *He looks up at her, smiling embarrassedly.* Right?

I look forward to it. It's like nothing can embarass your brother. He's always so...perfect. *She grins* I'll finally have something to tease him with.

They need to make sure that the family will survive. It's tradition for all the pureblood families. *she sighs* If you think about it, it almost seems obvious that they check. It's not really a nice thing and-and your mother insists to be the one to take me to the appointment, which probably makes me even more uncomfortable about it.

Mother’s for sure going to pull out the most embarrassing ones she has in her possession. -He laughs-

-His  eyes widen in surprise before a tiny blush spreads through his cheeks- T-That… That’s a thing? They actually… They actually require a girl to do that?

Oh, I'd love to see Alphard's baby pictures! He would never show them to me. *She giggles, before her cheeks turn pink* You know...before marrying respectable pureblood boys girls have to see if they can ..well... *She blushes, looking around* make sure that they-they can have children.

I’m sure it’s only that… Maybe she’ll show you a few of his baby photos while she’s at it. -He chuckles- H-Healer? Why do you need to go see a healer?

She did. I haven't really told Alphard because it's a bit embarassing. *She smiles* Oh, if it's only that it won't be too bad. It will definitely be less embarassing than the appointment I have with the healer. *She blushes a little, looking down*

Did she really say that? -His eyes widen in surprise- Oh my… Mother! You shouldn’t stress about it too much though, I think. She might just choose to tell you some stuff about Alphie that you may not know like his favourite food or something.

Oh yes she is. *She chuckles lightly* Well, cats are always cats after all, aren't they? It's better not to verify if he can catch mouses.

You know he's actually kinda cute.

*Finn nods.* But that’s how most little animals are it seems. They’re cute and that sort of acts as defense. *He smiles.* Yes, she is, and always very helpful. Yes I will, of course I haven’t seen him catch a mouse yet but I’d rather not have this one be his first.

She also wants to teach me different things, so she will be sure that I will be the perfect wife for Alphard. *She blushes a little* I'm actually not looking forward much to her "lessons".

That sounds like my mother alright.-He chuckles- She likes to get things done early and her way. As usual, my father isn’t allowed to interfere with her party plans.

That's exactly what I think. I don't really like all the people staring at me and talking about us. My mom said that before the engagement your mother will take me to a healer to see if well... *she blushes, hiding her face behind her long hair* To see if I can g-give you children. *She nervously plays with the buttons of her uniform* S-so once they get the results they can plan the party. *She looks at her hands, feeling suddenly too embarassed at the thought of the appointment to say much else. *

I see, I’ve never really seen the point for big parties to announce an engagment. The people that we would care to have know surely already know by now. But I suppose it more for our parents then to actually announce anything. *He chuckles* Well until then it least it will mean no longer being dragged around to meet everyone at balls. *Alphard smiles.* I’m sure that that’s when it wll be set. I don’t believe there will be anything else large planned in that time.

It's true though. You truly are. *She smiles wide* Yeah...even though I don't really think she will. *she chuckles lightly, blushing a bit* My mom told me that your mom and her are already planning our engagement party.

Oh shush you. -Cygnus waved her off- Now you’re just flattering me. With some practice, I’m sure you two will do amazing and mother will finally lay off Alphie’s back.

It is nice, definitely. *She grins at the mouse* He is friendly....and cute. *She looks up, smiling* Oh yes, I know her. She is always kind to everyone. *she chuckles a little* I guess that you need to protect this little one then.

*He nods.* I’m sure no one would mind him as long as he’s friendly.*He smiles.* Well still, it’s always nice to be told you’re good at something you like.

He’s my girlfriend’s cat, um Caroline Diggory, have you met her?

My mother and your mother thought about this summer. Of course we'll have to wait until we're both seventeen before we can actually marry, but they want to make a big party to announce our official engagement. *she rolls her eyes a little at the thought of a big party for that. That will definitely be more for their mothers than for them.* I know it will be a little embarassing but at least we will be officially engaged. *She smiles shyly* She is just waiting for a confrimation but she thought july could be okay.

I do believe you. I know, he has quite the talent for it. *He smiles into the kiss.* Really? That’s something my mother might have mentioned. May I ask when it will be then?  *He smiles.*

And you really should believe me. Cygnus is extremely good with the piano, really. *she shyly brings her lips to his, happyness written on her face* By the way, mom sent me a letter and there is officially a date for our engagement party.

Well as they are your parents, Miss Prince, I think your word is the best to believe on the subject. So I wont worry about it. *He smiles at her.* Ah, I forgot about that room..*He chuckles.* It wouldn’t surprise me. Cyg always has taken to the piano.

*She smiles, looking at the mouse* He is relaxed indeed. *She brings a finger to lightly tickle the little animal.* It's a pleasure to meet you too, and I..well...I was just being honest.

You should. Mhm...Charlie?

*Finn nods.* Yea. See how he’s all calm acting? Most animals won’t relax if the don’t like or sense something untrustworthy in a person. *He nods.* He seems to like to explore a lot. *He smiles.*  Well it’s a pleasure to meet you, Eileen and thank you. It’s one of my favorite subjects.

You know I think I’ll keep him. I’ll just have to keep him from Charlie.

You, Mister Black, are exactly what my parents want for me, so don't worry about this meeting, okay? *She grins* I hope it works. There is a piano in the music room, where the chore usually practices. Your brother likes to spend time in that room a lot I think. *she chuckles*

Maybe so, but you’re quite the amazing girl yourself, Ellie. I’m sure that your parents realize that too and would want the best for you. Well that’s good, I would much rather spend time with you in the first place. *He sighes and nods.* I’m sure that her intentions are good. But still I will try to come to some sort of compromise with her. That could do for now, perhaps some good can come of this. Of course I’m not quite sure that this school has a piano.

Thank you. *She looks at him and her brows furrows lightly. Is he...sad about something? She uncertainly takes his hand and looks at him, smiling softly* Don't hide from people too much. We are friends, right? And friends spend time together, so don't try to hide from me *she lets go of his hand, chuckling* Do you want to take a walk? Or we can practice in spells. What do you think?

You think? I hope you're right. I've never really done a duet before so I think Alphard and I will need to practice a little. *she chuckles* Of course we're not as good as you. You are a natural talent.

I have no doubt about that! -He smiles- That will be absolutely adorable though. I’m sure mother would love that.
