Asks

We love asks! When shooting us an ask that isn’t on anon, please indicate if you’d like it answered publicly or privately. At the moment, due to the nature of the blog, we default to public answers unless the ask contains information about a specific fanfic the person is working on. Also, if you need a translation faster rather than slower, please indicate that as well, or else it may take a little while to be answered, as we tend to sit down and answer asks once a week (ideally, sometimes life just hits you, you know?).

If your question is longer, and you’d need to split your asks into multiple parts, please consider doing a submission instead so that we can ensure tumblr doesn’t accidentally “eat” the middle of your question.

Okay but like Dinluke au to the last episode!

So this would be in an alternate universe where Din and Luke decided to share custody of Grogu! And when Din decided to go to Mandalor to redeem himself but couldn’t find a suitable droid, at the last moment he remembered that Luke has R2D2 an Astromech droid!

So he goes to the planet where Luke and Ashoka are setting up the new Jedi temple. He roles up like “hey I’m going to Mandalor to bathe in the living waters so I can redeem myself in the eyes of my people. And I need a droid. Y’all wanna tag along?!” And Luke and Ashoka just kind look at each other like what the fuck? Did he really just say what I think he said?! Then they realize he did and that he’s serious and he’s gonna bring Grogu with him too. And they’re just like fuck we better go with him so he doesn’t get killed.

So Luke, Ashoka, and R2 go with Din to Mandalor. And maybe Din makes an off hand comment about Bo-Katan not wanting to join him and how she was sulking on her throne. So Ashoka has them make a pit stop so she can drag Bo-Katan off her depression throne and and to Mandalor with them.

The episode hijinxs ensues only Din and Grogu have Luke, Ashoka, R2, and Bo-Katan with him from the start when he gets to Mandalor. And honestly Luke and Ashoka are so glad they decided to go along cause otherwise Din definitely would have gotten his himbo ass killed on this trip if he’d been alone!!!

I just love how obsessed Din is with saying his sons name now that he knows, and how every one of his friends who knew him and Grogu before he found out the kids name are just so not impressed with the name. And poor Din is just like “but that’s his name, we know it now!!! How awesome is that!” And his friends are just humoring him cause they don’t wanna upset him and Grogu. It’s just to damn funny!!!!

His name is Grogu.

arguing with din djarin is worse than arguing w a brick wall because at least a brick wall can’t shoot you. the only reason he rolled up to the armorer’s lair was to tell her he was going to prove her wrong. ‘redemption is no longer possible’ mando, who already did his research ‘actually……… it is. and here’s proof <3′ and then the whole mess with IG-11. greef was like my dude we have hundreds of droids. ‘no I want that one.’ that one blew itself up. ‘that’s the only one I want’. that one just tried to kill u ‘someone can fix him’ these mechanics say its impossible ‘he is my FRIEND and he WILL be fixed’. and then he just stares at u judging in silence until u crack. he’s such a bastard I love him
