As bespoke picture framers our primary objective is to provide a product that delivers superior levels of protection for your artwork whilst serving to further enhance its visual appeal. With a background in art handling and as practicing artists we know the importance of how an artwork is cared for. Good practice can extend the life of a delicate work for many years to come, where as bad practice can actually shorten the life of an artwork. Therefore it is crucial that certain standards are maintained and adhered to. All of our frames are handmade using the fine art trade guilds set of strict criteria for conservation framing, this means PH neutral papers, mounts and tapes and the ability to safely undo any work carried out in the future (for re-framing etc.). The techniques and materials used should ensure that the art work will remain protected for in excess of 20 years. We pride ourselves on a higher level of quality and care.
