In Gaza, we live day by day, but every day is becoming more difficult. The cruel war that left us no choice but to live in a worn-out tent, constantly exposed to winds and storms, our suffering increases day by day. We have no safe shelter, no food, no water, and even our most basic medical needs we cannot get.🤍🙏

I am a mother of a baby with a critical health condition. His condition is getting worse day by day, and the more I look into his eyes, the more I feel my heart breaking because I can't give him the treatment or the food he needs to survive. My husband also suffers from a severe war injury that made him unable to move, and his suffering increases my anxiety and sadness.

In these difficult circumstances, we have become hopeless. There is no food, no water, no money to buy the simplest necessities of life, and diseases are spreading around us due to poor hygiene and deplorable sanitary conditions. The shelling is continuing, and we do not know when the next shelling will come. Fear fills our hearts, but hope in God still pushes us to stay steadfast.

Now we urgently need your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will have a huge impact on our lives. The money raised will help us buy food, water and treatment for my children and my husband, and will help us provide what it takes to survive.

Gaza is not only a besieged land, but it is a place where hope is killed day after day, even in the most basic human rights. We were waiting for this flour impatiently as if it were a precious treasure, but it came to remind us that everything in our lives is now conditional on new suffering.

I looked at the flour again, and imagined the children in Gaza, who dream of a hot loaf of bread on their poor tables. A simple loaf that they do not know that the path to it is fraught with pain and disappointment.

I wrote these words to tell you the story of flour, but it is not just flour; it is part of the story of Gaza, the story of every mother who struggles, every child who waits, and every young man who dreams of a better tomorrow in a land that refuses to surrender despite everything.

We owned a very large and beautiful house, and my father owned a perfume company that was one of the largest companies in Gaza. Suddenly, the war broke out. a few days ago I walked into a liquor store and found a bottle of Jack Daniels that had the words non alcoholic painted on it. naturally, I tried to check it out (not to drink it but to set it on fire). I then saw a strange man painting the words non alcoholic on all of the bottles of Jack Daniels. I thought he worked there because he had a vest on and I've never seen someone wear a vest outside of a store. then I put the bottle on the counter to check out the cashier started yelling at the guy that was painting all of the bottles until he started running and then the cashier chased him out of the store. I then decided that I would take all of the alcohol, break all of the bottles in the middle of the store, and set that on fire. the men then came back to see the store on fire and a sorry note from yours truly. I have learned absolutely nothing from this experience and will definitely do it again

GAZAN BOY NEEDS URGENT MEDICAL TREATMENT (SHRAPNEL EXTRACTION FROM HEAD)

A Gazan friend of mine outside Tumblr has recently contacted me with urgent and terrible news about one of her family members.

Haitham, who is here on tumblr @haithamnayef, and has been vetted by Mohammad @ayeshjourney on @gaza-evacuation-funds's list here at number 8 has endured a year of war without help and without a source of income.

He, his wife Sherin, and their 4 children, have endured constant displacement, homelessness, lack of basic needs, and constant terror for a year. Countless of their friends and family members have been martyred.

Now, Haitham is forced to ask for our help because the unspeakable has happened. His son was struck in his head with shrapnel.

I don't think I need to explain the danger of leaving a little boy with such a critical injury untreated for any amount of time, and yet he has been left untreated for far too long, and continues to worsen by the second. This is why we need to fight for him to receive treatment outside of Gaza as quickly as possible.

I always reiterate that time is of the essence, and that every second counts, and right now I mean this more than ever. Haitham and his family cannot bear the thought of losing their son.

I certainly can't bear it, and I know you can't either, so I'm begging you to act in any way you can, even if it's sending this campaign link to your friends and acquaintances.

The campaign has only received 9 donations so far, putting it at $158 out of its goal of $50,000. We can't let this stand.

The current events have laid its fingers on everything I built in my life; my house, my career, and my future.

My house has been demolished, I got fired from my job, and I was stripped out of all my belongings.

Last summer, I was doing really well at my online work as a supervisor facilitator at a Saudi firm. I have been selected as the employee of the month two times in a row, July and August.

Nour was born with a congenital heart condition. This has put her life in jeopardy on several occasions, and greatly impacted her growth and overall health and wellbeing. She requires medications to help keep her condition in check. This prescription will be ready for pickup tomorrow, Thursday 14 November 2024. There are multiple disabled people in their household who require frequent medical treatment, and yet the family has 0 income with which to procure it. Right now, the family is particularly concerned about young Nour. Her condition is chronic and serious. Without this medication, she could suffer frightening and painful symptoms, and her young life will be in danger!

Last month, you all helped the family procure Nour’s medicine. I know we can do it again this month! The medication costs about $400 USD or $559 CAD. If 40 people gave $10 USD, or 20 people gave $20 USD, or 10 people gave $40 USD, the medication would be paid for in no time!
