Log 3 - Dover Demon

Apologies for the lack of logs, I’ve been busy. The Dover Demon was given a variety of raw meats. Results were as follows:

Mutton: Hates it. Assuming because there are no wild sheep in Ohio.

Bear: …how was this obtained. Regardless, the Dover Demon loved it. There isn’t much of it, note to self: ask Intern Gecko to get more on their weekly shopping trip, along with extremely durable dog chew toys.

Beef: The Dover Demon also seemed to enjoy beef, but its digestive system did not. It appeared to have an intolerance of sorts seeing as no allergic reaction occurred.

Shrimp: The Dover Demon seemed to be put off by the smell and refused to eat it.

Crab: The Dover Demon also was put off by the smell and refused to eat it.

Pork: The Dover Demon was alright with the pork, but it didn’t seem to be its favorite.

Haven’t posted here so here’s some updates:

Two coworkers got kidnapped and one of the two were mind controlled. They were recovered

Discovered I’m more part demon than I thought. Happened while the previously mentioned coworkers were being recovered (note: unknown amount of SCP Workers dead). Was dissociated for 3 days. Cannot report on anything from this time.

Another coworker got kidnapped. They have been recovered. I skipped because I cannot mentally handle another fight in case… that happens again

There is a clone in my lab. I did not make them. They are face down in my lab. You can tell they are a clone because they don’t have purple hair (I dye my hair, it isn’t genetic). They have blond hair. What do I do. Please help.

Dover Demon - Log 2

The Dover Demon was fed a lemon I had lying around. Upon one taste it shrunk back to the opposite corner of its cell. The lemon was removed.

The Dover Demon was fed an assortment of fruits and vegetables from the ESC Cafeteria. Results are as follows:

Strawberries: The Dover Demon was put off by it due to the leaves, but ate half of it.

Cucumber: The Dover Demon ate the whole thing in two bites. Continue to use as part of regular diet.

Pickles: The Dover Demon licked the pickle, sprung backwards, and then flung the thing at me. Ow.

Tomato: It ate the whole thing despite hesitation. Considering to use as part of diet.

Kiwi: It seemed put off by the fur, but loved the inside fruit flesh. Peel and continue to add to diet.

Banana: It hated it both with and without the peel.

Bell Pepper: It seemed to have a minor allergic reaction of sorts. DO NOT FEED IT PEPPERS.

Dover Demon - Log 1

Okay. I fed it a blueberry muffin to see how it would react and it seems to have a dislike for blueberries. This is possibly because of how tart they taste. However, after eating a bit of the muffin without the blueberries, it seemed to go into a sort of “sugar rush” and nearly broke out of its containment cell as it ran around for about 30 minutes before having a “sugar crash” of sorts. Any advice on how to further contain the beast would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks.

Just finished setting up my new lab since the old location burned down. I took this photo once I got the boxes in (there weren’t many, most of my things got burnt down in the fire). I plan to study the Dover Demon I got as a gift. I’m going to study its behaviors and diets and such and then dissect it once it dies.

Heya. I’m back. I got acid / third degree burns on my hands but I’m almost done recovering. I should be out of the med bay and able to move into the new ESC base on Sunday. I’m moving in on Monday.

Also @transrobotgecko got me many things (Dr. Blithe requested them, it was a surprise) including but not limited to: Some thermal imaging cameras (mine got fire damage in the old lab when it burnt down / exploded so I’m really happy about this), a mothman plush (I’m calling him Mothy), a book of cryptid photos, and A FUCKING DOVER DEMON. ALIVE. Intern Gecko you absolute MADLAD /pos.

Also some updates on the ESC: there’s a projector-headed monster stealing / copying people’s memories, showing them, and running off. It hasn’t shown any of mine yet and I don’t believe it’s affected Dr. Blithe since we talked and apparently we share the same backstory. The lab self-destructed (and rebuilt itself, actually.) but I was moved to the GSC before that. Lastly, someone put a virus in the air at the Ohio lab that makes people feel like they’re in a Hallmark movie. It doesn’t affect Dr. Blithe since xey already love Christmas so I’m wondering if it will do the same to me. On that note, Dr. Blithe is trying to create a ginormous Christmas tree because and I quote: “‘Tis the season.” I wish I were making this up.
