unfriendly daily reminder that caxab language (coercively assigned [x] at birth) is only for intersex people who received genital "corrective" surgery as infants/at birth, and is not for perisex trans people or intersex people who did not receive such surgery :) ya'll already took agab language from us and we learned to live with that since the term was ambiguous enough to apply to everyone if they found it useful, but the c for coercive is there to describe a very specific act of medical violence that does not happen to everybody, including not all intersex ppl, so stop :) fucking :) using it :)

added nuance: i have seen arguments that it can also be used for intersex people who were forcibly put on HRT, though IMO that defeats the "at birth" part of the acronym, but that's just my onion and intersex people are lovely and we can do whatever we want forever. perisex ppl can get a fuckin grip
