Sometimes I think about how after I had my Ketamine loading doses and applied to grad school and got the best grades of my life and how both my brothers have done a ton of drugs but never in an addiction way and did most of them in college while having great friends, great grades and leaving with a life long partner. how so did my dad and how we are descendants of bootleggers and how maybe just maybe some people just need to go have a drug fueled psychedelic experience from time to time that's probably in my genes and how other people are wired so different that it's bad for them. And one of those people is my dad's sister.

Like I'm not saying drugs are the answer. It just annoys me that all of my mental health drugs are controlled substances that are hard to access safely and in many cases safer* and more effective than the standard treatment. Like it shouldn't be a privlege to get them but it is. And like how many people who are seen as "addicts" actually need those drugs or other treatment that I have access to and they don't. We are just white enough (Jewish) and just rich enough to be fine (all that bootlegger money) but so many aren't. They deserve access to treatment too

we are well aware that what we look and sound like directly influences what we are perceived as upon first impression. it is just the truth. a lot of us will never escape misgendering. but that is really not an excuse to refuse to change your language when you learn otherwise

What y'all didn't understand about Bitey was that it wasn't this moment where Tomshiv suddenly became equal and safe to be themselves both truly. It was entirely on Shiv's terms. They only play Bitey because Shiv initiates it and tells Tom to bite her hard.

But they're not and they never will be. Cos Shiv loves like her father does: an owner that kicks a loyal dog to see how quickly it returns. bro i’ve been rereading dog man recently and MY GOD do they REALLY have to make it that sad?- Petey was always my favorite character (The only exception being Flippy because he’s honestly who I aspire to be. Dunno why I like Petey though.
