My guppies and mollies will do the same thing and they took two black neons as their buddies. My gouramis usually like to hide or stare at me when I'm sitting on the couch. But my bettas on the other hand oh my goodness they get spazzy like the guppies and mollies when they see me enter

An accident that leads to tragedy

So last night calcifer was swimming in his sleep. Usually he never does this and well he swam into his filter current and hurt himself on one of his deco hides. So coz he was out of it last night I put him in one of those floating boxes so he could recover and later I found he injured his back and side right above the stomach. Just now I went to check on our little strawberry comet and he ended up passing away. I don't know what I'm going to do. We had so many funny memories of him as well. Swim in peace our little strawberry comet. Your comical nature will never be forgotten nor will your love for food.

I absolutely love October and the inktober challenge. Besides Halloween is when I got married so of course I'm gonna be extra hyped for that month

It’s not the best but I finally finished the sketch of Azura I started like forever ago for my husband. It was to be a tattoo design for him for when she passed away and well she sadly did on the 19th. May our twilight princess swim in peace. She lived a long and happy life of 3 years from being in a cold cup at Walmart.

I seriously need some help. @fishhhhhhh has been helping me and well azura did get better but then after the kaneplex treatment she was doing great. The swelling on her side had disappeared again. A few days later I noticed that same side that swelled up was kinda white and patchy looking and went to treating her with maracyn 2. That's when things went down hill. She then proceeded to bloat really bad like so with one side still kinda white on the tips of the scales. I know no one will help. I'm probably going to get all sorts of hate but even my husband can't sleep and this is his little girl. We've had her going on 3 years now and she's always been strong enough to recover from everything. We need help knowing how to fix her up again. Any help would be appreciated.

So on my journey into Walmart for a few thing my husband and I needed, I made the mistake of wondering to the fish. I found out several things instantly. 1. The associates they promote there don't know shit 2. The bettas are kept in cold water. And no not room temp cold I mean freezing cold touch. That there promotes several health problems right there. 3. When they need to medicate the fish it's done with one of those lovely betta cups filled halfway with aquarium salt in every section there are fish. The salt burns the fish when it comes in contact with them causing them to suffer and die. Also the goldfish are curious eaters and tend to try and eat it. Those that do, of course, die as well. 4. They only change the betta cups once a week! Like this lady knew enough they needed better care but maintenance on them was nothing to her. Petco on the other hand, at least out here does it 3 times a week and with not so frigid water. 5. If they cared about the fish they would have noticed the cute orange parrot cichlids gills were having problems. 6. Lastly, my period spoke, I told her about how the aquarium salt harms the fish when not dissolved and was told it was what management said to do and was procedure. Way to go management! That's the end of my rant. This beautiful koi we rescued the other day. Unfortunately we couldn't keep the cutie and it's at our local petco. It was in the same 55 gallon tank as a red ear slider turtle that unfortunately was released into the wild by the people we saved the fish. Someone please house this adorable child. This koi child has beautiful icy blue eyes. I laughed more that the label said he was a very aggressive cichlid
