//wow it feels like forever since i’ve been here haaaaaaaaaaaaaa i miss this blog, but alas, i’m not ready to come off semi-hiatus yet ;w;

i wanted to type up a drabble, but i don’t think i’ll get the time, so maybe it’d just be easier if i explained exactly what is going on with bobby and barbie’s absences from the multiverse

barbara feared leaving roberta alone whilst she went off to complete another assignment thus she took her with her; unfortunately, the organization wasn’t too happy and demanded insisted that she leave roberta in their more than capable hands. everything that was going on betrayed every principle bobby believed in and of course she rebelled, only earning her solitary confinement and the occasional torture to ensure that she feared the organization. barbara refused to let them kill her, though. she made sure bobby was fed at least once a day and kept alive. this went on throughout the entire duration of barbara’s assignment, which lasted a few weeks. barbara asked the organization to intervene since they insisted on keeping roberta at one of their various bases hidden from the rest of the world for so long and to ensure that the LAPD did not question her absence and that they would dismiss any inquiries to her disappearance as “family matters.” when she was finally released she was malnourished and weak, barely hanging on; she’d developed an incredible fear of those that barbara worked with and tensed up whenever her “sister” approached her. the same night she was released she began screaming in the middle of the night; barbara panicked and became frustrated when her attempts to calm the detective failed and only seemed to worsen her screams and ended up hitting roberta in the head with the first blunt object she could find. AS OF RIGHT NOW, roberta is in the hospital, being treated for the various injuries induced by the organization and is constantly visited by barbara, her closest [distance-wise] living “relative.” she hasn’t woken up; it’s been a few days.

so if anybody wants to drop by the hospital and pester either of the two fulbright sisters (either the sleeping one or the grumpy one) i’ll do my best to respond despite my semi-hiatus status
