You'd think the bigger eater of the two would be the actual demon lord of gluttony, but you'd be wrong. >:)

A lot of this kink for me is about making someone feel comfortable and sated. I want you to relax while I make you food, I want you to enjoy everything you eat and not hold back, I want you to feel warm and appreciated by me. Watching someone else eat lots is so cute to me. It’s just like I want to take care of someone. I want someone to get round off of me doting over them and making sure their belly is always filled, maybe even overfilled at points. I just love the idea of making someone feel so comfortable with eating that they just eat to their heart’s content all the time and always indulge themselves, and get chubbier and softer as a result. If you’re not struggling and heaving to get up after we’ve eaten together, I’m not loving you hard enough. And then, after stuffing themselves to the brim, I want them to rest and sleep off their food coma somewhere warm and cozy.

so what’s the story for the ff7 au?
It's a very simple AU, honestly lol.
"Cloud and Tifa live peacefully together, and Cloud gains some weight, which is a sign that he's healing".

Not sure if this is your jam but what about a character who needed to wait for comfort (what they need it for up to you, I'm not picky) finally getting it?
this is SO much my jam its not even funny. semi-tummy focused but some are more general. feel free to tweak as needed to fit the desired setup
Your character's tummy is upset, but they're too proud/shy/etc to admit it to their partner. All they want is to be held and cuddled and taken care of, but it takes a while for the other person to realize they're in distress. Finally, though, they notice something's off, and your character melts in their arms the moment the other person starts to comfort them.
Your character isn't feeling good, physically and/or mentally. They're all alone; everybody they try to reach out to is at work or otherwise busy, and their texts go unanswered. Feeling forgotten and miserable, your character curls up and marinates in their suffering for what feels like ages until finally somebody (or multiple somebodies) answers their cries for help.
Your character has been having the absolute worst day. Everything has gone wrong, all their tasks have been miserable, they're not feeling good, and on top of it all, they've been trudging through it alone. They get home (or to a friend's house, or wherever) looking worn out and beaten down, and their friend/partner/etc immediately takes them into their arms and settles them in for a nice hearty dinner and some much-needed attention.
Your character is scared. What they're so afraid about is up to you, but they're unwilling to admit it, playing it cool and trying to hide their fear. Even though they're the one hiding it, they can't help feeling a little upset that the other person won't notice and comfort them. Eventually, though, they have to come clean. Maybe they reach their breaking point, or the other person finally notices and makes a move, but there's no hiding it anymore.
Your character is suffering from an awful bellyache, but their friend/partner is at work, leaving them to tend to their poor tummy alone. Unfortunately, having to move around to get things isn't helping, and they're unable to soothe their sore belly. Finally, though, the other person comes home to give them some much-needed care.
Your character has just woken up from an awful nightmare. They're sniffling and trembling in the dark, desperately wanting comfort but not wanting to wake their partner. They try to curl up and get back to sleep on their own, but, too shaken by the dream, they find themself unable to, and there they lay, wide awake, feeling frightened and alone. Eventually, their movement rouses their partner, who scoops them into their arms and holds them until they drift off again.

Coukd you write about a Character who gained weight is maybe a tiny bit unsure of what their partner thinks of the wg and worries about it
Your character's partner notices that their fashion sense seems to have changed lately. They're wearing looser clothes than they ever seemed to prefer when they spend time together. After a little bit of casual questioning, it's revealed that your character has put on a little weight and was worried about what their partner would think. Of course, their partner reassures them that they don't mind, and when your character is back in their usual attire the next time they meet, their partner makes sure to let them know how cute they look.
Your character has been a little less cuddly with their partner lately, and the partner has a sneaking suspicion that it's because of your character's recent weight gain. Wanting to let them know that they adore their body no matter what, the partner makes a point of giving your character extra love and cuddles, and especially planting lots of kisses on their soft belly whenever they have the chance.
Your character's weight has been steadily creeping upwards, and they're not thrilled about it. Their partner is pretty thin, and your character worries about how they look next to them, what other people think, and, worst of all, what their partner thinks. It doesn't take long for the partner to catch on to their insecurity, and they remind your character that not only do they love them no matter what, but that they think your character's body is incredibly attractive.
Your character orders something uncharacteristically small and light while out for dinner with their partner, who is immediately concerned. Are they feeling alright? Are they sick? Aren't they hungry? As it turns out, your character is feeling a little insecure about their weight, and is especially worried about what their partner thinks. The partner makes sure your character eats well that night.
Your character's appetite has increased lately, maybe due to a new medication or some lifestyle change, and, as a result, they've gained a little weight. They're embarrassed by how hungry they've been and try their best to hide it, especially when they're with their partner, but there's no hiding a rumbly belly. Their partner assures them that it's alright and that if their body is asking for food, the logical thing to do is feed it. That night, they make a nice big dinner for your character, leaving them so full that they aren't particularly hungry again until morning.
Your character's partner is an excellent cook, and since meeting them, your character has put on a good bit of weight. They're a little insecure about it, worrying about what their partner must think and whether they still find them attractive. When their partner realizes this, they tell your character that the weight gain makes them happy because it means they're enjoying their cooking so much.
