I like the Maddie is a surrogate and they only wanted one idea. Tim had run a background check and DNA test on Danny Danny had been told that he was the result of a surrogacy turned twins and the family had only wanted one so the Fentons kept the second. Tim tells Danny about the DNA results, Danny explains the surrogacy. They both get along really well and are super excited to have a new sibling. At some point Danny asks Tim about if he should meet the rest of the Waynes. Tim says he wants to mess with them a bit first, and of course Danny commit to the bit Fenton is down. Tim had already been planning a bunch of pranks, even planned on telling Danny about the bats so that they could do a bit with "Tim" and Red Robin being in the same room, when Danny got kidnapped. Tim was a bit concerned, as he hadn't found Phantom in Danny's background check, and Danny hadn't mentioned it yet, so from Tim's POV Danny is just a normal civilian, but then Danny is perfectly capable of dealing with it himself(he'll talk to Danny about that later but for now) he sees the opportunity and can't bring himself to waste it, he sends Danny a quick text simply saying "Waynes=Bats" then dropped in and started chastising "Tim" alongside the rest of his family. Then Danny drops the lore about being illegal and Tim immediately throws himself into a 96 hour bender systematically dismantling the GIW and removing the anti-ecto acts from law before continuing the prank war on his siblings.

The Stand-in Job

Danny loved his job. It was an easy on call job he got rather on accident. But it paid well and gave him enough time to deal with ghost matters outside of scheduled work hours.

Though now he got stuck in a situation his Boss had not provided him with a script and or explanation how to behave for.

Danny was a simple Stand-in. Sort of like a Stuntman kind of job. His boss was paying him to simple take his place during public appearances, or meetings with no big decision he has to sit through just to listen. Or on the easiest of days, to just sit in his boss office so it appears that someone is there while his boss was doing who knows what. Danny doesn't question, that's why his boss liked him.

But again, no where in his contract was described how he was supposed to handle this situation. So now he was stuck having beat up a couple of wannabe kidnappers and some vigilantes talking to him all casually going on and on how 'Tim', his boss, wasn't supposed to do that to not risk his public image. Should he record this as evidence for his Boss? It sounded like these vigilantes were spilling some of his boss' secrets that shouldn't be known to the public.

Tim just needed someone to sit in his place to make it appear like he was there when he had cases to work through. Danny was the perfect hire for it and Tim liked very much that Danny doesn't ask questions, like he understood. Yet when Danny sent him a text questioning how he should behave as Stand-in in front of Gotham's vigilantes.... Tim wasn't sure if he should feel offended or highly amused about his siblings not realizing that the one kidnapped in public hadn't been Tim but his Stand-in Danny.

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

62th lineart for this year's @green-with-envy-phandom-event! 

This is a collaboration: Lines by @thatonejumbledmess, color by Furiarossa (because this year the artist duo Furiarossa&Mimma is split in half! We'll be competing against each other, in two different teams... but still, all the stuff will be posted on the same Tumblr account, or Patreon, or wherever you follow us)

And here's a new feature! Since we're working on a card game, and we want to give all the other participants (and spectators of this event) a fun "demo", we've decided that each of the completed illustrations will be used to make a "Let's Play! Overlord" card.

All the cards will then be collected at the end in a pdf file and will be freely available to everyone, becoming a print-to-play game that we hope will be fun, and that will include easter eggs and other little treats, but will also be perfectly playable within the main game.

Art Attack baby! Time for another 4 lines. To start us off, we have a more joke-y concept. Found footage of a LBM in the act of stealing their favorite food: French Fries. I have it on good authority the fries there are top-notch too! You should probably tell the manager before you get an infestation of the little guys, though! Reading rahaeli's bsky feed is an education in itself. I did not realize it was so common for undercover agents to join even harmless social activism groups and try to encourage people to do things they could be arrested for. The song has about a dozen verses, all of them based on incidents that resulted in felony charges o.O

The whole thread is very worth reading, especially since the incoming administration has been been very clear that they want to criminalize being trans or supporting trans rights. (Among other things.)
