eves payjay ramblings on inanimate insanity season 2 episode 16 . obvious spoiler warning for below

even in their smallest interactions , the socalled "silly" ones played off as jokes , you can see paper genuinely upset at how dismissive oj can be of him .

take this scene for example , paper is so happy to share his adorable acronym for the Hotel OJ Party (H.O.P , going by papers not so accurate acronym that was argued over several times in the livestream , loved that reference)

after knife says it would be "H.O.J.P" rather than hop , oj goes ahead and goes all "i TOLD YOU SO" about how the acronym was a stretch

while this is played off as a funny joke , paper is seen to be legitamately hurt by this , asking why he couldnt just go with it

in the background they can be seen having a conversation

however this conversation is very one-sided , as while it keeps jumpcutting between suitcase and nickel + balloon , oj is the only one talking the entire time as paper just stands there and listens to him

in this scene when oj is stroking his fat orangey ego again by trying to make the party hats paper has been working on all day meant for the guests look like him , paper "snaps" (i dont have a good word english is not my first language) at him about how he always makes it about himself

we can see how much this hurts paper by the fact he is jealous of the fact oj was in a lawsuit . something you usually wouldnt wish upon yourself

after telling oj all of this , hoping just maybe his (very really insanely platonic) best friend of several years would actually own up , apologize and reassure him .. he just . stands there

but you can see in ojs expression , he DOES feel bad . its not like hes a neglectful demon or something , paper is still his (very really insanely platonic) best friend , but he doesnt say anything

nor does he get the chance to before his time is cut short .

and even after all of that . it had been several minutes , maybe even over 10 since he was "killed" (i refuse to believe they are permanently dead and oj wont be back) , with other hotel residents succumbing to the same fate and everyone running around screaming and panicking

hes still stuck by the inanimate corpse of oj , just staring in disbelief

I'm gonna go deeper in detail later but. I just want to say something. I am pretty sure Cobs is lying about Mephone4 generating all of the contestants. Listen. There's a line about the song being brainwashy. There's a chance that Cobs is lying to get everyone against Mephone4. There's a chance that Cobs BRAINWASHED the contestants. There's a chance he made them forget everything just to keep Mephone4 entertained. We know he likes to torture Mephone4. We know he wants to hurt him.

We know that Cobs has the funds and the ability to private everyone from their past lifes and make sure they don't remember anything. He took out everyone who went "against" what was planned for them. And also, think of it. Mephone4 generating the contestants DOES NOT make sense if you look at how his generating skills acted pre-s1. He STRUGGLED with generating a tree, and Cobs, the oppressor, the guy who kept sending mercenaries to kill Mephone4 off, CLAIMS that Mephone4 generated everyone. It is absurd.

I genuinely think Cobs brainwashed everyone and gave them amnesia. He's always been on control.

After a couple weeks of work, I’m finally able to post about one of my favourite art pieces of mine!!

This is my linocut print of SharkBearBerry from EEE!!

Going into the project, I was pretty sure I wanted to do something Excellent Entities related, but I wasn’t quite sure. I was dead set on something to do with Chocolate Bar for a while, but then I realised that SBB would probably be more interesting to draw!!

This was my first thumbnail sketch, I was drawing without a reference at first so it looked pretty choppy, and I wasn’t too happy with the background.

Altered it a bit! Added more to the tail and removed the bit in the background.

Final sketch to transfer onto the block, I added an outline to SBB and attempted to make it look like he was in an animation program!! His snout got elongated at some point too, thank god.

Started using this scene in THREEEE 2 as a reference!!

Finally transferred the sketch onto the block!!

Begun carving, transferring the sketch on crooked really came back to bite me though. I had to straighten out the bars of the background as I went through with my carving.

First proof, and it was SCARYY. I don’t have photos of every single proof I did but there were at least five, did a lottt of extra carving.

After a few proofs! So. Much. Carving. Especially on his head and tail, but it turned out fine!!

One of my final proofs, over inked it a bit but I was headed in the right direction!!

My final!! It’s one of six in the run, but in my opinion it was the best quality wise! (I was technically supposed to have 10, but my teacher is a godsend and told me not to worry about it)

I also had it entered into an art competition, and funny enough I won an award of excellence!! (it’s a reference trust,,,)

My only regret is not flipping the background when doing the block honestly, it’s facing the wrong way on the print. It bugs me a little bit, but overall I’m proud for my first attempt!

the only bad artists are those whose work perpetuates discrimination or causes undeserved harm. there is no “aesthetic” excuse for fatphobia. humans are diverse. if you’d like to draw them, learn to draw fat bodies.
