Jealousy -yet another HPMA fic
How this ended up in @as-thra Oc's pov I don't even know...
"Am I doing this right?" Eclipser hummed tilting her head attempting to look into the mirror Aslan was holding brow furrowed in concentration as she operated the small dagger she was using as a stencil in her left hand and her eyeliner in her other. "I think so?" The blonde replied raising a brow, "I can't tell, I think you have hooded eyes. What's with the sudden urge to do eyeliner anyways? You never put make up on your eyes."
"I saw a cute look in a magazine and wanted to recreate it." She shrugged rolling her eyes sticking out her tongue. "The dagger was a creative decision. Wait I think I got it!"
Aslan titled his had moving her jaw around to observe the lines she made. "The lines could be neater but it's your best one yet." He grinned as the Ravenclaw stuck her tongue out at him.
"What's the point, your glasses will hide it anyways, just do the look without the eye liner." The Slytherin hummed using his thumb to wipe away some smudging. Eclipsers eyes meanwhile trailed behind him staring at something in the distance with parted lips.
"Why's he with her again...?" Eclipser scoffed, causing the blonde to turn around and see his sister walking with a certain red head his friend was certainly not in love with, cue the eye rolls.
"Oh, Cass doesn't want to admit it, but she kind of sucks at potions, herbology's her element and all." Aslan shrugged blinking at him thumb, desperately trying to get the black eyeliner stains off with his hand kerchief.
"So she goes to Daniel? She turned him upside down when we were in second year...why's he even helping her." Eclipser muttered causing Aslan's eyes to widen at the odd moment of hostility from the usually diplomatic Ravenclaw.
He followed her gaze across the courtyard where he watched Daniel and Cassandra walk past. Eclipser wasn't the biggest fan of his sister, often being civil and polite, just to keep the peace, yet here his friend was shooting a glare that could perhaps kill the dark lord himself towards Cassandra Vole. "I guess he got over it?" Aslan hummed a small smirk tugging on his face, he knew exactly where Eclipsers glare and frustration had stemmed from even if she wouldn't admit it. Eclipser muttered something along the lines of. "Daniel getting over a grudge, HAH!" But didn't argue against her blonde friend.
"Something the matter Clipsey?" Aslan hummed, as the two packed up their things from the fountain side they were sitting on, he watched as Eclipsers eyes followed the red hue of Daniels hair until he was out of sight, a slight glare on her face. The next time Aslan saw Eclipser, it wasn't with a pleasant mood, the ravenette, had came into the great hall for dinner, for once, and walked over to the Slytherin table plopping down beside him, the staff had basically begun to just let the student spread out as they wished giving up on trying to keep the houses together when it didn't matter.
"Your angry again." Aslan hummed.
"I'm FRUSTERATED." She corrected.
"My apologies."
Eclipser blew hair out of her face, her back against the table as she sat next to him, gripping her pants, a tell tale sign that she wasn't happy.
"Weren't you supposed to sneak out out with Daniel early to see the moon calves?" Was the wrong thing to say, as he watched his dear friend begin to rant.
"You'd think wouldn't you, our monthly schedule but nOoOoO, he has to go to the green houses with Cassandra!" She huffed. "The greenhouses! Are you kidding me? Cassandra needing help with herbology? I've seen her roses, I'll be the first to admit, I've wanted to buy one of her, but he could at least make a better lie if he's ditching me for her." She began to pout crossing her arms.
"You sure your not Jealous?" Aslan, asked tossing her a chocolate crossing.
"Very..." Aslan should have expected Eclipser to do something stupid, as smart as his dear Ravenclaw friend was, she was also the queen of dumb ideas. Thus, he watched as Eclipser walked over to Colby and the two left the great hall, for what he assumed was to see the moon calves, Daniel....he wasn't going to like this.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Aslan!" Daniel called seeing a familiar shine of gold hair, the red head ran over wrapping an arm around his friends shoulder. "Have you seen Elle?"
"Oh!" Aslan hummed startled at the potion prodigy's sudden appearance, "Eclipser...uhm, oh yeah I saw her...Hagrid asked for her earlier, something about the creatures for next weeks class? She went to go find Colby to help her round them up I think..."
His smile faltered. "She asked Colby...? Colby Frey? Fischer's brother?" Daniel confirmed, Aslan could swear the boys eye was twitching.
"Yeah, why?" Aslan paused, a realization forming, Daniel might have had a better poker face than Eclipser but he could still see through it.
"Nothing...just didn't expect her to ask Colby...usually comes to me for help with creatures..."
Aslan then decided to make a bad decision and egged Daniel on. "Well I mean, she did basically RAISE, a DRAGON, with Colby, guess she thought he'd be better suited to help." It was a very bad idea indeed, but if it could speed up the process and stop his friends from stumbling around their feelings? Who was he to complain? "Still it's Colby...since when were they so close...?"
"Oh they hang out a lot actually, they come into the library Thursday nights and just read poetry or go stationary shopping in Hogsmeade...something I was not supposed to tell anyone..." Lottie trailed off walking over to them. "Hello Aslan."
Daniels face was as red as his hair. "What...?"
As Aslan and Lottie began to chat, the Slytherin filling the Ravenclaw girl in on what had been happening, Daniel stared off into the corner, "But...we do that..." Daniel mumbled, his brow beginning to furrow.
"Huh-" Aslan started.
"We always go window shopping...she always shows me her dark poems..." Daniel continued his face showing an expression that seemed to cross between, almost crying and rage.
"Daniel are you-" Lottie started watching the red head storm off while gripping his wand.
"Lottie...It's Thursday..." Aslan winced.
"This is not going to end well..." She sighed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It took less than half an hour to get to Hogsmeade, the two following after him to watch the show make sure he didn't do anything stupid.
"I've never seen him so angry..." Lottie gasped seeing as he didn't even notice someone accidently shoving him, the red head led a straight charge to Scrivenshafts.
"Probably because Clipsey's there to calm him down..." Aslan sighed, gritting his teeth watching from a distance, entering the shop quickly after the red head.
Daniel was on a one track journey, why was he so mad? What did he even plan to do, he didn't even know, all he knew was that the idea of Colby and Eclipser being along together, that pissed him off.
"It's not like her hanging with Kevin or Aslan pisses me off..." He thought to himself before being pulled back by Aslan.
"HEY!"
"Daniel, just exactly are you planning on doing?" Lottie, asked pinching the bridge of her nose, despite being thoroughly entertained, they knew better than to let Daniel continue down his path of bad decisions.
"I-" He cut himself off, he really didn't know what his plan was, but the idea of her alone with Colby? Spending time doing things, she usually did with him? That pissed him off.
"Don't tell me you planned on going into the shop wands blazing! That's like a sure fire way to get banned from Hogsmeade, expelled and possibly into Azkaban..." Aslan winced discreetly taking the boys wand.
"A little incendio wouldn't have done all that..." Daniel muttered making Lottie's eyes bug out.
"A LITTLE WHA-" The girl started only to be interrupted.
"Was this a party I wasn't invited to?" Eclipser mused walking towards the group standing behind Daniel, shooting Aslan a wave and Lottie a raised eyebrow.
It had began to snow moments ago, and the evidence had landed in her hair, snowflakes shining like stars in her dark hair.
Aslan was sure his friend had stopped breathing as he stared at the girl.
"Daniel...?" Light mused tilting her head. The potion prodigy continued to stare at her, his face reddening at a concerning rate.
Aslan's brow furrowed. "I don't remember giving you my scarf..." he mumbled staring at the gray and green fabric around the Ravenclaws neck.
"Oh! It's Colby's, I forgot my scarf and he leant me his," She smiled. glancing at Daniel, no doubt trying to see if he would have a reaction, her luck and perhaps, Lottie's annoyance, he did react, a scowl forming on his lips.
"Where the hell is he then?" He muttered.
She shrugged. "Something, something, Fischer making a bad decision? I didn't pry. I'll return his scarf late- Daniel what are you doing-HEY!."
The red head had began to aggressively remove the scarf from his neck before throwing off his own and wrapping it around her.
"There." He huffed covering her up to her nose, the blue scarf leaving her only able to blink as he tossed the scarf away. "Much more warm, and now you won't be mistaken for an annoying Slytherin, no offense Aslan."
The blonde shrugged to amused by the scene to care.
"Why are you all here anyways?" Eclipser managed to say around the scarf which she was now snuggling into.
Lottie and Aslan both glared at Daniel, while the boy rubbed his neck in embarrassment, "Oh um... no reason, wanna go look at quills?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Eclipser walked of Cassandra joined her brother, holding hands with Winnie and furrowing her brow. "Why is that scarf on fire...."
"Long story..." Aslan sighed, "Hey, Cass, why were you and Daniel at the greenhouses the other day? Wait no...why did you let Daniel near your plants period?"
A smile tugged on the girls lips. "I'm afraid you'll have to wait for Christmas like everyone else."

The dreaded backstory (Aka I give Eclipser Trauma ;3 )
I actually wrote it. (Insert shocked pikachu face)
--
It was a rainy day in spring when the divorce was finalized, the hushed fighting behind closed office doors and apology cookies afterwards finally coming to an end.
It didn't take her long to understand that her life would change from here on out. Her parents wanted nothing to do with each other, at least her father didn't.
She learned the schedule by heart. The first two weeks would be with her mother, the next with her father.
Her mother would ask about her father, her life, and teach her about the creatures she adored and spells no child should learn. If she wanted something, the next time she saw her mother it would be on her bed, whether it was a stuffed animal she saw on a store, or a she saw pretty bracelet a random lady wearing, mentioning in passing that she liked. The four year old never thought to hard about it.
Her father would ask if she was happy, if her mother was up to anything suspicious, he taught her spells too, simple light spells and and how brooms worked, and when he noticed how clumsy she was, a couple of healing spells. He couldn't get her everything she wanted, but she never complained, after all, a way to a girls heart was food, and he could certainly cook. Her family wasn't traditional but she was happy.
--
Three months into the divorce, her mother started her into the forest, she'd talk about a specific creature, Eclipser would get excited and run around trying to find it, to her great luck her always did, be it a pixie, ashwinder, bowtruckle, the girl found a way.
Her mother would then start a game of hide and seek with her and the animal. She never did find them again. She regretted later not questioning why.
--
Six months into the divorce, Eclipser broke her mothers biggest rule. Waking up after a nightmare, she went down to the basement of their isolated house, and saw scene that made her question if she was still dreaming. A demiguise strapped to a table another sitting in a cage, as her mother shaved it's hair, jars of body parts, eyes, tails and more sitting in cages. Eclipser almost screamed, when she knocked over a box her mothers abnormal piercing gold eyes locked on her. Softening when she saw her daughter, she took the girl to bed telling her to keep the basement a secret or they'd be separated.
When she was with her father a week later, she was quiet. Not saying a word, realizing that maybe all the animals she'd been playing with, weren't just good hiders.
--
A year after the divorce, her mother barley hid it, she'd get Eclipser to lure in unsuspecting creatures and her mother would cast a simple sleep spell. Eclipser never questioned why she'd sometimes see her mother use a draught of living death instead. She didn't want to know.
--
A year and a half in, Eclipser was five, and she was an active participant, she feared a lot, she feared her sweet smiled mother, she feared the woman's 'friends' who had matching tattoos. They never hurt her, and always brought her chocolate, Eclipser always threw it out, she knew what they did, if her mother brought the items in, the men took them out.
She knew how to dissect harmless small creatures, she knew how to store parts so they wouldn't spoil, she knew how to cast Crucio in case of emergency's, she knew how to brew the living death draught, and she knew all her mothers go to spells.
She also knew what happened to any creature she tried to save, death before her very eyes. When her mother learned she could see thestrals, the woman only smiled and told her to keep that a secret too.
--
Two years in Eclipser finally snapped. Her mother took her six year daughter into the dark forest one night and made her find a unicorn. Her blood went cold, praying she wouldn't find one, but they did.
She closed her eyes in preparation, covering her ears hiding behind a tree. Her mother only pulled the girl back in front of her placing her wand in the little girls hand, like she did every time she taught the young girl.
"Elixir dear..." Her mother nickname for her. The child was like a solution to all her problems, her mother would always say, just like an Elixir.
"Remember the bright green spell? Crucio? I'm going to teach you another one, just like it, okay?"
Eclipser didn't hear her mother teach her the instant death spell, all she could think about was the unicorn in front of her and the wand in her hands. When her mother stepped back she turned, whispering the words in a quiet voice.
"Crucio..."
The minute she heard her mothers words she bolted, her shoes falling off her feet as she tripped, the cold of the wood clenched in her hand and she kept running.
When she found the road she knew how to get to her fathers house. She ran and ran, not stopping when adults questioned the sight of the lone crying girl.
Her father answered the door, seriousness crossing his face as he saw his little girl sobbing.
"I-hic-Daddy I'm sorry I didn't mean too-I-I-" She sobbed in her fathers arms as he picked her up and took her inside, telling her father everything. The man usually kind and composed was silent.
He shushed her and took her to bed, wrapping up her bruised and bloody feet taking her mothers wand from her hands. "It's okay..." He whispered. "Daddy will fix it all"
He only asked of her one thing.
Never tell anyone the part she played in her mothers crimes.
--
Her mother was sent to Azkaban for life, Eclipser never saw her after the night with the unicorn. She didn't know if she wanted to. She never saw the wand again either.
She was seven when her father brought a woman home, she was tall and lean with a stern face, furrowed brow.
The woman bent down to Eclipsers height, and said hello, smiling a smile so kind that Eclipser wasn't sure she would ever find one that would compare. Her name was Edith, a trinkets owner in Diagon Alley, a recently divorced woman who her father had grown fond of on his as of recent, frequent trips.
After the night she met her, Eclipser was certain that she would never meet a woman more lovely for her father than Edith.
--
Two months later, she met the twins. Casper and Callum, they were loud, rebellious 10 year old's, who pushed her around and teased her. She couldn't believe someone as sweet as Edith had sons as vile as them
It was in a trip to the alley however in a book store that she had finally come to tolerate their presence. She had dropped her stuffed Zouwu and a older boy had picked it up refusing to give it back, shoving the girl to the floor. She hadn't even realized they were there, until the temperamental Casper had broken the boys nose, and Callum helped her up picking the girl up with ease.
She watched as Casper scared the boy into keeping quiet and got her the toy back. They walked back to their parents and acted like nothing happened, asking for a bag of gummies each, and on the trip back, gave her the colors they knew she liked.
When she was tucked in by Edith that night, she had already accepted them as her brothers and Edith as her mother.
--
When Light was nine, she was finally sure she was happy. She would sit between her brother watching cartoons, as her father cooked dinner while her mother distracted him, accidently burning the eggs she was cooking, her niffler sat in her lap. She had named him Ardit after learning the rough translation to gold.
Casper would tease her and Callum would shove him away and then proceed to mess with her hair. She was happy, she was normal again. She didn't need to dwell on her nightmares, or the letters her mother would send her.
She was happy.
She was safe.
And when she finally got her Hogwarts letter, and befriended an eccentric girl with silver hair and a grumpy red head, she knew things would stay that way.
Oh how wrong she was...
--
Can't tell if this was worth the hype or not...
@desert-rotten-soul Does this answer questions?

Oh trust me, she doesn't get any *Wink*
OK I really need to write and post that backstory if I ever want to start writing plot....
Lost in thought (In which Eclipser is dense and Lottie and Ivy are Multi-shippers)
This is basically me not being able to ship my MC with just on person even after deciding to make Eclipser end up with Daniel and obsessing over jealousy fics. I think I have a problem...
"You look like a stalker." Ivy mused watching Lottie sketch Eclipser from a distance.
The subject of Lottie's current portrait was busy sitting on a windowsill reading a book, pen in hand occasionally writing things down, hair braided back, while baby hairs and smaller strands framed her face, leaning on her glasses.
"You'd be surprised how often I get that." Lottie replied hatching the space that was meant to be Eclipser's hair. Ivy plopped down beside her artist friend leaning onto her shoulder.
"You ever make couple art?" Ivy asked placing her chin in her hand. Lottie paused looking up and glancing at Ivy.
"Of who...?' She asked raising a suspicious brow.
Lottie recognized the smirk on the shorter girls face immediately. The one which always showed up when she was in a mischievous mood. "Oh you know...the seventh years, the kids who get into a new relationship every year...friends."
"I don't draw people in relationships Ivy, it's not right to put people together, when one might not be comfortable, the only couple art I make is of people in proper relationships and fictional characters." She said sternly.
Ivy let out a huff at Lottie's words, "Okay but that doesn't mean we can't talk about it right?"
Lottie closed her eyes, whether she was frustrated or she was considering it, Ivy couldn't tell, only giving a beaming smile when the artist begrudgingly agreed. Quickly becoming enthusiastic with their gossip until the topic came to their dear friends.
"Kevin and Robyn are hopeless, it's been four years and all they've done is hold hands!" Ivy groaned
"Well, I'm pretty sure their hiding something, no way Kev's suddenly started taking hints." Lottie shrugged continuing her sketch of Eclipser who still hadn't noticed her friends across the room.
Ivy blew hair out of her face looking down at the drawing. "What about Eclipser?"
"What about her?"
"I mean, who do you think she likes!" She grinned.
"I dunno..." Lottie hummed, "I don't think she's really into anyone, I mean she's pretty friendly to everyone, except of course Fischer and Cassandra, have you noticed the way she's extra hostile to her recently, it's like she has something personal against her now."
"Meh, Cassandra's a bi-" Ivy cut herself off as a group of first years passed. "Ehem, she's not someone I prefer to waste my time on but Winne keeps insisting that's she's a good friend so I suppose I can keep my mouth shut...for now..." She shook her head. "But that's not the point, I was talking to Miss Flume while buying some caramels, and when we were talking about Valentines chocolate she mentioned that one time she saw Eclipser zoning out staring at the heart candy boxes mumbling about what she should get."
Lottie tilted her head. "And that proves what exactly...?"
Ivy rolled her eyes. "That she likes someone! She obviously wanted to get chocolate for someone!"
"Mmmm she could have been getting it for herself. Like you always do." Lottie teased
"Really Eclipser? Getting HERSELF sweets?" Ivy shook her head with a snort. "Eclipser hates sweets, she hasn't even been able to enjoy chocolate since the whole Dementor incident. She had to have been getting them for someone!"
Lottie considered Ivy's words, darkening the lips on her drawing. "I suppose you could be onto something. Who though..."
Ivy's eyes shinned, "I thought you'd never ask!" Lottie had always wondered what was in the giant book bag Ivy carried around was for, she didn't exactly take notes in class with it, none that she knew of at least. It seemed she was finally given the answer as Ivy opened up the book spreading it across from them.
"A gossip journal?' Lottie giggled.
"You have your poison I have mine." She grinned flipping to a whole chapter seemingly dedicated to Eclipser.
"Why is there a chart...." She started glancing at a full page dedicated to a chart titled. 'Likeliness of Succeeding', with a leaderboard at the top.
Ivy cleared her throat. "Here we have a chart with all of Eclipser's possible suitors-"
"Suitors?" Lottie burst out laughing covering her mouth attempting to stifle her giggles when people looked their way.
"Yes! Suitors," Ivy huffed. "I made a column to document every chemistry igniting interactions, closeness on a scale from 1-10, and finally likeliness of Eclipser liking them back, the leaderboard shows who's most likely to end up with her with the current information!"
"How...much free time do you have..." Lottie asked scooting away slightly with a concerned stare.
"Not important!" The silver haired gremlin cheered.
Shaking her head Lottie read the names in order of the leaderboard. "Daniel...Abigail...Colby?' She shot a glance at Ivy before continuing, "Kenji...? Really?" She tilted her head "The fox one?"
"Her patronus is a fox!" Ivy giggled.
"This is...detailed." Lottie noted adding in Eclipsers patronus to her drawing, a magical touch in her opinion.
"Unless I've missed something, this is everyone our lovely friend has chemistry with."
"Ivy why am I on there-"
"EHEM!!! So far Daniel is in the lead for obvious reasons that everyone but them can see. Coming in strong in second place....ABIGAIL!"
For what seemed to be the third time everyone glanced at them, this time Eclipser raised her head as well in their direction, lifting and eyebrow with a half smile and a wave before going back to her book.
Ivy continued sheepishly. "It's obvious that Abigail has a crush on Eclipser, I mean, remember when they made strawberry cake for dessert and she gave Abigail her slice instead of me...COUGH totally not mad about that, the poor girl turned super red!"
"I can understand Colby I suppose, Eclipser's always nice to him at least, and he's been putting in extra effort to stop Fischer from annoying her, I saw them geeking out over poetry in the library last week.
Lottie paused for a moment. "And Kenji...?"
"Thought you'd never ask. Ok I'll be honest...there isn't exactly much here, he just kinda trusts her I suppose and he's always happy to talk to her, if anything he's more likely to end up with Kevin."
Leaning over to the side table, Lottie sipped her tea, "What were we talking about again...?"
Ivy paused. "Uhhhh...OH! Who Eclipser was buying chocolates for."
"Right...and based off all this data you've collected who did you think it was?"
"Oh well obviously-"
"None of your business" Eclipser huffed grabbing the pages from Ivy's notebook. With a hand on her hip holding the ripped paper, her book in the other.
Lottie and Ivy squeaked in response, Ivy's face falling at her hard work now removed from her journal. "We were just um-" Lottie stuttered.
"For the record, It's not Abigail or Kenji, Abby's sweet I don't really see her that way, and I barley know Kenji. This is a lot of information though...most of it just regular interactions..." Eclipser hummed reading over the paper before walking off,
"My notebook!" Ivy mourned running a hand over the ripped bit still in her book.
"Oh..." Lottie breathed.
"What?" Ivy leaned her head over to look at Lottie's drawing.
"I drew a cat instead of a fox...didn't even realize."
And just like that, floating around a sitting Eclipser in the drawing was a black cat playing with a nonexistent ball of yarn.
"Huh...maybe your leaderboard was right..."
(Ohhhh boy, this one was long...and kinda rambled off at the end, let me know if there are any mistakes, trying to improve my writing while rambling over HPMA OC lore...speaking off...should probably stop making so much ship stuff and get to writing her backstory) @desert-rotten-soul Have fun ^^

It's a bad idea(This one's fluff I swear...mostly)
In which Daniel realizes he does give special treatment, and that is Best Friend is an idiot.
"This is a bad idea." Daniel, said for the hundredth time.
"And you think this because?" Eclipser hummed retying her hair into the blue ribbon as they walked through the fields of Hogwarts towards the forbidden forests. For a place named 'Forbidden' people certainly went into it a lot.
"Because previous evidence shows that every time we sneak out, something bad happens, that usually ends with one of us getting hurt. Usually the one with zero self preservation. Also known as you." He huffed taking her ribbon from her and tying it himself after she failed to be satisfied with her attempts.
She only giggled pulling her robe closer to her chest as a breeze passed. "I should have worn the one with cats on it." She shivered.
Daniel only snorted at her statement as he held up the lantern leaning closer when they passed the first tree's of the forest. "You don't say?" He glanced at her current state, a thin robe over her nightgown, he was sure she would be freezing if it didn't have a layered skirt of long sleeves, thankful that for once he made a smart decision and wore his winter pajama's instead.
She only rolled her eyes. "I'm doing this for you y'know."
"I didn't ask you too, I had a better plan." Daniel huffed with an eye roll as he watched Eclipser stumble over a pebble.
"Your plan was to go into Knock turn alley, wands raised to buy your rare leaves." She huffed. "Their not rare leaves! And I had a less likely chance of getting hurt there!"
"Yes, because there was a higher chance of becoming a homicide case"
Daniel scowled but it quickly softened out after he took a breath. "Why are you doing this for me?"
The girl in question only smiled. "Because I wanted to." She shrugged. "And I didn't want to see you end up on the daily prophet as a headline."
Earlier that day, Daniel had made the mistake of telling her that he planned to go to Knockturn Alley to obtain a rare potion ingredient that Slughorn and Hogsmeade didn't have. This resulted in a horrified look from Eclipser, who instead insisted that she would go find it in the Forbidden Forrest instead. When she couldn't be persuaded out of her idea, Daniel reluctantly and stubbornly insisted he come with her. Using the whole Gridley experience in his favor so she couldn't say no.
"What happens if you see an Acromantula?" He smirked pushing some branch's aside.
She shivered this time not from the cold, "set it on fire!"
"In a forest?" He laughed only to be spoked by some fire flies.
"Did I stutter? Even I have a limit when it comes to creatures." Daniel proceeded to tease her for the next thirty minutes as they walked. To their great luck they managed to find what they were looking for and more without even a scratch. "Just don't touch the stem, it's covered in thorns." He told her gently, guiding her as she helped him harvest leaves. Biting her lip in concentration she reached out and managed to pluck a part of the plant successfully.
She cheered and Daniel smiled in response patting her head while standing up, she reached up and poked his cheek in response.
It was on their way back the issue started.
Yawning as they walked back the path to the school, they heard the casting of spells, followed by a distressed whinny, and then laughs of satisfaction.
Cautiously they hid behind bushes in the direction of the noises, finding the explanation for the noise. Two men in cloaks stood over a unicorn caught in a net with their wands out.
Daniel had read the headlines. They heavy amounts of creature trafficking spiking up once more in the past year, it was sick even someone like him who went crazy trying to get ingredients would never even dream of condoning this. It helped to see his best friends disgusted and horrified reaction every time she read the articles.
He quickly glanced over to said friend, Eclipsers glasses falling down her nose as her gaze locked on the scene. He could practically hear the thoughts coming from her head.
"No." He told her, placing his hand over hers. "We can report this to Hagrid later, it'll get taken care of and he probably won't give us detention."
"But the unicorn will still get hurt." She said through her teeth.
"Us getting involved might not stop this. In fact it could lead to us getting caught or another teacher finding out about this, or worse, us getting hurt."
"It's wrong." Her jaw clenched.
"Of course it is." He insisted pulling his arm over her shoulders to ensure she wouldn't run off.
The two sat quietly in the bushes watching as the men dragged away the unicorn, their eyes locked on the net and the bleeding creature.
One of the men's hands slipped of the next, giving the Unicorn a chance to cut the net with her horn and kick one of them back, galloping away in the opposite direction. The men cursed and the one still standing went to help his friend back pulling his sleeves back to asses the damage on the fallen wizards arm.
It was littered with tattoos, dark ink covering the length of the arm. Daniel was iffy on tattoos but thought they looked cool, he knew he'd probably end up getting one in the future, somewhere Esme wouldn't see of course.
Light's eyed widened as she saw the tattoos' a new wave of horror filling her eyes, but she didn't say a word, urging Daniel to leave and the two bolted out of the forest. Stumbling as they went.
Eclipser was silent when they got back to the common room, falling onto a blue sofa hands over her head. "Bloody hell." She whispered, ribbon finally coming lose.
Daniel set the baskets down and came to sit next to her. "That was still our safest sneak out yet."
He rubbed her arm, she wouldn't say it, but she wasn't okay. Her hands plastered over her face so he wouldn't read her.
"Your bleeding." Daniel said after a heart beat of scilence.
Her hands came down and she saw the gash on her leg, most likely from when they ran. "Oh..."
Almost immediately he sat up making her do the same and knelt in front of her, "Oh?" He huffed, making her pull the skirt of her gown up just above the gash, he reached into his jacket pulling out a small bottle of essence of dittany and bandages working quickly and diligently, calling her clumsy while she watched him work.
"You do this a lot." She hummed.
"You get hurt a lot." He replied.
"From duels." She insisted.
"Doesn't matter how."
"I have a whole shelf of these potions."
"Do you know?"
"Your brewed them for me."
He looked up at her. "I brew them for you." He repeated an unreadable expression in her eyes.
"20 bottles last time I checked, Ivy borrows them sometimes..."
His gaze went back to her leg. Ivy borrowed them...because he didn't make her a growing supply...he could make the excuse that it was because Eclipser dulled, but Ivy did too.
The mood had shifted from earlier that night. "How often do you use them."
"The answer would make you mad..." She chuckled.
"Probably." He agreed.
The room was quiet when he pulled back from her leg letting her set her skirt. "I'll change the bandage tomorrow." He told her, to lazy to get back on the couch, he leaned against it instead, letting her play with his hair and pick leaves out of it.
"Why did you make that look when you saw those tattoo's? On that guy I mean." He whispered.
She paused her actions and sighed. "It's nothing..."
It was definitely something, it had been something for a while, something she wasn't telling her friends. He couldn't just ask, she never forced him to vent, how could he force her?
So he didn't push, letting the topic drop. He was silent again when he went back to his room, thinking about that night.
20 bottles last time she checked huh?
Three thoughts came to him that night.
One, Eclipser would do the most reckless things for him and others, a chaotic idiot at her finest .
Two, He would always brew her potions, whether she asked or not, he would always have one ready even if he didn't realize.
Three, she was hiding something, and he would let her hide and if it was him she wanted to hide with...who was he to complain.
(Oh geez, longest thing I've written on here I think. Kind of fell apart at the end, but it's a mix of lore and fluff I guess)
Eclipser Lore comings soon?
@desert-rotten-soul Think you'll like this one...

It's Not the Same (Eclipser and Daniel)
It wasn't the same. She knew that much. Just because they both had mothers in Azkaban, didn't mean it was the same.
Kaleena, was a mom to Daniel, he loved her, she loved him. He missed her, visited her, there was love there. Emilie was not Light's mother, Edith was her mother, and Callum and Casper were her brothers, no matter what anyone told her, no matter what people believed, Emilie was not her mother.
A guilt ate away at her, hearing her best friend vent about missing his mom. She could speak up, tell him, tell her friends about this part about her, but she feared their reactions. She feared more than Daniel being hurt about her not mentioning the woman who could easily be cellmates with the mother he missed.
She feared the way they would all look at her.
Like a monster.
Because that was what she was wasn't she? Just like that woman her mother, she was a monster.
The spitting image of the woman in Azkaban, the one she deserved to be with. Spending the rest of their lives in misery together rotting away in a tower.
It wasn't the same. Kaleena wasn't a monster. Daniel wasn't a monster.
Had she lived, Kaleena would be freed after her sentence.
But Emilie would never be free.
And Eclipser deserved to rot with her.
@desert-rotten-soul (Hi! Really hope you don't mind the tag again...expect one more post for the day! RIP your notifs ToT)

Introducing Eclipser!
To start off this mini rebrand, I'd like to interduce you to my HPMA OC, Eclipser Hollow. A Half blood witch with more trauma than she needs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Art coming soon...maybe?)
Daughter of a respected Auror, and Step-Daughter a well known business woman. Also the daughter of a fantastic beasts trafficker.
A bright young witch with a connection and interest in magical creatures often nicknamed a Disney princess by her best friends, she adores many of the passive ones, and loves to watch them in the forbidden forest. She led many to their deaths and watched them die
Other than care for magical creatures, she excels at charms shown in her great dueling skills but can't make a complex potion to save her life, Daniel calls it a miracle she can even brew the basics. Yet she can make a drought of living death
She loves Thestral's and thinks their beautiful. She's seen many
Oh she's a Ravenclaw, who enjoys History of Magic, with a brain that's always thinking about something, enjoys trips to Hogsmeade, and enjoys her time most spent with a certain red head-
EHEM
Just a perfectly normal Half Witch.
Who just happens to know and Unforgivable Curse.
@desert-rotten-soul (Here's the tag I mentioned, hope you like her! ^^)

Demon in the Forest P2. The Young girl stared up at the tall man before her, he was a man nothing like the little moon had ever seen, for starters he was floating a kind of red hue surrounding the two. The Man silently observed the girl, not sure what to make of the strange situation.
"Y-you have horns" The girl said startled staring at the twisting corns on the mans head"
Surprised the man touched the top of his head realizing that he indeed did have horns. It was then the man had gave a glance to the river beside the two eyes widened at his appearance. Moon stared at the mans expression, it was not quite as much horrified as it was interest, his thoughts a mess of confusion and questions before suddenly being cut off.
'You can hear my thoughts' The man mused in his head.
unsure of what to do the girl nodded in surprise.
The man grinned.
"I foresee this is the start of something beautiful"

Demon in the Forest Part 1. A lone girl sat in the middle of a dark forest, The 2 of the moons light floating above her, tears fell from her eyes , scared alone her mothers whereabouts unknown. All she could do was sit and cry in the dead of night a river shore beside her she could hear the eerie hum of forest animals thoughts in her head none helping her rest. As she waited her cries stopped due to her lack of energy yet she remained awake waiting for someone to find her as she waited she saw something come up from the river, a bracelet of sorts she waited for a few minutes as if to see it do something after another moment of waiting the girl got up and grabbed it examining it as best a 4 year old can before placing it on her hand, though no one saw her eyes flashed red and before her appeared a man.
"CLEARSIGHT!" He yelled he then realized he wasn't with this Clearsight. He looked down and saw a child, a child with silver streaks in her hair.
"And who might you be" the man asked.
"M-my name is Moonwatcher, wh-who are you"
The man grinned, "My name is Darkstalker"
