Short little imagine

So I saw a TikTok of this beautiful young fuller bodied woman being harassed to get on a scale to weigh herself so that the guys could most likely humiliate her. But I wanted to write a scenario with this kinda idea and idk why but I love the idea of sniper being a feminist man and drinking his respect women juice cause it’s what his foster parents taught him.

Sniper x fem!reader (romantic/platonic) im leaving it open ended and the weight can be interpreted based on your preference whether you are lighter or heavier set (all bodies are beautiful <3)

So imagine being one of the only female mercs. Maybe there is another female merc or just women in town in general. But you walk in to the other guys having a discussion and while passing by hear a bit of the conversation focusing on female figures. They start laughing and making inappropriate comments about hourglass figured stereotype “attractive” females. They either start ranking female mercs or discussing the slutty bimbos in town and overhear a comment judging your figure (eg. too big, too skinny, too muscular…) and become visibly upset. However sniper who had been on the outer edge of the room and conversation seems annoyed with the topic and notices your visibly being upset. Immediately he starts getting defensive and telling the other guys off to the point he’s yelling loudly and threatening to fight someone about the topic. As soon as he gets his point across you lock eyes for a split second before he storms off.

I might make this into something later 🤷‍♀️ lmk what you guys think because I’m always nervous to write on topics like this because I don’t want to offend anyone

Toxic Masculinity Traits of the Mercs

I feel like causing some controversy and chaos :) 

Scout : Huge ego (enough said) I don’t necessarily think Scout is secretly insecure and hides it behind ego but that he just matures over time. He still has a big ego though and will let you know on a daily basis that he is the best and you should feel grateful that you have someone like him as a bf

Sniper : Neglectful. He isn’t a recluse in a sense, he will spend time with you but its more of a matter in getting him to be involved or interested in anything you do. He minds his business and thinks that if it doesn’t affect him in any way that he shouldn’t really care about it. 

Spy : Narcissistic. He plays victim a lot of the time - definition of “poor me, so sad for me” - and will guilt trip you into bending over backwards for him. Thinks he deserves even though he has no real higher rank or title. White rich man privileges. 

Soldier : Racist. It is evident in the comics that he believes anyone who isn’t pure blooded American is a communist (even though he ends up engaged to Zhanna). 

Engie : Old fashioned? I put this gently and it may only offend feminist but he believes women shouldn’t have to work and that they should stay at home and only be expected to have to cook/clean/etc.. But I men it’s engie guys...he means it in the nicest way possible. It’s his old southern roots. (for those who identify as male or GN you can substitute being female to being “scrawny” or unfit for active duty?)

Demo : Aloof. He is a drunk and often is very dismissive of serious topics or others concerns. He is too easily accepting and doesn’t really voice any kind of opinions. It can be kind of frustrating when you want him to actually show concern. 

Medic : God Complex. He often gets too invested in his experiments and believes his purpose is to be superior to everyone around him. This also causes him to be kind of dramatic, whether this be him being super egotistical and putting himself on a higher pedestal than the rest of humanity or having super rough low points where if he doesn’t succeed he believes he has no worth. 

Heavy : Unoriginal. (not necessarily unoriginal but idk how else to explain it) Because of language barriers be can be a little frustrating when you want to get his opinion on something. Often times he doesn’t want to translate or he just doesn’t care enough to argue about something even if he disagrees. 

Pyro : Overbearing. He/They can be a little overwhelming sometimes. They have good intentions but when it comes down to it, when you honestly need some personal space, you wont get that with him/them.

Trying to find Pyro x Reader content that doesn’t perceive them as an actual child and write them as a menacing adult who is capable of more than tea parties and stuffed animals…

Like srsly. Y’all are SKIMPING on the opportunity to make this character have real potential and depth. I want to see more in pyro. Idk who started the whole “they being an innocent baby thing” like I get pyro vision but let’s give the character a bit more depth than just making that their whole personality?

Okay but pyro being more of a menace and acting like Deadpool. Like he makes humorous commentary and breaks the 4th wall and is obsessed with childish things. It’s the perfect balance between menacing chaotic behavior and the little innocent cannon side…👀

Scout: a scar on the knee from running into a fence in P.E. Class in middle school

Sniper: a scar on the finger from pinching it in the sliding lock of a public bathroom stall door

Spy: scar from stitches on the left side of bottom lip after biting a hole through it from tripping over a rug while trying on new boots

Pyro: a v-like scar on the knuckle from cutting it open with scissors while not paying attention during a project

Medic: losing a sense of feeling in the right side of my mouth after the dentist nicked a nerve while taking my wisdom teeth out

Demo: a scar from stitches on the bottom of my chin after being run into a wall by a friend on a scooter thing in preschool

Soldier: a scar from a badly skinned knee after slide tackling someone in soccer on a terf field in 98* weather

Heavy: a slightly disfigured clavicle from breaking it while once again body checking someone in soccer

Engie: stiff fingers on right hand after breaking them while flipping over a bike
