I'm not the most superstitious person here, that's for sure. One that I plan on doing would be lead or tin pouring. Though I may use wax so it's a bit safer. You melt tin or wax in a spoon over a candle then pour it into cold water. You use the shape to guess the fate of the new year.

I may ask some of the others to join me since it's fun....

Kartoffelklösse should be a nice appetizer to bring. I'll have to make more than I usually would but it's not a problem. I can make ham ones and sauerkraut ones. I'll label them so no one grabs the wrong type.

He reaches between his bed and the wall and pulls out his other stuffie, Miss Kitty. He then tucks both Salem and Miss Kitty into his bed. Adel giggles and points at them as he turns to face Helena]

I can easily ask around to see if anyone's missing their gun if you don't tell me kleiner Knabe.

[Nurse glances down at the gun before sighing heavily. He pinches the bridge of his nose as he takes a few moments. He runs his hand through his hair while sighing again before speaking.] Medic... Whose gun is that? I know it's not yours, so whose is it?

[Nurse knocks on the door to infirmary before entering, not bothering to wait for an answer since it was technically his work place as well. He had his apron, collar, and sleeves taken off, appearing more casual] Medic, come here. I made you food. Kartoffelpuffer.

[The lights are off. The infirmary is quite dark.]

[Nurse sighs before turning the lights on. He blinks a few times as his eyes adjust to the change in lighting. Nurse sets the plate of food down on a nearby surface. He puts his hands on his hips and stares right back at Medic] Medic, the lights are supposed to stay on if someone is in the infirmary, including us. Turning it off gives the impression that no one is in here.

[Nurse knocks on the door to infirmary before entering, not bothering to wait for an answer since it was technically his work place as well. He had his apron, collar, and sleeves taken off, appearing more casual] Medic, come here. I made you food. Kartoffelpuffer.

Don't tell Medic, but he worries me. I mean this lovingly as he is my boss or supervisor or whatever, but wow he's fucked up. He's still sweet though. He treats those doves as his children for fuck's sake. Insane, but sweet.

I should make him a snack so he doesn't pass out in the infirmary again.

[Nurse claps his hands excitedly and giggles. He takes Husky's hand and begins dragging her inside] Come! We should go to the infirmary!! You don't mind being cut open, do you? I'd love to sample your organs! I want to know just how much of your body is human and how much is a dog!!

Hallo? I have heard your name once or twice in passing and, sorry if I come off as strange but... You peak my curiosity. I mean, you have real ears and a tail. It's just so fascinating. [As he's speaking, Nurse is circling her. His gaze is one of fascination and curiosity]

Husky follows his gaze and her tail starts to wag

“You are interested??? Really???”

She holds his hands, being careful not to scratch him with her claws

“You are the nurse right??? How did you get your tail and ears???? They are so so so cool!!! Did it hurt???? Did you get a vivisection too??”

Really?! You mean it?! Oh this is amazing! I haven't had a willing patient in so long!! [Nurse's tail wags wildly as his grin grows impossibly larger. The rumors of him being Medic's son were making a bit more sense now] Can I take some of your blood to examine it? I would love to see how your DNA works!! Oh and how you were able to grow ears and tail with fur!! I have seen some attempts but they never grew fur!!
