I always found the names people use for parents/creators interesting in Cybetronian fanfic! I like the terms you came up with and how they represent the emotional aspects needed in growth rather than a physical role. It reminds me of how conjunx/amica endura tells about a relationship to a bot with the same physical act (both have to do with bearing ones spark but for different reasons). Personally, I always used carrier/sire as neutral terms, with sparks that are born to a carried or bonded relationship using them; the one who physically carried the spark is the carrier, with sire/sires being others involved in the sparklings creation. As gender has no meaning to cybertronians, and every bot can carry a spark, it's about their role to the sparkling. I've also used caretaker or creator for newbuild or adopted sparklings, but I really like your terms instead of general "creator" and may adopt them into my stories too if that's okay!

And yes, Almatonia and Adserodux were always more of an emotional need than any kind of physical. The way my Cybertronian reproduction works is that any bit could get a newborn spark attached to their exterior plates or interior plates, and the sparkling would then leech off nutrients to grow. The sparks commonly seen doing this are spark bonded ones, where two or more bots will merge their sparks and there is a chance of a new one breaking off from that union.

So in Cyberaligned a carrying bot could be Adsero for example! The terms are meant to be used in the most diverse ways, because just like your story gender has no meaning for Cybertronians!

And yes! You can 100% use these terms in your own story! I actually highly encourage it! Anything lore wise from Cyberaligned is free to use, because not everyone is going to have time to sit down and build out entire languages, biology, culture, etc. So if you like the terms, use them!

Cody's college life involves studying for class, jumping into rivers for labs, caffeinated library sessions, and supporting his roommate at all of his sports events.

Meet Nelson!

He has a big role to play in the second chapter of Cyberaligned's side story, The College Life. Him and Cody were randomly paired for being roommates, and the pair hit it off. Nelson formed a quick friendship with Cody, Priscilla, Frankie and Frankie's roommate Cynthia.

From Auburn, Maine, Nelson had a love for hockey. His father played the sport as well, inspiring a young Nelson to pursue it throughout his life. His time on the ice led to his athletic scholarship to the University of Maine, where he studies Chemistry.

Life on Cybertron

After the war its quieter. The cities have been rebuild, bots are moving on with life. Some things change, somethings remain the same.

Quickshadow had her small apartment in Iacon, her work as a spy never really done. It was quiet, the weather in Iacon rainy on occasion. That remained the same.

What changed her solitude was Heatwave. His travels from Rescue City slowly became routine for them. A break from spy work, and a break from teaching.

As the acid rain pattered down on the windows and streets below, the two shared highgrade and chattered into the night.

Prewar, Orion Pax and Megatronus were friends. Together the two worked to promote Megatronus's plan for a new Cybertron, a place where a bot could be who they wanted. The revolution was near, working caste bots growing restless. Those who had spent eons slaving away for the upper castes, turned their audials to this new powerful voice.

But as power grows, morals corrupt.

The renowned gladiator and scribe that Orion Pax knew was slowly descending into a tyrannical leader. The once philosopher king, corrupted by his own criticisms.

Even before the final council plea, Orion knew his friend was gone. He could see it in his optics, the slow corruption.

The day of the Council hearing, was that final strike of the gavel. As Megatron declared his idea to overthrow the old guard, revolt against the Iacon Council, and place himself as Cybertron's new ruler, Orion lost him.

The promised philosopher king was no more.

A new one was needed.

Orion's approach to the center sealed the two bot's fates.

Orion's speech to the council was filled with optimism for a new future for Cybertron. A new era of peace, of autonomy. While a violent revolution wasn't ideal, it would be something that happens if the Council does not change. Orion promised that it would come, but offered ways for the Council to avoid it.

Megatron faded into the background as Orion spoke, his more pacifist stance resonating more with the Council. As Orion finished his speech, he turned to face the former gladiator. Sorrow filled Orion's optics, as rage filled Megatron's.

Megatronus was Megatron, Orion Pax was Optimus Prime

Megatron was betrayed, Optimus Prime was sparkbroken

Megatron was enraged, Optimus Prime was optimistic

Megatron was a Decepticon, Optimus Prime was an Autobot

Megatron was the tyrannical leader, Optimus Prime was the philosopher king

Memorials

With Cybertron's rebuilding, bots needed a place to mourn those who they had lost. A place of peace and comfort.

Autobot, Decepticon, Neutrals/Civilians, and the Rescue Bots all got their own wall of names. As the number of losses were counted, the walls grew, never seeming to end.

The only one to remain done to the present was the Rescue Bot Memorial. The massacre killed them all, only sparing those who had already left for either side of the war. As the roster of Rescue Bots, recruits and bots alike, were carved into the wall, their inner energon was added with, fading for those who had died. The ones who glowed were still alive, showing the stark loss of the fraction.

No team remained fully lit, besides Sigma 17.

Cody finally finds a bot partner

Hound and Cody team up in Cyberaligned to be a part of Maine’s wildlife Game Wardens! With Hound’s tracking abilities and Cody’s love and knowledge of Maine’s natural environment, the two make a perfect wilderness search and rescue team, while also protecting Maine’s wildlife.
