Mnemos (Btow/Linked-Universe Au)

So, who is he?

He is Link other personality, sleeping in the back of their shared mind. The name of Mnemos came into life with the idea of The Oracle of Secrets; Farore and the literal traduction of the word referring to memory because he didn’t wanted to be called “Champion” or “Prodige”.

Breath of the Wild Au :

 He is often lapsed in darkness and cannot help Link as much as he would have wanted. Mnemos can in a few occasions :

Try to shield Link from nightmares, leaving the man waking up confused feeling like someone gently pet his hair.

Help Link retrieve memories in key places, not always with the best timing he’d admit.

Would bring back Link whenever the man lost consciousness while not being in a safe place. 

In rare situation while being pissed off he would suddenly hit the nearest object in his range, startling the hell out off Link, his interlocutor and even himself. That is how he understood Link could feel his moods but couldn’t always contain them as well as he used to. (Or where Link has little to no filter.)

At first he was confused, his last memory was painted in pain, blood, guardian, laser beams and cries of the princess. 

By the way he understood it, he was dead. Then in days, weeks he became aware of his surrounding. Mnemos couldn’t move or manifest himself in any way while Link discovered Hyrule, he couldn’t even communicate with others spirits or Link. 

He was trapped in his own body. The thought didn’t terrified him that much surprisingly. Even if he didn’t figured out how he would interact with Link at first, he wasn’t worried because unlike him in his journey, Link wasn’t completely alone. 

Mnemos started feeling responsible of Link, trying to slow the reckless Hero in his most dangerous ideas. Without much success most of the time, leading to shield-surfing down several cliffs and others like trying to tame a golden Lynel only in briefs. The time where this wild child would actually listen to him was tied to food. Always food, only food and it drove Mnemos absolutely nuts.

Linked-Universe Au :

Wild got hit by a weird wizzrobe and at first he didn’t feel off. Mnemos had blacked out before meeting the eight heroes, he had just recovered from their battle against the Calamity and had gone silent for a few months.

A few hours after the battle, Wild grew increasingly dizzy and fell over suddenly struggling to breathe. Twilight was the first at his side trying to help, followed by Hyrule, Sky and soon the others. He could only distance himself of a few feet before the curse took form in a blinding light.

Two bodies got trowed in the dirt of the path, Wild, knocked unconscious from the shock and Mnemos awakening from nothingness completely lost. While the heroes were processing what the actual fuck just happened, Mnemos, registered them as threats for Wild and kicked Warrior’s chin stealing a dagger in the same time.

His appearance is like a mirror of Wild’s but some injuries didn’t heal, curiously. He is also younger because he didn’t age since his death. So Mnemos is like 15, soon to be 16 (yeah I’m a sucker to the fact that Zelda would be older than him in BotW) while Wild is 19.

It seemed fitting for the grand finale of the series to be an umbrella pride dragon to represent the community as a whole.  If you identify as part of the LGBT+ community in any way at all, this one’s for you :)

BNHA D&D classes? (basically just “thinking out loud” here)

Everyone’s been making the joke that this

is their D&D campaign, and I was talking to a friend about making a thing of it. Midoriya, Ochaco, Iida, Todoroki, and Bakugo playing D&D, and then maybe having the others appear as NPCs in the game. idk who would be the DM. Trying to think of what their classes would be tho (I only have experience with 5e).
