Got a hot date and want soft kissable lips? ;)
This lip exfoliator will do you wonders and get you all the boys. The brown sugar is meant to exfoliate your lips while the honey and olive oil moisturize. Simple as that! Enjoy!
XOXO

Espresso Italiano
Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii
One of the most deliciously creamy (soy!) cappucinos I've had, on the shady patio of Espresso Italiano, tucked away off the main tourist drag of Maui's Lahaina. I feel like there's a little bit of destiny behind this place - visited multiple times by us during our trips here, it's the only espresso place on Maui that's run by an actual Italian. It happened to be across the street from where we were staying, but further, upon handing the owner one of our debit cards, we realized that we share the same last name. (On her insistence, we're now investigating if we're related.) Family trees aside, they've got a delicious iced coffee and AMAZING house made pastries (think chunky, marzipan-y, roasted almond crumbly cake), and its round-the-clock lineups out the door prove my point that a good, old fashioned Italian espresso joint has a place in every city.

Checklist when you come to the newest addition of 49th Parallel on Main:
Come for the doughnuts, stay for the atmosphere.
Count as many Macs as you do empty plates, decorated with crumbs and smeared raspberry filling (the plates, not the Macs).
Stroll down Main.
Buy art supplies up the street.
Start a conversation.
Spark your creative streak.
Have a happy Sunday. Check at least 3 of the above and it's guaranteed. That's the magic of Main.

Pirates and Coffee. Living like a local.
Trade in green mermaids for red stamps. Cut out the frivolous. Steal a spoon just to prove you could totally survive out on the sea with an eyepatch and some loot, you wench you. This isn't recommended though. Just put it back with the rest of the dirty spoons.

Seriously wicked espresso, and topped off with a wicked tattoo. After a spell of "why didn't I think of that?", and after being urged by my barista not to order my espresso to-go (because the paper cup will rid it of the lovely crema), I tasted the 100% Maui grown "Mokka" which is downright wonderful, if you ask me. It's the cocoa, not chocolate, flavour, characteristic to Hawaiian coffee, that I specifically love. The boldness and strength of a sweeter-flavoured coffee is not very common, and one that makes a delicious espresso. Needless to say, I brought a bag home with me. Side note: Though known for its coffee, this place sells other awesome foods too! It's kind of like a (very) mini Whole Foods, except everything actually follows the 100-mile rule.

Tucked into the bright houses and now quirky ambience of Strathcona, this was the perfect pitstop after a day of photographing chipped paint, strangers' kids, and cute Asian men strolling out of China Town. The coffee was great, the pastries were sugary, but the best part? The Wilder Snail doubles as a health corner store filled with organic, local, natural goodies. I even got me some peppermint Dr. Bronner's. Now that's a cafe!

So the coffee cups look like dented plastic cups (but they're ceramic) and the water cups are cleaned out mason jars. Love at first sight or what?
