Percy: Hey Nico, have you put any thought into the sort of wedding you’d have?
Nico: No, but I’ve planned my funeral.
Percy: Why would you do that?
Nico: Getting married isn’t guaranteed, but dying is.

I’m delighted to post this little fanart for @malmuses‘ wonderful Pride fic, “In Your Own Time.” Not only is it exceptionally well-written as usual, it’s sweet and more complex than your average Pride fic. I’m just grateful Mal lets me intrude on her work all the time :D
There’s a lot of negativity in the world right now, and I hope that you guys have a happy and safe Pride nonetheless. You are loved.
(Please don’t repost, and if you liked our work, feel free to tip me or Mal :D)

I’m also not saying John Mulaney should have a voice in the PJO Series… but I just thought about Blackjack with John Mulaney’s voice and i haven’t stopped crying in laughter.
Idk if this needs to be a thing… but can yall read Blackjack’s lines in John Mulaney’s voice??
#i would also accept him as the narrator#disneyadaptpercyjackson#percy jackson#Percy Jackson and the Olympians#pjo#Rick Riordan#John Mulaney

(Spoilers) I hated Steve’s ending in Avengers: Endgame. Dont @ me.
Dont get me wrong here, I love Steve Rogers so much and I loved endgame.
But Steve’s ending felt so out of character for him? Like? I cannot physically imagine why hed leave Bucky like that. They dont have the same connection anymore. Now Steve has lived his entire life and bucky still hasnt gotten the chance, and, if Steve went back to the 70’s, Bucky would have already sustained roughly thirty years of torture from hydra. The Steve we’ve grown to know would have n e v e r let that happen. And I’ve seen some people say like “oh but bucky knew!! He was happy for him!!” Does this look happy to you? Hes not happy at all (pictures). And yeah, he knew, when Steve said “dont do anything stupid until I get back…” which is exactly what bucky said when he went out to war and got captured for the first time. He didnt come back. If you listen closely when Bucky replies with “how can I? You’re taking all the stupid with you..” hes choked up. Probably not trying to cry in front of his best friend. It’s not okay. Marvel destroyed my boys for a motive in the Falcon WS TV show. And once again, I cannot stress this enough 1) I liked endgame, it was really good 2) Steve is my favorite avenger, I’ve studied his character significantly and I’m very certain that this was out of character for him 3) I adore chris evans. Hes an amazing actor and I appreciate everything hes done for the mcu. 4) I just feel like Steve’s ending wasnt very well written or played out. It seems like they only focused on Steve’s relationships from The First Avenger, and no other Captain America movie. They really did bucky dirty imo. I feel like Steve shouldn’t have done what he did because it didnt set right with me and from what I saw, alot of other people. He completely abandoned the life he had been living for awhile now, his friends, his new family, the technologyhes gotten accustomed to, the food, etc.. And also took away from peggy? She had a husband and kids. Not once did Steve mention he had kids with her. So he took Peggy’s old life away to be with her, and Left bucky and sam. Steve also has been living in the present for long enough to get used to everying, he cant just calmly go back and live in the 70’s with everything he knows is going to happen in the present. (Also Steve’s worst fear is the war ending and he would rather live through his worst fear than live a normal life with the people he knows now, but ok. That’s a rant for another time) It really doesnt seem like something he’d do, honestly. Steve is a very selfless person, and it just felt very selfish on his part. I just feel like Steve could have gotten a way better ending if it was written properly.
