okay so the first guy is smiling, clearly a public figure, has to be charming, funny, captivating. the media.

the second man is the dictator. imponent, full attire. feared and respected. represents politics.

the third man is wearing a militar uniform, with all the medals, he's clearly a militar leader. but he's also cuffed to a suitcase, probably with money, he could also be representing the economy.

the fourth man is dressed very plainly, all in one colour, and has some symbol around his neck. maybe a religious symbol. he represents religion. he also has a confused expression, different to the smile or severity of the other men's faces, im not sure what that could mean.

in the background we see the secretary, not looking at the camera.

Heyoo, im making another little post about my side blogs because I've been pretty active with them the past week or so and thought others might be interested <3

@babysmosh is a blog dedicated to Smosh and all their channels (i mostly watch pit and smosh mouth) :) I want to post more clips and other memes, so if you're into that head over there

@teenagemcr is a My Chemical Romance blog, which with this new tour announcement is going to be jam-packed with all sorts of theories and mcr5 manifesting. I've just posted an essay on there today about the tour and mcr5 soooo if you wanna hear my thoughts then go aheeeaaaddd.

With this tour announcement, it does make me believe that foundations of decay is the first song to a new album. Totally speculating but I think that mcr5 was supposed to be released during their last tour but because covid impacted their ability to tour and have their promo all lined up, they scraped the release until they could properly tour without further delays. Maybe even so that everyone can be there rather than just the ones willing to risk it with covid.

If you go back and listen to/ read the lyrics of fod now with the added context of this new tour trailer, fod makes a lot more sense. If the DRAAG/Dictator is forcing the black parade to play, then fod screams of rebellion against those wishes, right? Like a cry after being awoken from a long slumber.

Let our bodies lay. Against faith, against all odds, against change we are free. Free because of death. The Black Parade is free in death, comforted by laying in the foundations of decay. They sing of their comfort in death.

But the song ends with the phrase, 'Get Up Coward'. The DRAAG/Dictator ordering them back for more. He stands upon the hill and dreams of all the battles won.

I think there's a lot more to it if you pick the song apart. And to me it screams of an introductory song to this new lore.

It also makes me believe that an album exists and has existed for many years now but has been kept quiet to be able to release it at a time unaffected by a global pandemic.

This album would have been in line for Trump winning the 2020 election, but just so happens to work now since he actually won 2024.

Y'all mcr5 already exists and it's coming, I feeeeeel it

Lets Talk: The Woman Dressed Like Gerard

She's the dictators wife. During the last tour Gerard dressed up as Jackie Kennedy and Princess Diana at separate points, both the wives of important political figures.

I believe that MCR is writing a new story set in the newly revealed world of DRAAG*, and I haven't figured out how this wife fits into that, but between Gerard's obsession with the Kennedys and the fact that she is the only woman featured in the video, I believe that her story and perspective will be important; or the entire story will be from her perspective (probably played by Gerard onstage).

*The country is named after the art of gender performance.
