Jasmin doesn't know how to interpret Jonas' good deed Jonas offers his help to his beloved Jasmin, who is stressed because of the announcement. But she gently declines. Jonas withdraws disappointed, until a chance falls into his lap in the form of a well known video blogger to impress Jasmin. He actually manages to get the blogger to accompany him to Jasmin. Too bad that Jasmin doesn't recognise the blogger.

Jonas earns himself a kiss from Jasmin Jasmin apologies to Jonas after she realises the chance she let slip by dismissing the blogger. He generously forgives her and offers his help once again to try and persuade the blogger of the favour. Jasmin actually gets her second chance with the blogger and Jonas gets the thanks he was hoping for: a kiss from Jasmin.

Katrin and Jasmin compete for a man As Katrin & Maren meet Dr. Frederic Riefflin again in a restaurant , Katrin realizes for the first time how attractive he is. Reluctantly she starts to flirt with him a bit - not suspecting that Frederic, shortly thereafter, has a dramatic encounter with another woman: her daughter Jasmin.

Katrin and Jasmin unfortunately have the same taste in men

Jasmin can't get her encounter with Frederic out of her head and is encouraged by Sunny and Emily to look for him on the internet. Meanwhile the charming doctor also meets Katrin again and he invites her to dinner. While Katrin likes Frederic more and more, Jasmin finds out that he's in the MW, not knowing that he is on a date with her mother...

Jasmin and Katrin are unknowingly into the same man

Katrin has to cancel her date with Frederic because of her job. As a result, Jasmin doesn't catch the two, but only meets Frederic. It doesn't take long before she feels close to him and she is completely enchanted by the charming man as if she's known him a long time. Frederic seems to feel the same and the two spend a funny and very romantic evening together. At the same time, Katrin decides to go on the offensive towards Frederic. Are mother and daughter falling in love with the same man?

Jasmin and Emily are under pressure: The buyer of the big fashion chain to which Jasmin submitted her collection to, for a competition, wants to see the results a day earlier than expected. In the hectic preparation for the presentation, Emily and Jasmin clash when Jasmin prefers to listen to the advice of Sophie. When Jasmin tells Emily that she is pissed at her for making a little mistake, Emily sees red - right in front of the buyer...

Emily does not want Sophie to join Tussi Attack

It looks as though Emily's outburst has thrown Jasmin from the competition, but then Sophie calculatedly convinces the buyer to give Tussi Attack another chance. The three happily celebrate their victory and Jasmin and Emily reconcile. But only until Jasmin offers Sophie a chance to become part of Tussi Attack and even offers her shares in the label. Emily is outraged and begin fighting again because she thinks that this is more than unfair...

After Sophie was able to convince the buyer to give Tussi Attack one more chance, the girls celebrate their victory & Emily and Jasmin reconcile

Katrin learns who Frederic's new flame is. Anni can not forgive Chris.

While Jasmin enjoys her happiness with Frederic, she has no idea that Katrin has not let go of the thought of Frederic. As he makes clear to Katrin that he has no interest in her, Katrin wants to put him behind her, but then also learns the bitter truth... As Anni learns of Chris's refugee initiative, she is skeptical at first, because she has still not forgiven him because of Amar. But Tayfun makes it clear that Chris's action is still cool, and Anni decides without further ado, to help him with a spontaneous concert. Chris is very delighted and takes it to be a forgiving sign, but after the concert is finished he encounters Anni and realises that she will never forgive what he did...

Even if Katrin doesn't want to admit it to herself, the fact that her daughter is dating the man she likes too, bruises her ego. When Jasmin wants to talk and clear the air Katrin reacts stroppy and offends Jasmin...

Recap of Ep 5714 (30.03.15)

Previously on GZSZ...the teen version of the Scooby gang protested outside the MW against Gerner for reasons I don’t really care to find out about and Jasmin is still away in Hamburg...

Ep 5714

We open at the apartment with Elena yelling into the bathroom at Nele asking her if she wants something to eat. Hilariously, Anni comes running out of her room like “Did you call me?” HAHA! Elena tells her she was yelling at Nele and Anni turns around to go back to her room but Elena stops her. She tells her that people who want to go out drinking should always eat something first. AWWW Elena has turned into the “Mom” of the house.

Anni thinks that it’s a good idea because Nele is probably going to want to party REALLY hard and tells Elena that she’ll be right back and runs back to her room. Just then who should come walking back through the door?! JASMIN!!!!!!  We missed you Jasmin! Thank God you’re back! NEVER leave us again!!!!!!!!!

Elena runs over and hugs Jasmin, telling her that Nele will be so excited she made it back in time. Jasmin tells her that she brought them all their outfits to wear and grabs her Mary Poppins bag. Elena asks her how Hamburg was and if she has a lot of contacts now and knows all the trends. Jasmin laughs and says “Pretty much, yes”. Jasmin hands over a hot pink tshirt to Elena that says “Tussi to Marry. Kissing for Money”. Elena asks if maybe Mesut and Tayfun would also wear these shirts and Jasmin agrees that they would definitely look really nice on them. Just then Anni comes bounding out of her room and stops dead in her tracks when she sees Jasmin.

They greet one another and there’s an awkward pause for a second as they look at each other. I think at this point they are both unsure as to how they should proceed. 

Jasmin does a good job here deflecting the situation by telling Anni that she made her a tshirt too and turns back to grab it from her giant Mary Poppins bag. Anni’s shirt is actually the reverse colours of the other girls shirts and I have to say it looks pretty cool. Her’s says “Ich kenn die Tussis nicht”, which translates to “I don’t know these Tussi’s” BWAHAHA! Perfect for Anni. Anni takes the shirt, laughing and tells her that it’s cool. They then share another moment.

Feel that. It’s that TEAM RUHSE chemistry back in action baby!

Jasmin ends up breaking Anni’s gaze and I’m just sitting at home yelling at my TV for them to just KISS already!!! Anni steps forward and says “Hey” and hugs her. It’s like she’s saying, here’s my proper hello. Naaaaw...we’ve missed this.

Even Elena in the background is a sailor on this ship. After the hug, Jasmin is smiling but you can still see sadness behind it. 

Cut to the cafe later and the party has already started. We jump straight into a mini photo shoot montage with Elena, Nele and Jasmin all posing and Anni taking pictures of them. Nele asks Anni if she’s gonna join in or what, and Anni tells her that she’s in, but she doesn't want to be in any pictures nor does she want them to breathe a word of this to anyone #classicAnni 

Jasmin then grabs a tiara and puts it on Nele’s head, telling her it’s so the men know who to kiss. I love the face Anni pulls when she does this.

Nele knows Anni too well because she immediately looks at her and says “One more stupid comment and you have to wear the crown” BWAHAHAHA! Anni tells Nele to enjoy tonight because from tomorrow her name will be Yildiz. Nele tells them all that they still have to call her Miss Lehmann tonight though. Elena hands Nele a glass of champagne and tells her that she’s a really hot bride. Nele then makes a toast and I love how because champagne is not really Anni’s thing, she immediately puts the glass down right after and tells them she’s gonna put some music on. The song that comes on is a song called “Techno Fan” by “The Wombats” and immediately Jasmin jumps up and yells out that she LOVES this song!!

At this point Anni looks solemnly at Jasmin and I'm not entirely sure if it’s just because she misses Jasmin OR because a song by “The Wombats” just so happened to be playing last year (March 26) when Jasmin rejected Anni after having just kissed her and she remembers this. Either way, Anni looks at Jasmin sadly and Jasmin’s smile turns into...I’m actually not quite sure whether it’s sadness or flirting.   

Ayla then arrives and they run over, greeting her with hugs and her Tussi tshirt. She does not look happy Jan, not at all. And while everyone else dances away, she heads over to Anni. Anni toasts to Ayla; “To the most embarrassing evening ever!”. Ayla wishes she could drink too (remember she got knocked up from her cousin Tayfun and now she can’t drink). Anni asks if it’s about Tayfun and she nods.

Cut to a bit later on and Ayla has hidden herself away in Nele’s salon. Anni brings her some “kids champagne” and tells her about all the crazy things the girls want to do, including Jasmin wanting to pole dance with Nele on the subway. Umm YES PLEASE!!! But Anni disagrees with me and tells Ayla that if Jasmin attempts that then she’ll either shoot herself or Jasmin. Anni then asks how Ayla is doing and she launches into the Tayfun blues. He apparently has a gambling problem that she tried to help him with, but he threw her out of his house instead #ungratefulmuch. Anni employs some tough love and tells Ayla to forget about him. 

Cut to the subway and Anni is still sitting with Ayla while the other girls are on the other side of the carriage. It’s obvious that Ayla has been blah blah blahing about Tayfun to Anni but it seems like Anni isn’t really listening and only has eyes for Jasmin. Jasmin is busy telling some random guy that that he can get a kiss from Nele for 5 Euro. Meanwhile, Anni stares dreamily at Jasmin and sighs. And it’s a super beautiful moment. 

And while the random dude kisses Nele, Jasmin and Ayla cheer her on and Anni makes a disgusted face. The guy tells Nele to give him a call if it doesn’t work out with her man and they all geer at him. And in amongst all the cheering Jasmin looks over at Anni and the world stands still. 

Anni looks down at first but only lasts a second before she looks up at her again. God I’ve missed these longing looks!!! Elena then ruins the moment and announces to the whole train that it’s their last chance to kiss the bride to be. Jasmin adds to that, that it’s 5 Euros to kiss Nele on the mouth and if they pay a little more, they might get a little more #cheekyJasmin. Nele asks that somebody stop Jasmin BWAHAH!

They all take a seat a couple of rows down from where Anni and Ayla are sitting. They are obviously way drunk by now and Nele is going on about how Mesut is the best kisser ever. Elena then proposes a toast to Mesut, the super kisser and Jasmin almost throws up in her mouth. 

Just then Nele gets a text from Mesut that he’s sitting at home all by himself. Cut across to Mesut real quick and theres a knock on the door. It’s a firefighter stripper. RUH ROOOH!

Nele then tells the girls that she has to go home to be with her future husband and the girls all grab at her and make her sit down again. Jasmin and Elena explain away as to why she shouldn’t leave and then end with a drunken toast. God, drunk Jasmin is hilarious! 

Now here, for like a second, Jasmin turns around and looks at Anni smiling and Anni shyly smiles back. It’s super cute and totally makes me realise just how much I’ve missed these looks! Meanwhile the subway pulls up at a station and Nele quickly tells the girls that she’s super sorry but that she HAS to go. And before they can grab her again, she runs off waving goodbye to them all. Jasmin and Elena try to run after her but Anni just casually waves her goodbye CIAO!! #classicAnni

Recap of Ep 5704 (16.03.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Anni volunteers to be in charge of the door at the MW for a night and John laughs at her. Anni soon proves him wrong and they both go out drinking and progressively get drunker as the night goes on. John eventually acknowledges that Anni is a pretty “cool woman” and proceeds to wake up in her bed the next morning...naked. He’s now freaked out that he’s slept with her...

Ep 5704

John and Anni walk out into the kitchen. John’s hair is sticking up all over the place and his cheeks are all flushed. He asks Anni HOW this could happen!! Anni coyly shrugs and tells him that it was a long night, with lots of alcohol and intense talks. She shyly rubs up next to him and he tells her that he doesn't remember a thing from last night. Anni smirks and tells him that she can’t remember the talks either, but it was all really nice. She says all this in a totally quieter, more feminine voice than I've ever heard from Anni before too. John asks “What about Pia?” and Anni replies “John, who cares? Come on, we were totally...”. He yells at her and she concedes, telling him that he told her that Pia’s cheerful nature gets on his nerves sometimes. 

Anni continues by telling John that he said some stuff about her looks and her tattoos. He sits down all freaked out and Anni tries to reassure him, saying “Hey man, we shared a bed. These things happen sometimes. It’s OK.” Poor John is completely freaked out by now and tells Anni that Pia can never know about this. Anni pulls a face and John asks her what’s wrong. Anni tells him that he called Pia last night and at first she thought it was quite funny but apparently Pia didn't find it nearly as funny. He gets up, scratching his head, while Anni looks down. He looks over at her and Anni can no longer keep a straight face.

He stares at her and says “You’re messing with me?!” and Anni now cracks up laughing. 

Cut to John walking home. He’s on the phone with Emily telling her that he’s bringing her the replacement apartment keys that he lost last night. He looks over at a park bench and suddenly flashes back to his drunken night with Anni. And it’s one of the most hilarious scenes I've seen in ages. John is lying on the ground “looking” for his keys, while Anni tries to help him up. He tells her to let go, that he can get up himself. So Anni lets go and sits down on the bench, waiting for him to get up. Huge round of applause goes out to Felix for his amazing performance of “getting up”...have to say I've never seen anything quite like it before...

I actually have no idea how Linda was able to keep a straight face while filming this. After a good 30 seconds, he’s finally up on the bench and throw himself onto Anni’s lap. He eventually slides back down onto the ground, completely passed out. 

Cut to the cafe later and Anni is telling Elena and Tuner all about her little joke from that morning. Elena asks her if John hit on her and she tells them that he was way too drunk for that and completely blacked out. She tells them that she then told him that they had had sex.

Elena laughs and asks if he believed it. Anni tells them that he naturally believed it and was totally distraught. She then mocks him; “Oh my God, Pia can never know about this!!”. Anni stops and looks over at the door and John is standing there...WHOOPS! As he walks over, he thanks Anni for being so discreet. Tuner and Elena scatter away as John sits down at the counter. Anni asks him if he’s coming tonight and waves her flyer at him. She tells him a few of her “lesbian” friends will also be there.

As she walks away laughing to herself, John looks at the flyer and gets a mischievous look on his face.  Cut to later that night at Anni’s open mic night and I have to say, the GZSZ continuity department are doing a FANTASTIC job! If you looked closely at Anni’s last fliers / posters, they did indeed say her next open mic night was going to be on March 16. 

Anni brings all her “lesbian” friends a drink (who, oddly enough, we've never seen before) and one of them asks her if she’s coming to Nina’s party on Saturday. She tells them yes and they ask her if she’s bringing Jasmin. 

Sidenote to the writers; it would have been a really interesting storyline to see Jasmin be introduced to all of Anni’s friends and to see how they would have reacted. Sad that we never got to see any of that interaction. It could have been fun #itsnottoolate

Anni tells them that Jasmin can’t make it, as she’s at fashion week in Hamburg. I love how this immediately makes one of the girls think that Anni is single but Anni corrects her and tells her that she’s; “Not single, but temporarily free”. 

John now takes this opportunity to jump up on stage. He tells them that before they start, he has something he needs to tell them all.  

He says that he’s slept with a lesbian and that it was the BEST NIGHT OF HIS LIFE!!!

Anni hangs her head and he continues “Anni Brehme...what can I say? You enchant me. You’re tough and soft at the same time. Yes, you are...what can I say?...WOW! I love you!”. By this stage he’s knelt down next to her and is practically in her face. Anni just stares at him as he finally cracks up laughing. 

Anni finally acknowledges the awesome joke and he ruffles her hair as he gets up, with the crowd all cheering. She shakes her head laughing as the open mic night begins. 

Cut to the end of the night and Anni farewells her friends, telling them that what happens at the cafe stays at the cafe and that they are not allowed to tell anyone what happened there. She then turns back around to face John, who is still smirking away. 

He asks his “little mermaid” if everything is OK and starts embracing her. She tells him to “Bite me!” and he laughs. They sit down at the counter for another beer and Anni tells him that he’s got a lot of balls to get up on stage like that and make a fool of himself. He shrugs and tells her that’s how machos are; when their honour is at stake, they are willing to take a risk. Anni then gets serious for a second and says; “If I ever want to sleep with a man, I’ll call you, OK?”. He stares at her and asks her if she’s serious. She slaps his leg laughing saying “Dude, you’re asking for people to mess with you!” BWAHAHA GOOD ONE ANNI!!!!

Recap of Ep 5703 (13.03.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Elena is growing ever jealous of Tuner’s new relationship with Mia, the cafe runs out of ALL brown sugar *gasp* and Jasmin is still off somewhere in Hamburg *sob*

Ep 5703

We open at the MW with Armin telling John that their security guys are stuck in traffic and now they have noone to watch the door. They start brainstorming about who they could get to fill in, just as Anni walks over.

Anni says ���I’ll do it! I’m young and need the money” HAHA! John laughs at her and tells her that she can do the stamping at the door. He tells her that she’s sweet but that he really needs a MAN and not a woman. Anni tells him that’s bullshit and that she’s done it a thousand times before. He thanks her but tells her that he’ll just do it himself. Ugh...jerk!

Cut to later on with John minding the door and Anni stamping people / being cashier. She does not look happy Jan, not at all.

John sends some girl away and Anni asks him what was wrong with her. He tells her that she’s only 16 and tries to get in every week. He then lets two very flirty drunk women in and Anni makes a disapproving face.

After the girls pay Anni she tells John that she would not have let them in. He tells her that that is why HE is on the door and not her. The two girls then promptly get into a fight right then and there. John runs over to try and break it up and tells them to go home but as soon as he grabs one of them, she yells out that he’s harassing her. Anni then goes over and ushers them out while thanking them for coming. They curse her all the way out but she manages to get them out, all while John watches.

Anni be like “You were saying?!” to John and he kinda looks impressed with her. Just then Armin comes up to tell John that he’s off the hook cos the real bouncers have finally arrived. He then asks Anni if she wants to go out for some beers, so he can make up for being a jerk earlier. She replies “If you dare to drink with a woman, John?” #greatcomeback

Cut to later on and we seemed to have missed the whole fun bar hopping / drinking part of the night and jumped straight to DRUNK ‘O’ CLOCK. Anni reads the name of the place they just left, “Off Trade Sales” and remarks that it’s a stupid ass name for a club. BWAHAH! He tells her that it was alright there but she says it was WAY too loud and that she was surprised that there was even anyone in there. He laughs at her but says nothing, so she nudges him and says “Would you admit that I’m right just this once?!”. He points at her and tells her OK. Anni then looks at her empty beer and asks him if he wants to go get another one. He tells her that he’s not that fast and hasn’t even finished his yet. Anni then teases him; “All man, half speed!” HAHA! 

He laughs at her and tells her that she IS a real man. Anni fake gasps and says “I get to be a real man?!”

She then squeals like a girl and tells him that she is actually NOT a man but a woman and says “And that’s the problem with guys like you, because you always pigeon-hole everything!”

He laughs it off and she asks him if he knows why she’s a better bouncer than him. She tells him that it’s because she’s not a guy and therefore she has better intuition than a guy. She then tells him that she’s going to give him a pointer for next time; that he should look deep into people’s eyes, and not just the girls he wants to flirt with...she actually almost says fuck here instead and she totally cracks herself up #fuckinfunny

John insists that he doesn’t flirt with anyone as he is faithful and suggests they go check out another new club on Anker street that’s just opening and they drunkenly stumble off. I wish we could have seen them in at least one club...I think it would have been pretty funny.

Cut to later on as they stagger back into the MW. Anni teases John because he had obviously read the opening of the club wrong and so it was closed. As they walk down the stairs, Anni asks him if he knows what it is that she likes about guys so much. She tells him that guys are so incredibly self aware and cracks herself up again. God I love drunk Anni! He then informs her that the real reason she loves guys like him is actually because they own their own club. She promptly informs him that he no longer owns this club but he tells her that HE has the keys and they both laugh. He then hands her a beer and she pops that top off with a BAM!

She then cheers him. He says her name all serious and she answers all serious but ends up cracking herself up yet again.

John tells her that he takes the man thing back and that she’s a cool woman. Anni is all bashful and tells him that he’s not such an uncool guy. He shakes his head and says “Good thing you’re a lesbian”. I love the way she just stares back at him here without saying a word.

After a moment, she gets up, yells MUSIC and runs off #wewantmoredrunkanni

Cut to the next morning and we see John snoring away in Anni’s bed with his phone ringing away on the floor. He almost falls out of bed getting his phone and then laughs at it and switches it off. He sits up in bed, trying to wake up when his eyes suddenly grow big as he realises where he is. He lifts the blankets to check if he’s wearing any underwear (and he’s not) and then slowly turns and peels back the covers, revealing Anni. Anni smiles up at him and says “Hey John” in THE girliest voice I’ve ever heard from her. 

The camera then zooms in on a freaked out John?! What has he done? Has he really just slept with a lesbian? DAAAA DAAAA DAAAAAAA!

Recap of Eps 5698-5700 (06-10.03.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Anni gets a little hot and steamy with Franca Mo but comes to her senses in time and tells Franca that NO means NO! Jasmin turns a bad situation good by designing “Tussi Attack” tshirts to sell at the local flea markets. Anni surprises Jasmin at these markets with coffee but just as they start to get close again, Franca Mo shows up and starts befriending Jasmin. Luckily Franca doesn’t mention anything to Jasmin but Anni is more than freaked out by the whole thing. Anni then makes steps to try and get closer to Jasmin again, only to have Jasmin tell her that she’s the one who wanted this relationship break and that she’s got too much to do before she leaves for her business trip to Hamburg. Ep 5698 We open at the cafe where Anni runs in to ask Tuner if he’s got any free shifts for her to take. He teases her about wanting to keep busy because he hears that Jasmin will be out of town. Anni gives him a GET LOST face and tells him that she just has some free time now and could use the money.  He hands her the roster as Elena’s phone rings. She answers and starts talking to her mother in Spanish. Tuner overhears the word “birthday” in Spanish and he whispers over to Anni that it must be her birthday. Anni wonders why she hasn’t said anything to them and Tuner speculates that maybe she’s not in the party mood due to ohhh you know, HER HUSBAND JUST DIED?!  Anni seems to have no sympathy for Elena either and wonders WHY on earth she wouldn’t want to celebrate?! Tuner thinks that it’s just not right and looks at Anni. Anni knows exactly what he’s thinking and says “You distract her?” and he replies “You organise everything?”. At the end Anni dorkily says “Synchronise watches” and they both look down to their non existant watches and laugh.  Haha I love when Anni is such a nerd. Elena finally hangs up the phone and Tuner and Anni just look at her. Tuner asks her what she’s doing later because “Some Kind of Wonderful” are playing at the MW and he asks if she would like to go. She tells him she would love to and once she turns away, he winks at Anni. Anni gives him a hilarious look as if to say “Reeeeeal smooth Tuner”. Over at the MW, the concert starts as Elena and Tuner arrive. Tuner then gets a text from Anni telling him that everything is all set for the party and they can come over to the apartment. I think Tuner is actually enjoying his little non-date with Elena too much and he texts her back “Already?”. About halfway through the concert Tuner asks Elena if they should go but she tells him that they will play some more later. He tells her that she’s seen them now and that there’s an emergency and that she’ll see soon enough. He suggests that they use the elevator as the stairs are too crowded. Just as they get into the elevator, a conveniently placed background extra moves out of the way to reveal a sign warning not to use the elevator as it’s acting up. RUH ROOOH. In the elevator Elena hits the stop button to try and get what’s going on out of Tuner. Of course he caves within 2 seconds, telling her that he overheard her on the phone and that he knows it’s her birthday and they’ve planned a surprise party for her. Way to spill the beans Tuner!    She tells him that it’s actually NOT her birthday and that he misunderstood the phone call earlier. She then tries to re-start the elevator but RUH ROOH it’s broken and now they are stuck there.  Over at the apartment, everyone sits waiting around for them to arrive. Ayla jumps up and tells them that they are coming. So Anni hits the lights and they all wait for the door to open. When it does open, they all start singing that fake GZSZ made up Happy Birthday song but it turns out that it’s only Jasmin. I love the way Jasmin just says NO and they all laugh. Jasmin tells them that Tuner and Elena are not at the MW and that now she has to get going because her bus to Hamburg leaves in an hour. AWW NO DON’T GOOOOO!! Anni kinda does this sad nod while Ayla goes to hug Jasmin goodbye. Everyone wishes her good luck and then she gives Anni a look. And as Anni approaches her, she has the most adorable little puppy face ever. As they hug each other, Anni tells her to call her and Jasmin tells her that she will. As they finish the hug, you can see both of them look at each other’s lips for a second, before Anni sweetly kisses Jasmin.  Awww you guys, my heart just melted! Even when they are in a relationship break, or fighting, they STILL love each other! Anni does her little sad nod again and with that Jasmin leaves us for the next 2 weeks. *SOB* Back in the elevator, Elena is using her time wisely and teaching Tuner some Spanish. They cheers away while sitting on some drink crates as everyone back at the apartment also toast to Elena. Ep 5699 Next episode starts in the cafe. Anni, Tuner and Elena are all working. Anni is wearing her amazingly sexy black leather vest again #blackvestforpresident. Elena asks Tuner if he wants a coffee but he tells her no as he has a breakfast date.  A BREAKFAST DATE?! How did I not know this was a thing?! *makes notes* Just then in walks Mia, Tuner’s breakfast date (she is the woman whose dead husband donated his heart to Tuner). Elena makes an oddly jealous looking face as he goes and hugs her.  Can I just officially put my name down on the “No to Eluner” list right now?! As Tuner goes off to answer a phone call, Mia comes over to the counter and wishes Elena a belated Happy Birthday. Elena tells her that it was all just a misunderstanding and makes her a coffee. After giving her the stink eye, Elena fake smiles and says “You see each other more often now, Tuner and you?”. Mia says that she’ll see how it goes. Elena then tells her that her husband also died and donated his organs but she can’t imagine ever having to meet whoever ended up with them. Mia tells her that everyone deals with things differently. Elena then gets to the real point and ask if maybe Mia is confusing something here, that Tuner is important to her and that she doesn’t want to see him get hurt. Mia tells her that she likes Tuner and that it has nothing to do with her dead husband’s heart beating away inside him. Tuner finishes his phone call and they go off on their breakfast date. Anni tells Elena that she thinks it’s cool that Tuner has something going on with someone. Elena doesn’t think it should be with Mia though as she thinks that it’s obviously unhealthy.  Anni asks “Is it?” Elena looks shocked and tries to re-explain it to Anni. She says “Tuner has Mia’s husband’s heart!”. Yes, we know this Elena. She continues by telling Anni that now she is around there ALL the time and she thinks it’s all very weird. Anni disagrees and says that Tuner is Tuner, no matter whose heart he has inside him. She tells Elena that maybe some people might find it weird but that she is sure Tuner can take care of himself. Elena sighs and agrees that she will stay out of it all.  Elena brings Maren and Katrin some coffee, who are discussing Maren’s relationship problems with Alex. Katrin asks Elena if they have any brown sugar and Elena goes off searching for this elusive brown sugar. She comes back a second later telling the ladies that they are all out of brown sugar. She passes Anni on the way back to the bar and tells her that she’s going to ask Tuner about the brown sugar.  Ep 5700 Still in the cafe. Anni goes up to the counter and asks Elena about the brown sugar. Elena tells her that she didn’t ask him about it. Anni, all annoyed, tells her that she thought thats why she went upstairs for.  Elena informs Anni that Tuner is “busy”. More like “gettin’ busy” if you ask me *wink*. Elena tells Anni that they were kissing and so she left.  Anni smirks and says “Well, that’s a start”. Elena gives her a look and Anni tells her that she should be happy for him as he’s got some catching up to do. Elena concedes and tells Anni that she IS happy for him. Anni then says “But you think Mia is a psycho?”. Awww hahaha! Elena just doesn’t want to see little Tuner get hurt. Anni nods like she doesn’t believe her.  Elena continues by adding that Tuner can kiss whoever he wants, as long as it makes him happy.  Cut to a bit later on and Tuner comes bounding down the stair holding a scarf. Anni teases him and asks if that’s his date’s scarf. He tells her that it is. Anni then inquires as to how it was. Elena looks slightly uncomfortable at this and Tuner notices this. Elena explains that they were out of brown sugar and that she went upstairs to ask him if they had any more. He questions as to whether she was actually just there to check up on him and Mia. Elena looks taken aback for a second but Anni quickly tells him that they really WERE out of brown sugar. Tuner tells Elena that Mia told him about their conversation earlier and she tells him that she only meant well. He tells her that he can look after himself and that she just needs to stay out of it because he likes Mia. As Tuner walks off, Elena turns around to one of the most hilarious (and improv-ed I’m sure) scenes we’ve seen in quite a while. She turns around to see Anni just standing there and gives her a look, Anni then grabs the curtains and hides behind them. BWAHAHA! #classiclinda A bit later and Mia comes to the cafe looking for her scarf. Tuner gets it for her and asks her if everything is OK, since she took off so suddenly earlier. She tells him that the kiss was really nice but that she’s just not ready to be with anyone right now. He tells her that he really likes her and she says the same. But she also tells him that she doesn’t think this thing between them is such a good idea after all. Awwwww Tuuuunuiiiiiii... ** This recap proudly brought to you by some brown sugar. Recap of Ep 5697 (05.03.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Franca Mo, the supposedly famous photographer, who wants to get into Anni’s pants, convinces her to do a photo shoot with her for her flyer. Anni and Jasmin then get a little bit closer, only to have Mesut ruin their moment by blurting out that Anni wants to move out. This then causes yet another fight between them. Anni then has an awesome photo shoot montage and we all wonder if we can get our hands on those real pretend photos. Elena then has a pep talk with Jasmin and convinces her to “TUSSI ATTACK” her way back into Anni’s life, but by the end of the episode it looked like Anni might be ready to pounce on Franca Mo and not Jasmin..... 

Ep 5697

We open back at the MW where it seems that Franca Mo’s suggestion of going somewhere else with Anni resulted in going only a few meters away to the back corner of the MW. Seems they couldn't even make it to the bathroom. I have to say that, again, I know it isn't with Jasmin, but DAMN this scene is pretty hot. 

As they make out, Anni tries to stop Franca but she just asks Anni if her girlfriend is around. Anni replies no and so they continue getting hot and steamy. Franca suggests she calls a cab for them but Anni shakes her head no and tells her that she can’t do this. She stops her and Franca tells Anni that it’s a shame and that she’s missing out. As Franca walks off, Anni lets out a huge sigh and says FUCK! 

That’s pretty much how I feel at the end of this. Hey, at least Anni is learning...slowly but surely. Old Anni wouldn't have hesitated to go home with Franca. New Anni loves Jasmin and while her body might sometimes veer off the path, her heart always stays true to Jasmin in the end and has so far stopped anything from ever happening. 

Back at the apartment, Jasmin is packing away her shirts when Anni arrives home. They have an awkward moment for a second before Anni tells her that she’s off to bed.

But Jasmin stops her and apologises to her for fighting again. Aww isn't Jasmin the sweetest girlfriend in the entire world? 

Put a ring on that one Anni, before I do! 

Jasmin tells Anni that it’s OK with her if she moves out for now, if she thinks that it’s best for them. Anni tells her that she’ll think about it. They share an intense moment for a second, before Jasmin tries to lighten the mood by saying “I really can be a Tussi sometimes”. Anni actually doesn't really react to this and so Jasmin continues with “...but it gave me an idea. TA DAA!” and she holds up one of her “Tussi Attack” tshirts. 

     I love how sincere and super serious Anni looks in this scene (or it could be her guilt). It’s like she’s slowly coming to the realisation that she doesn't deserve someone as great as Jasmin and that Jasmin truly is the greatest girlfriend in the world. Anni smiles away at Jasmin’s shirt and says that it’s funny but her smile immediately vanishes. See?! Super serious, you guys! 

And just then, Uli Beck’s super sad melody starts to play and while I think it’s beautiful, I HATE this music...totally makes me want to cry every time I hear it. It’s the type of melody one hears that evokes sadness about things that have passed and are no longer. Breaks my heart.  Jasmin then asks her if she thinks it’s stupid and Anni shakes her head saying she thinks it’s actually really cool. Then playfully calls her a Tussi.

After their sweet moment, Anni hangs her head and Jasmin tells her that she’s thinking about having the shirts printed for tomorrow so she can sell them at the flea market. Anni thinks it’s a great idea and that they would sell really well. Anni sweetly looks at Jasmin and sighs and it breaks my heart. 

LOVE IS ENOUGH YOU GUYS! MAKE UP ALREADY!!!! #wherearemytissues Jasmin sweetly wishes Anni goodnight and after yet another intense moment, Anni squeakily walks off to her room. Probably not the best shoes to wear on that set...

Next day and we’re at the flea markets. 

I love how when Jasmin mentioned these flea markets, she did so as if she ALWAYS sells stuff at these markets and yet this is like the first time we’re hearing about them. 

Jasmin hangs up all her “Tussi Attack” shirts while Elena helps unpack the rest of their junk stuff. She finds a bunch of biker magazines that belonged to Nik and decides she can’t sell these yet. As Jasmin grabs the box from Elena, some poor background extra is given a heart attack as his path is temporarily blocked. Don’t panic and keep calm buddy! Elena looks at Jasmin’s shirts and tells her that they turned out really great and Jasmin thanks her for the “Attack” idea. 

Wow, I would very much like the number of this tshirt company that magically printed all these shirts overnight! Great job you guys!

Jasmin then wishes that they had some coffee right about now and magically Anni arrives with some! YAAAAY! Anni to the rescue!! I love how surprised both Elena and Jasmin are to see Anni here.

Jasmin tells Anni that her timing is perfect and asks if she’s joining them. Anni tells them yes, if they have space for her stuff as well? Jasmin nods and tells her that this way their stall won’t be so “Tussi” like. HAHA! Awww. Anni tells her she thought “Tussi” style was in now and motions to Jasmin’s shirts. Jasmin mentions that the prints turned out really well and Anni agrees telling her that even she would wear one. Jasmin then unhooks a shirt and gives it to Anni telling her that she should get one for free considering she was her inspiration for making them. Anni laughs and thanks her. 

Just then Jasmin notices a disturbance in the force someone behind Anni and asks them if that’s the famous photographer Franca Mo? All the blood drains from Anni’s face as she realises who they are talking about. 

I love how if you keep a close eye on Anni here, you’ll notice that she actually bolts as soon as Franca heads over to their stand. Franca makes a B-line for Jasmin’s shirts and I think Jasmin gets a little exited that Franca is checking out her wares. As Jasmin and Franca chit chat away, you can see Anni hiding in the back and not happy about this situation at all. Jasmin introduces Elena and her “girlfriend” Anni to her but Franca tells her that they've already met. Jasmin asks how they know each other and Anni tells her that yesterday Franca took pictures of her for her flyer. Jasmin then sarcastically says “You have a photo shoot with FRANCA MO and don’t tell me about it?!”

Anni tells her that it was spontaneous and Franca tells her that she “imposed” herself on Anni. Well that’s one way to put it. 

Franca tells Jasmin that she had to, after she saw Anni’s semi-professional flyers at the cafe and they both giggle away. Meanwhile, Anni looks like she’s ready to throw up. Franca tells Jasmin that her shirts are really hot and Jasmin tells her that she designed them herself. Awww she looks so proud of herself here. Jasmin then offers one to Franca for free for doing Anni’s flyer photos for her. Ahh Jasmin, if only you really knew what Franca actually did. This whole time Anni is still hiding away in the back and just observing this whole thing go down...

Franca then decides she wants a selfie with the shirts and asks Jasmin to be in the shot too. Oh look, they are becoming besties. Not something Anni wants to see happen, I'm sure. 

As Jasmin continues selling her shirts to other customers, Franca gets Anni alone in the back and tells her that Jasmin is cute. You bet she is! Anni then thanks Franca for not saying anything to Jasmin and Franca replies that nothing happened anyway. Anni tells her that she told her nothing COULD happen but Franca asks her if she’s so sure about that. Anni then says “Well, you just met my girlfriend, right?”. 

Yeah so back off Franca, because there’s no way you’re ever winning with someone like Jasmin in the competition with you. 

Franca still doesn't give up and tells Anni that things must not be going so well then, judging by what happened yesterday. Anni tells her to let her worry about that and Franca tells her she’ll see her around and leaves. Jasmin is super excited about making some more sales, but Anni’s face shows us relief that she was able to dodge that bullet... 

Back at the apartment. Jasmin and Elena discuss the flea market as Anni goes through the things she DIDN’T sell. No one even wanted her cables for FREE!

Jasmin awws away and starts counting the millions she’s made from her awesome shirts. Elena leaves just as Jasmin gets an alert on her phone that Franca has sent her a friend request. Now there’s trouble brewing with a capital TR! Jasmin accepts it right away and Anni is not happy Jan! Jasmin gets excited that Franca posted the selfie from earlier at the markets and shows Anni the picture. Anni is beyond thrilled by it. She then notices someone asking about where Franca got that awesome shirt from and immediately replies with “From me”. And seeing the cute and excited way she does this can only make Anni laugh.

See Anni, you have the most excellent, most awesome, most beautiful and cute girlfriend in the whole world. DO. NOT. FUCK. THIS. UP!

Jasmin tells Anni that “Tussi Attack” is off to a great start and Anni tells her it’s going to grow into a whole empire. Jasmin then brings up fashion week in Hamburg again and Anni offers to take Jasmin out to have some Korean to help celebrate. But Jasmin tells her that she’s still got some stuff to do to get ready for her trip and promises to Anni that they will make up for it when she gets back. Anni’s face drops and she becomes serious again and in her cute relationship voice (you all know you have one too) says “Do you really have to go away for so long?”. NAAAAWWWWW! 

I love when she’s so cute and vulnerable like this. Jasmin shrugs and tells her that it’s her that wanted a time-out and that this break will be good for them. She also tells her that it’ll give her a chance to miss her and very carefully grabs Anni’s hand for a second. Awww you guys, they are meant to be!

Recap of Ep 5696 (04.03.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Mesut tags along with Anni to a lesbian night at the MW and hilarity of course ensues. We are introduced to flirtatious blonde, Franca Mo and Anni helps Mesut and Nele reconcile but is still in a relationship break with Jasmin.

Ep 5696

We open at the cafe with Anni working away. Franca Mo comes in and asks Anni why she never called her. She tells her that it’s because she has a girlfriend, which Franca immediately accepts. She then looks down at a pile of flyers on the counter advertising Anni’s next open mic night and tells her that the weird picture of her on it, is off putting. I’m not sure in what world that is considered a good pick up line but it certainly grabs Anni’s attention. She tells her that she’s not a professional photographer. Franca then tells her that SHE is one (how convenient!!) and offers Anni a photo shoot for free. But Anni is not so sure that Franca can keep her hands off her. Franca eventually convinces Anni to come and do a totally platonic photo shoot with her that very afternoon. As she sweeps out of the room, Anni sighs and mouths her name.   

Cut to the apartment where Jasmin is giving Ayla a little pep talk about her Tayfun issues. Apparently he now has a bit of an online gambling addiction and is lying to Ayla about it. She still somehow believes that Tayfun will eventually fall madly in love with her and they’ll all play happy families together...but things do not look good on that front. Jasmin tells her that her best plan should be to just expect the worst and not be disappointed Fast forward to later on and Anni arrives home to grab her stuff for the photo shoot with Franca Mo. She grabs her guitar and on her way out notices a whole bunch of sewing stuff all laid out on the table and checks it out. Just then Jasmin comes out of the bathroom wearing only a towel and greets Anni. Anni tells her that the shirts on the table look really cool and Jasmin tells her that there might be one extra left over at the end.

Jasmin tells Anni that designing is really fun and that working on Nele’s wedding dress has rekindled her creativity. And in fact she’s going away on a business trip to Hamburg for fashion week for an independent designer.

Anni tells her that sounds good. Jasmin then tells her that her and Elena will be selling stuff at the flea market in the morning if she’s up for it. And judging by Anni’s look here, I’d say she’s definitely up for it...

Jasmin grabs her towel and tells Anni to "Stop looking. Relationship Break.” and a disappointed Anni says OK and turns to leave. 

Just then Mesut comes in, talking away on his phone. He hangs up and tells Anni “OK, a friend of mine is moving out of his apartment in Neukölln. You could go look at it today.” Even as he’s only halfway through talking Anni already starts shaking her head and giving a face to Mesut to shut up. But it’s too late and Anni hangs her head...

Jasmin’s face drops and she asks if Anni wants to move out. Anni turns around not knowing what to tell her...She eventually tells her that she was just asking around. Jasmin angrily says “For no reason huh? Do you do that all the time and I just never noticed it before?”. Mesut sheepishly tells them that he had no idea (that he wasn’t supposed to say anything) and Anni sarcastically thanks him as he leaves and he goes upstairs. Jasmin yells out after him that maybe he could find her an apartment too?. Anni tells Jasmin that she thought that getting a little distance would be a good thing for them, as being around each other all the time is not really a “relationship break”. Jasmin questions how that would work if they never see each other at all anymore and tells Anni that they may as well break up now then. Anni shakes her head and tells her no, they would make dates, meet up and still look forward to seeing each other. She tells her that that is her idea of a relationship. Jasmin retaliates by asking Anni if it's also her idea of a relationship when her girlfriend is the last to know about her moving out?.

Jasmin then asks Anni if she’s still even her girlfriend anymore. Anni turns on the defences and tells her that this is exactly why she didn't want to tell her about this, because she knew she would make a big deal out of it. Jasmin wants to settle the issue but Anni is already fleeing the scene and tells her that there’s no point in arguing about it now as it’s not getting them anywhere. Jasmin tells her that of course moving out must be the solution. Anni tells her that she has to go as she has a photo shoot for her flyer and leaves. 

After such a heavy scene we now cut to one of the most fun scenes we've seen in a while. Anni is at her photo shoot with Franca Mo and we get this amazing montage of Anni posing for her photos. Can I please petition the peeps over at GZSZ to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leak these photos online? I don’t care where...but we want to see these photos! We NEED to see these photos...dear God let these photos even exist!!! *sobs*

             Right at the end of the shoot, Franca Mo gently grabs Anni’s face to reposition her for a shot and they share a teeny tiny moment. Heeeey you guys, I’m just calling it as I see it...there was defs a moment... Back at the apartment Jasmin is busy sewing away when the doorbell rings. It’s Elena with more crap stuff for them to sell at the flea market in the morning. Elena sees the shirts Jasmin is working on and compliments her on them. She tells Elena that she’s a fashion designer. Elena then questions why she works as a waitress then. Jasmin tells her that that’s a good question and according to Anni it’s because she is aimless. They both sigh and Elena asks her if they are fighting again. Jasmin starts getting teary and tells her that she’s just a tussi (drama queen) who gets worked up about everything. Elena says the word “Tussi” and Jasmin thinks about it for a second and repeats it back smiling. She writes it on her shirt. 

Elena asks her if they still love each other and Jasmin tells her that Anni is the greatest girl she knows. Elena asks “But...?” and Jasmin tells her that she’s too clingy, according to Anni. She tells Elena that just as they were getting closer again, she finds out that Anni wants to move out. Elena tells her that when you've found your love, you can’t just give up on it...you have to fight for it...ATTACK even! Jasmin thinks for a second and smiles. She writes the word ATTACK under “Tussi”.

     TUSSI ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!! Cut across to the MW where Anni and Franca Mo are reviewing the photos from the shoot on Franca’s camera. Franca flirts with her, complimenting her on how hot she looks in the photos. And as Anni points out which shots she likes, she subtly flirts back...

They are already sitting really close together so when Anni looks up at Franca, they are super close and they share another intense moment. Franca takes this opportunity to put her hand on the inside of Anni’s thigh...and while yes I acknowledge that it’s not Jasmin...I still oddly find this to be SUPER HOT! And Anni doesn’t seem to mind it either and after they make more sexy eyes at each other, Franca asks her if she wants to go somewhere else? Recap of Ep 5695 (03.03.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Anni has been feeling unhappy in her relationship with Jasmin but can’t quite figure out how to tell her, so she writes her feelings into a song and sings it to her. Jasmin takes the song to heart and breaks up with Anni but later decides that that’s not what she wants. However, Anni tells her that they should take a “relationship break” in an attempt to save the relationship. Now things are VERY awkward around the apartment..... Ep 5695 We open on Mesut watching the TV and we hear the TV talking about someone’s milk being below average...God I hope they are referring to an animal here. Anni comes home and asks Mesut if Nele is home because a friend of hers needs a haircut but Mesut is fixated on this “milk” show he’s watching and starts rambling about it. Anni tells him that she doesn't care, she’s just looking for Nele, who isn't answering her phone. Meanwhile, Jasmin emerges from her room, spots Anni, but has learnt from the last time, and doesn't say a word. Mesut informs Anni that Nele is staying with her parents for a week. Anni then asks why he didn't go along with her. He doesn't answer but Jasmin chimes in, telling Anni that they are now on a relationship break too. Mesut tells them both that it’s because of them that they are fighting. Anni reacts with;  “Am I responsible for all the misery in the world now or something?” Jasmin just gives a look to Anni and goes into the bathroom. Anni throws up her arms and says “This sucks!”. 

Mesut agrees and tells her that women are nothing but drama. She then tells him that it will all be alright and proceeds to change her clothes in front of the mirror. Mesut notices and asks her where she’s going. She tells him she’s going out to party, as she’s had enough of all the whining around the apartment. Mesut thinks about it for a second and then tells her that he’s coming too. 

She hesitates for a second and tells him that this party is probably not his thing. He says ALL parties are his thing. She umms and errs for a second and tells him that it’s a SPECIAL kind of party. He correctly guesses that it’s a lesbian party. But instead of being disappointed, he gets really excited about the thought of him in a room surrounded by women. 

Settle down Mesut! But I love Anni’s face at the end, she looks like she’s in physical pain HAHA!. She gives in and lets him come...such a good friend. 

Cut to the MW where a lesbian night is in full swing...(wait a minute..since when does the MW hold lesbian nights?? And why has Anni never gone to it before then?!). Mesut and Anni are scoping out the chicks and Mesut tells Anni that the lesbians are not as ugly as he had imagined. Anni hits him and is all like HELLO, who’s standing next to you? He tells her that he always knew that lesbians were really hot and she agrees. He starts wolf whistling and checking out chicks all around him and being a general creepy macho dude. He also tells her that he wishes he was single, because he would have ALL the ladies in there. Anni then asks him if he actually knows WHAT a lesbian is.  He smugly replies;  “Yeah, a woman who’s never had a guy like me” Umm not quite Mesut. He even tells Anni to give him a chance and then she’ll be done with women forever. Yeah dream on, Mesut! Anni just nods at him like UH HUH. He goes on to tell her that its actually her tough luck because he’s now off the market. Anni tells him that its really too bad HAHA! Anni just looks at him here like he can’t be serious, it’s hilarious. 

But bless him, he continues in his delusion and tells Anni that women can sense when a REAL MAN is in front of them. He looks at Anni and corrects himself; “OK, you don’t, because we know each other too well, so there’s no sexual tension. But normal women...all I have to do is walk by and BAM! They sense it!”

But at some point he’s lost Anni, who looks at him confused now and asks him what it is that they sense.

He just points down into the club and tells her that he can get all the women there to give him their numbers. Anni laughs and tells him that he couldn't even get one number. So he bets her three weeks cleaning the apartment, that he can. Anni agrees and they shake on it. He recommends she go buy herself some ribbed rubber gloves but she hilariously tells him that she doesn't need any “ribs” on her gloves. Ohhh way to go Anni!!!

Cut to the club floor and Anni is standing at the bar. Mesut comes over with his macho walk and checks out a hot chick at the bar. He tries to pick her up but she just walks off.

LESBIANS - 1 MESUT - 0

It’s at this point we are introduced to the new guest character of Franca Mo, who sits down across the bar from Anni. She makes eyes at Anni and smiles at her. Anni makes damn sexy eyes right back at her. It’s one of her super powers, I’m telling you. 

Next up Mesut walks up to two girls dancing and gives them both a drink, asking them what they’ll be doing later. I love how they don’t actually reply to him but just start making out with each other HAH!  

As he stands there staring at them, Anni has to come drag him away. LESBIANS - 2 MESUT - 0  A bit later on Anni is sitting on the edge of the stage when a hot chick approaches her and whispers in her ear if she wants a drink. WHY DOESN'T STUFF LIKE THIS EVER HAPPEN TO ME?! #iwannaliveinasoap Just as Anni is about to answer her, Mesut comes over and puts his arm around her, telling the girl that Anni is taken. As the girl walks off, Anni rips Mesut’s arm from around her and says; “Are you crazy?! Look at her!” Then hilariously slaps him upside the head.  LESBIANS - 2 MESUT - 1 Mesut then wanders over to the bar and sits down next to Franca, who greets him and gives him her number. All surprised he asks her; “For me?”. She tells him to give her number to his cute friend. AHAHAHA!  LESBIANS - 3 MESUT - 1 We then see some random shots of Anni, Franca & Mesut dancing away. 

Mesut then gets approached at the bar by a gay man and he gives his number to Mesut. He promptly freaks out and tells the guy to get lost, shooing him away. 

Later back at the bar, Anni tells Mesut that she has 7 girls numbers, how many does he have? She asks him if maybe they were all too horny to give him their number so he just dragged them all into the bathroom. He fakes laughs at her and she pats him and tells him to be a good loser. Mesut then turns to John, who is working behind the bar, and asks him what he thinks about all this (the lesbian night). He tells Mesut that it’s all very relaxed. Mesut then says; “Well, I think it’s not completely perverted. More like perverted in a good way” Well at least we’re making progress Mesut...so there’s that. He then points to some girls making out and tells John to look cos it’s so hot. John, without flinching, tells him that he has to work. Anni laughs and Mesut questions whether John is really not watching all the girls make out around him.  Meanwhile, across the bar, Franca and her female friend are fighting over why Franca gave Anni her number. Franca argues with her that they aren't even together *cough* lesbian drama *cough*. Franca and Anni give each other the eye again and Anni yells over; “Don’t beat each other up, girls!”

Mesut then chimes in and tells Anni that Nele once beat up a chick for him, and she even lost some hair extensions too (yes, we remember that Mesut). He tells Anni that he would do the same for Nele as well and Anni tells him that they are made for each other. Later in the bathroom, Mesut questions if Anni has ever slept with a man before, but she shuts him down, telling him it’s none of his business. He then starts offering himself up to her and her response to him is hilarious. She throws her hand towel at him and says; “Dude! Stop! Bad dog! Sit! I don’t want to hear it!”

LESBIANS - 4 MESUT - 1 Meanwhile, Franco comes in with her female friend and they start making out. Anni just nods at them and is all UH HUH (cos she knows how this shit works). And Mesut must be growing as a character by now, because he doesn't make some macho remark but instead tells Anni that it’s exactly like him and Nele...fighting at first and then making up. Anni tells him that it’s hard to miss that in the apartment. He looks at her in surprise and asks her if they listen by his door. Her response = more hilarity;  “Dude, we plug our ears, we turn up the music, we run outside...it’s no use! All the time it goes; AHHHH Mesut, my Turkish stud!!” She then proceeds to touch herself and make fake sex sounds *cough* ahem yeah *cough*.

He now throws his hand towel at her and tells her to shut up as it’s super embarrassing. Anni then remembers something and gets a note out of her pocket. She tells him that some cutie pie gave her her number to give to him. He gets really excited and grabs it out of her hands, telling Anni that lesbians DO know what’s good after all. He looks down at the number and it’s obviously Nele’s number HAHA! Nice one Anni. 

LESBIANS - 5 MESUT - 1 

Later on, they head into Mesut’s convenience store, which randomly serves alcohol too. He asks her if she wants anything to drink and she tells him that she just wants to go home to bed. He thanks her for a great night out. Anni then takes out all the numbers she got and puts them on the table saying; “Sorry girls, but I'm already taken. More or less, anyway” Awwww...it was nice for the writers to add that part in. Now we know that Anni knows she belongs with Jasmin also. Mesut tells her to keep her chin up and that he’s sure that Jasmin will calm down.

Anni then tells him to call his own sweetie and asks if he still has the note. He motions to his brain and tells her that he has her number memorised. Anni cutely AWWs at this. He then calls Nele and makes up with her on the phone. Anni you really need to be taking your own advice here and YOU SHOULD CALL YOUR OWN SWEETIE TOO!!!! WE WANT YOU GUYS TO MAKE UP! LIKE NOW....NOW...OK NOW...HOW BOUT....NOOOW?!

Recap of Ep 5663-4 (16-19.01.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Jasmin tells Anni that she overheard her telling Nele that their vacation alone time together was too long. They both vent their frustrations out to Nele, who listens patiently. Anni then makes it up to Jasmin by framing a cute picture of the two of them from their vacation and we get one of the cutest make up scenes in history. But in the end we see that Anni is still not quite 100% satisfied with the outcome and almost destroys Mesut with her laser vision.... Ep 5663 We open with Anni working away at the cafe clearing tables when David comes in (aka the bad boy of GZSZ). She sees his beaten up face and asks him if he fell down the stairs. He tells her that it's something like that. She then hilariously asks him if it was from domestic violence. He tells her that Berlin can be a dangerous place and she remarks that it can be, especially for him. She starts to mention the whole MW showdown with the Mafia thing but he interrupts her to order a glass of water. She then fake smiles at him and as soon as he turns away, pulls a face...

Tayfun then comes in and hands David a big fat envelope to disappear from everyone's lives. DA DA DAAAAAA!!!! Cut to a bit later and a bunch of kids come in all chatting about what DJ Puppy Jonas has done (he took a sexual picture of himself with his body pillow and then photoshopped a naked girl into it and then he uploaded it onto the interwebs. So now they're all laughing and making fun of him). Mieze comes in with them as well and heads to the bar to order some muffins. Anni asks her who they are all putting down today and she tells her that DJ Puppy Jonas uploaded this fake sex picture and now he thinks he's the greatest. Anni pulls the funniest almost smirk here and tells her that it sounds like puberty problems. Mieze then shakes her head and says "Yes, but honestly...why does he pull shit like that?". Anni looks away for a split second and I think in that second her mind must have drifted back to when a certain someone *cough Jasmin *cough* did pretty much the same thing last year. She quickly changes the subject and asks Mieze how many muffins she wants. 

Ep 5664 Now it's Jasmin who's working at the cafe. Not sure if it's still the same day but I'm going to assume yes because they are all still wearing the same clothes. Mieze is still sitting in the cafe but now she's listening to her ipod. Jasmin asks her if she wants anything else and she tells her no. As she listens to her music, Mieze has some cute flashbacks of DJ Puppy Jonas being all cute and she smiles as she remembers them. Lilly (DJ Puppy Jonas's sister) comes in and orders a coffee and asks how Mieze is. Mieze asks Lilly how Jonas is doing and she tells her that the photo was a really stupid thing to do, but that everyone makes mistakes. We then get shots of a frustrated DJ Puppy Jonas stomping around in his house. I love how Mieze says "A sex selfie with a pillow..." HAHA! And as she describes what he's done, you see Jasmin smirking away in the background. I love this. I love that Jasmin has grown enough since last year that she can smirk at what she did a year ago. 

Mieze asks Lilly if DJ Puppy Jonas has always been like this. She tells him no, that usually he's cool and she's not sure what's up with him right now. Mieze tells her that it's such an idiotic thing to do, that it's almost funny. Lilly tells her that she doesn't think it's that funny for him and she doesn't think he'll be leaving his room any time soon. Mieze thinks about it for a second and then tells Lilly that she'll go talk to him. Cut to a shot of DJ Puppy Jonas making a sandwich with his angry face on. DON'T MAKE A SANDWICH ANGRY, JONAS!!!

Recap of Ep 5662 (15.01.15)

Previously on GZSZ...Anni and Jasmin came back from Costa Rica and we could smell the trouble brewing from the moment they got back. Spending 24/7 together for 4 weeks was not ideal for Anni and she started showing signs of discomfort in the relationship. She ended up confiding this to Nele in the MW bathroom but unfortunately Jasmin overheard it... Ep 5662 We open with an adorable Jasmin waking up in bed. She looks around for Anni but she is not there. Suddenly she bursts in through the door, telling Jasmin that she woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep, so she went and got some croissants (that's what jetlag does to you). Anni also tells Jasmin that they can look through their vacation pictures too, because she went and had them printed. She climbs onto the bed and excitedly slaps down the packet of photos. Jasmin looks down at them and asks Anni if this is really what she wants. A confused Anni tells her, "Yes of course, why not?". Jasmin says "Well, it's enough already with this vacation, right? Always us, us, us...". Anni tells Jasmin that this doesn't sound like her. Jasmin looks solemn for a second before says "No, it sounds like you". Anni, who is still not quite following, asks her what she's talking about, as she loved their trip. Jasmin tells her that yes, except that it was just too long alone with her. She finally tells Anni that she overheard what she told Nele yesterday. Anni's face falls as Jasmin gets out of bed. She tells her that she was tired and irritated because she didn't want to go to the MW. She then says she would love to have breakfast with her now but Jasmin tells her that she's going to take a shower and then she has to go. She then throws in; "But hey, that's great, right? You'll have some me time!". With that she walks out, leaving a deflated Anni sitting there. 

Cut to later on and Anni has a huge print of her and Jasmin that she's holding against a picture frame. She mumbles to herself that it's never going to fit. Just then Nele comes home and asks her what she's doing. Anni tells her that the damn picture won't fit into the frame. Pretty sure you'll need a thing called scissors to cut it first...in order to make it fit into the the frame, Anni LOL! But how adorbs are they in this picture?

Nele tells Anni that the picture is beautiful and that she likes it. Anni then asks her if she thinks they look happy in it and in particular if SHE looks happy. It's weird how Anni comes across as not so sure when she asks Nele this. Shouldn't she know if she was happy or not when they took that picture? Hmmm...

Anni tells Nele that Jasmin overheard what they talked about in the bathroom yesterday. Nele asks her "And now?". Anni tells her that Jasmin is offended now, even though she totally didn't mean it the way Jasmin took it. Nele shoots her a look and Anni admits that maybe she did mean it, but still not exactly the way Jasmin took it. Anni then looks at the picture and pulls the most incredibly sweet face as she looks at Jasmin's picture and says "I love her". She continues by telling Nele that she's always there for Jasmin, especially now when she's down because of Nik. Nele interrupts her and tells her that she needs some time for herself as well. Anni agrees and tells Nele that now she's even CRAFTING! And she HATES crafting!! Awww you guys! Anni is CRAFTING for Jasmin! NOW THAT'S TRUE LOVE!!!!

Sorry, with all this CRAFT TALK, I just had to. Anni starts adorably trying to cut the photo out and within seconds she's fucked it up and calls Nele over. Nele tells her that she has excellent scissor skills and tries to take the picture from Anni but Anni tells her that she should do this herself. AWWW. TRUE LOVE YOU GUYS! Nele tells her that it's very heroic of her but that Jasmin doesn't need to know she helped her.  The next sequence I'm going to imagine was shot at various times of the day because otherwise it makes no sense that Nele is miraculously in two places at once. First, she's at her salon talking to Jasmin and apparently at the same time still talking to Anni back in the apartment. They cleverly cut back and forth between the two conversations, so bear with me. I'll just write their names next to their scenes, that might make it easier. JASMIN: Nele asks Jasmin if they had a good time on their vacation. Jasmin just stares at Nele in the mirror for a while and finally replies "Well, apparently not". ANNI: Anni is telling her that she LOVED their vacation and they had a great time. That if she hadn't have enjoyed herself, then Jasmin would have been able to tell immediately because she's really not that good at hiding when she's in a bad mood (yes, we know Anni!). JASMIN: She thought they were having the most amazing time together and now she has to hear from Anni that it apparently must have been a nightmare for her. ANNI: Where does it say that you HAVE to do everything together anyways. She brings up SHOPPING. And she HATES shopping. She says; "What's wrong with just going out for coffee?".  JASMIN: She can go shopping by herself any time but it's just not as fun. ANNi: And the constant talking blah blah blah. She just wants to read a book in peace every once and a while!  JASMIN: It's not true that they didn't spend a minute apart.  ANNI: And just when she really gets into a book, Jasmin gets bored. JASMIN: They picked one afternoon (only one?) where they would both do separate things. ANNI: She's not Jasmin's entertainer!  JASMIN: She doesn't even want to be constantly entertained. But why do people take trips together then, she asks.  ANNI: She figured she would go do some strength training by herself and guess who showed up after only 10mins? JASMIN: And then the yoga class was cancelled. That's not her fault!  ANNI: Since when is muscle building an interest for Jasmin?! JASMIN: And she still has to work out, right? They then sent her to strength training instead. Is that her fault? NO! ANNI: And why must she be the one to apologise for wanting to do something by herself, once in a while? She was single for years and there was a reason for that. Nele finally holds up the picture and asks how Anni likes it, she replies "Yeah, great...". Nele tells her that it comes from the heart and that's all that matters. Slight observation here though, why the hell is Anni putting ALL their coffee cups out onto the table during this scene?? Hmmm...And can I just stand up and applaud Nele, who has just sat through both of them ranting, and not said a peep?! Cut to Anni hanging up the new adorably framed picture in her bedroom. Cue Jasmin.

She steps in and says "It's beautiful". Anni turns around and asks "Yeah?" and Jasmin tells her "Yes, you...can be pretty sweet. Well it's definitely the nicest apology in a long time". And I love how right after she says this, a smirk appears on her face as she knows what Anni's reaction is going to be. And of course Anni takes the bait and says "Apology? Apology for what?". I love the way she turns around here...

And of course she can immediately tell from the grin on Jasmin's face that she's joking and she cracks up. 

God how adorable are these two? Jasmin then pulls the sweetest "I can't believe we fought over this, now come here" face and our monitors explode from all this cuteness.

Anni then gets serious and tells Jasmin she loves her. Jasmin says it back and we all melt into a pool of water.

     Anni explains that sometimes she just needs a little alone time and Jasmin tells her that she could spend 24/7 with her. Anni points out that she already does that. I love the way Jasmin is being all touchy-feely with Anni in this scene.

And the look that Jasmin gives Anni here, I cannot find words to describe it, but its FREAKING ADORABLE! It's kinda like "hey, it's not my fault you're so amazing that I want to spend ALL my time with you" face. Jasmin acknowledges that sometimes it's too much for Anni and Anni tells her it would be the same with ANY woman not just her. And that she should know her by now. Jasmin tells her that she thought maybe she would have changed her. Anni tells her that she HAS changed her and they both laugh. But Anni reminds her that she's still Anni and that it's a good thing. Because if they were both exactly the same, it would be totally boring. Again I love the way Jasmin is playing with Anni's jumper here...

Jasmin then gets a little more serious and asks that Anni promise her that the next time she gets too clingy to tell her straight away. At this point Anni looks down at Jasmin's hands, which are all over her, smiles and says "You're not clingy. Only sometimes". 

Jasmin quickly backs away, laughing. She hugs Anni and they sweetly kiss. God these two keep getting more and more adorable! They need to quit it before a plague of kittens comes bursting through my monitor! 

     Cut to later and Jasmin and Nele are chatting away about Katrin injuring her foot by tripping down the stairs, which makes Jasmin think about maybe giving her a call. 

Over at Nele's hair salon, Anni is sitting in one of the chairs, reading her textbook. This makes me think that Anni maybe had a little too much of "clingy Jasmin" and already escaped the apartment. She must be desperate if she's now studying in Nele's salon though. Enter macho Mesut, who asks her what she's doing in there. He starts being SUPER annoying and leans down over her, asking her if her book is any good. She tries to ignore him but he keeps being annoying. He puts hair gel on and dances around. Anni tells him to go ahead and shave if he wants to. He confusedly replies that it's a hair salon and that she can study at home. Anni exhales as you can see her starting to get more and more annoyed with him and tells him that she can't study at home as there are people there. He tells her there are people here too.

Mesut buddy, you better back the fuck down here, Anni is NOT HAPPY JAN! 

Back at the apartment, Jasmin is going through her mail and has gotten her credit card bill. She tells Nele that maybe she went a little overboard with spending while on vacation and now she has to try to figure out where she can cut her expenses. Nele suggests clothes and then rent. Jasmin fake laughs and asks Nele if she's supposed to go live under a bridge now.

Over at the salon, Anni looks like she's about ready to open a can of whoop ass on Mesut.

In an effort to win the award for MOST annoying person of all time, Mesut pretends to be a cowboy and that the scissors is a gun and fake shoots himself in the mirror, right above Anni's head. She turns around and asks him if he could go outside to play and in true 5yr old fashion he replies "I'm having fun here! Bang! Bang!". And in what I'm assuming is a tiny nod to the cowboy western quick draw face off, Anni stands up and says "This room isn't big enough for the two of us, OK?". She gives him the evil eye and he starts to back away and eventually Anni wins the round as he leaves. But booooy does she look pissed. 

At the apartment Nele is in the middle of trying to convince Jasmin that she should share a room with Anni, and save a bunch of rent, like her and Mesut do. NOOO don't listen to her. That would be a VERY bad idea. Especially after today. Jasmin agrees and tells Nele that Anni would not like that idea at all.

Recap of Ep 5661 (14.01.15)

Previously on GZSZ...the gang had a wake gathering for Nik at the cafe. Anni and Jasmin weren't sure if they should go to Costa Rica after everything that happened, but with Elena's blessing, they did.  And now we fast forward 4 agonising weeks where the girls were gone and it's now 2015 and THEY ARE BAAAAAACK!!!!

Ep 5661 We open at the cafe with Nele waiting on some tables, when all of a suddenly Anni and Jasmin literally BURST through the door. 

Anni announces their arrival with an ALOHA and it might just be me but it almost looks like Janina is pushing Linda through the door HAHA!  Nele and Ayla are VERY excited to see them, with Nele screaming FINALLY! As they put all their gear down, (is it weird that the cafe was the first place they came to and not straight home?) Nele asks them how it was. Jasmin tells them that Costa Rica is simply a dream and Ayla remarks that that's probably why John and Pia stayed there. She then comments that they both look great. Jasmin agrees and tells them that a bit of a tan is quite sexy. She then pulls Anni over for some cheek smooches and GOD HAVE WE MISSED THESE TWO!!!!

Nele asks if they have more photos, other than the ones they posted. Jasmin excitedly gets her phone out and rushes over to show them. The first one is of course, her wallpaper. Then she eagerly shows the girls the beach they stayed at, while Anni stands back a bit and just observes. 

While she has a slight smile on her face, we also get the very first glimpse that there might be a bit of trouble brewing in paradise. While Jasmin is excitedly telling the girls all about Costa Rica, the photos on her phone are all of Jasmin kissing Anni on the cheek. Nele remarks that they can't see any of beautiful Costa Rica because the two girls in the photo are blocking the shots. Anni snipes that the rest of the 200 photos won't be any better either. Jasmin turns around and tells Anni "Now don't complain. It's just that you're my favourite subject!" as she goes up to her again.

Jasmin takes another look at her phone and gets all excited about her photos again and turns back to the girls to continue showing them more pictures of Anni Costa Rica. And in the background, on Anni's face, you can see the second glimpse that not all is right. Anni is definitely NOT HAPPY JAN!

But I have to say, that their fake green screened holiday snapshots are ADORABLE you guys! Now that would have been a fun photo shoot to do for Linda and Janina (why couldn't we have gotten a behind the scenes look at that one huh RTL??? WHYYYY???).

After Ayla teases Jasmin again about the lack of scenery in her pictures, she steps back and tells them that they don't deserve her pictures, that even if they beg her, she won't show them any more. NAAAWWWW!

Jasmin then asks them if they want to celebrate later that evening at the MW. Ayla and Nele are super excited and say yes, but Anni tells them she is super tired from jetlag. Jasmin teases her saying; "You were the one looking forward to a good German beer!". But Anni just tells her that it will have to wait until tomorrow because right now she is going to bed. Jasmin complains that she isn't even sleepy, so Anni tells her that that's fine. Jasmin can stay here and she will go home and lie down. And with that Anni grabs her bags and leaves. Now it's Jasmin who doesn't look happy.  A bit later, we see that Jasmin was lying about not showing the girls any more pictures...because she is. She enthusiastically tells them stories about jungles and shows them a picture of the highest mountain in Costa Rica...except all you see, once again, is Jasmin kissing Anni. Nele jokes that all she sees is Anni's head. Jasmin fake laughs and tells them that she DOES have photos without Anni in it. She goes to show them but scrolls to a picture of Nik by accident. RUH ROOOH!. She gets a bit serious and asks Nele how Elena and Tuner are doing. Nele tells her that Tuner took Elena on a rally that he was supposed to do with Nik. Ayla tells her that Elena is a strong lady. Nele then tells Jasmin that she has something for her and gets a box out of the other room and gives it to Jasmin. She tells her that Elena asked her to give it to her and that it's full of Nik photos and other keepsakes. Nele asks her if she wants to open it now, but Jasmin tells her that she'll do it later at home. You can see by her reaction here, that she still hasn't quite processed Nik's death yet.    Cut to Anni back at the apartment. She comes into her room, closes the door behind her and lets out THE sexiest sigh I think I've ever heard. She must be SO FRIGGIN SUPER DOOPER EXCITED to be home alone, you guys! I'm almost tempted to say "I'll have what she's having!". 

     Just as she gets all settled on her bed, in comes Jasmin, holding her little box. Anni questions why she's home already as she thought she was going out. Jasmin tells her that they already went out and sits down on the bed with the box on her lap. Anni asks her what it is and Jasmin tells her that Nele gave it to her and that it's full of Nik's keepsakes. Jasmin tells her that she hasn't opened it yet but wants to open it with Anni. Anni stops unpacking and comes over to sit with Jasmin, "We'll do it together". As she opens the box we see a bunch of old photos of Nik and Jasmin and Anni notices Jasmin's demeanour change.  

As she starts going through the photos, she suddenly breaks down and, I think, cries properly for the first time since Nik's funeral. 

     Anni pulls her into a hug and tells her that it's OK. It's such a sweet yet heartbreaking moment. Kudos once again to Janina for being such a bad assed crier on demand.  A bit later on, and the mood has now changed to a happier reminiscent one. Jasmin tells happy stories behind some of the photos while Anni keeps unpacking. She shows one to Anni, who makes sexy noises at Jasmin's hot outfit in the picture and Jasmin cracks up. She comments that Nik was always there to help her whenever she needed him. And you can notice here, Anni stops what she is doing and comes and sits down next to Jasmin. I think she is trying her hardest to be the supportive girlfriend that Jasmin needs now. 

Just then, Nele and Ayla barge right in. And I say barge, because they literally leave like a 0.5 second pause after knocking before coming right in. I mean what if they had been gettin jiggy with it? Na na na na na na naaaa...  Nele is all LETS GOOOOO! Ayla suggests they go to the MW but Jasmin is unsure now. Anni tells her that she should go and have fun but she tells the girls that she'll stay home with Anni instead. Love the way she grabs Anni's leg here, awwwww.

Nele decides that Anni wants to come too. She grabs her hand but Anni just mutters "Anni wants to take a bath". Anni then hilariously fake grins up to Nele and Ayla after she says this. Ayla tells her that she has the rest of her life to take a bath. Which is true, but I think when someone has literally just come home from a long trip, and they want to relax and stay in and have a bath or whatever, that it's just rude to push them to come out with you #justsayin Ayla tells them that tonight, they party. Jasmin just sweetly smiles at Anni, and if I were Anni, I would cave too. The girls all YAAAAY and yell GIRLS NIGHT OUT! But Anni does not look happy AT ALL. She even asks them if she's allowed to take a shower first and Ayla tells her "Yes, that you can do". Anni, being the last one left in her room, repeats it back "That you can do". Awww she looks SO tired and SO not in the mood to party.  Cut to the MW, where Nele, Ayla and Jasmin all dance around while Anni sits at the bar. Anni orders another cup of coffee and when the bartender asks her what's up, she replies "Jetlag". He tells her to go to bed but she tells him that she needs to hold out a little longer and points over to Jasmin. She gives Jasmin a cute peace sign, to which Jasmin motions for her to come over. Anni just shakes her head no.

Now I don't know about you, but Anni is a partier. She always has been. When she declines to party, to me that indicates that she ACTUALLY doesn't want to party. But a drunk Jasmin runs over to her anyway to try and get her to dance. She says "Sweetie? You have to dance! It'll wake you up!". Anni tells her that she doesn't want to be awake but Jasmin tells her that it's GIRLS NIGHT OUT! But Anni tells her that she's done her duty just by being there. Jasmin then goes in for a kiss but Anni pulls away saying "Ugh, you're all wet!".

Jasmin then tells Anni to come dance, as it's only half fun without her and drags her out onto the dance floor. Anni lags behind saying "But I don't waaaant to dance".  

At this point, drunk Jasmin gets a little handsy with Anni and Anni snaps at her; "Hey, get your hands off me, you little brat".  Now some people have said that Anni was the one behaving like a little brat here, but I disagree. I know what jetlag can do to a person, and I know how whingy I can get when I have jetlag. So I think she's quite justified snapping here at Jasmin, because she's been forced to abandon her nice quite relaxing evening at home to come along. And now she's being dragged out to dance, when she clearly doesn't want to. She tried being reasonable with Jasmin already, but since she's drunk already, there's not really any reasoning to be done here.  Jasmin laughs at her and says "Did you just call me a brat?", to which Anni replies "Yes" and slaps Jasmin on the ass. You can see from Anni's reaction here that she's still trying to keep it light hearted and still has a sense of humour about everything, despite her jetlag. 

But as Jasmin dances off, Anni's expression changes again and she just looks super tired, annoyed and just wants to go home.  Cut to the MW toilets. Anni is washing her hands and Nele comes bounding in, all excited that Anni made it off the barstool. She tells Nele that she wishes she was in the bathtub right now instead. Nele says "The things you do for your friends, right?". And Anni just mumbles an "Mmmm". She turns around, looking down at the ground and Nele asks her if everything is OK. Anni tells her that after a 4 week couple vacation together, spending an evening by herself would have been nice. She goes on to tell Nele that this 24/7 symbiosis is really not her thing and that Jasmin wants to do EVERYTHING together. She then tells Nele that she's surprised that she was even allowed to go to the bathroom by herself. Nele sympathises with her but Anni tells her; "Never mind, it's probably just overkill and it'll pass. And next time, I'll only go on a two week vacation with her, and it'll be fine". Nele agrees with her and they leave. Just then, who should emerge from one of the other cubicles?? JASMIN! RUUUHHH ROOOOHHHHH!!!!!

    And while I certainly feel for her and want to give her a hug, I can understand Anni. Jasmin has just lost Nik, so I can imagine Anni wouldn't have wanted to say anything to her while they were on vacation. And now that they are back, she was hoping to get a little more distance, but it's not happening so far. Mix Anni's frustration with her jatlag and boom this is what happens. Nele just happened to be around when Anni had finally had enough. She wouldn't have had anyone to talk to about it while they were on vacation. And yes, she could have talked to Jasmin, but again I believe that Anni thought that Jasmin was in a fragile state at the moment and didn't think it was a good time to bring it up. Either way, trouble is brewing with a capital TR! Recap of Ep 5638/50 (05/23.12.14)

Previously on GZSZ...crying, sadness and Nik's funeral. Ep 5638 We open at Nik's wake which is being held in the cafe. The gang all stand around, staring at a picture of Nik and Tuner toasts to him. Everyone half heartedly toasts back but Tuner turns around and tries to get them to be more cheerful.

Tuner thanks all those involved with setting everything up and Alex, only Alex, claps really loudly at this. You can see Anni turning around all amused at this. Tuner tells them all to dig in and celebrate, but people still look a little too melancholic. Dr G approaches Elena and tells her that if she ever needs anything, that she is still family now. Jasmin tells Elena to come sit with them at the table and Anni sweetly grabs her a juice. 

Jasmin says that it was so beautiful by the lake and Ayla says that she thinks Dr G really liked the ceremony also. Nele's glad that he changed his mind and Anni agrees, saying "Yeah, family tomb...excuse me?". Mesut says that they should go visit the lake more often now. And as the gang chit chat around Elena, we slowly zoom in on her face and see that she not dealing well at all. After they finish eating, Anni and Jasmin go to get up and we get this cute little look exchanged between them. NAAAAAWWWW!

Jasmin tells Anni that she wanted to talk to her about the flight and Anni tells her that she also wanted to bring that up. Dr G and Sophie come over to say their goodbyes and hug Elena before they leave. Emily then gets a call that she has to pick up Kate and asks Tayfun to go with her and they both leave.  Cut to a bit later and the gang is still at the cafe "celebrating" Nik's life. Nele thinks the term "Funeral Feast" just sounds weird, after Mesut has told them that in Turkey they celebrate someone's death for 3 days.

Ayla explains that the family and friends all get together and share stories of the deceased. Tuner looks over at Elena, who doesn't really look like she's all there. Jasmin then tells them that she thinks they will get going but offers to help clean up first. Elena tells her that there's no need as they will take care of it and besides they are going to Costa Rica tomorrow.

Jasmin tells her that they will cancel it and Elena hopes it's not because of her. Everyone goes silent for a moment until Elena says "I'm not going to stay here anyway" and they all question her why...but she tells them that she is headed back to London. Ayla asks Elena what she's going to do in London all by herself. She tells them that it was very sweet, the way she was welcomed here by them all and they all proceed to tell her "Of course" "You belong here now!". Not sure if Anni says something funny here and it was cut out but it sure looks that way...ORRR keep reading for my other theory. Elena tells them that Nik has the best of friends and Tuner pipes up to say "And now they your friends now". Anni replies with "I mean, what else? Excuse me?" and everyone laughs. I suspect that that previous shot of Anni laughing was cut from the end of this shot and inserted up above.

BTW how sweetly is Jasmin looking at Anni above??? Elena tells them all that they're really sweet but that she's made her decision. We then see Tuner pacing back and forth and muttering "But I promised him" under his breath. Jasmin overhears him and asks him about it. He tells her and Anni that he made a promise to Nik to look after Elena, as his last words to him were "Take care of Elena". He asks them how he's supposed to do that if she goes back to London. Anni tells him that there's not much he can do about it. It's not like he can chain her up here.

Elena comes down the stairs and it's clear that she has just overheard this last conversation. Tuner tells her that she wasn't supposed to know about that. She tells him that he shouldn't feel responsible for her, no matter what Nik said to him. And then we get this beautiful shot of Anni.

Elena tells him that she can look after herself, that she always has and that he shouldn't worry about her. They then sweetly hug. Cut to the next morning. Tuner is looking over the cafe roster for the next week, which pretty much only has Nik and Katha listed on it. Anni tells Tuner that Katha now can't work for a while. And he tells her that MAYBE if Elena stayed, they might have managed but at the moment, with only Ayla, they cannot. Cue concerned faces all around. 

Anni says that they can kiss Costa Rica goodbye then but that they'll all manage somehow. Elena comes down the stairs and seeing their faces, asks them if there's a problem. They all quickly answer no. She takes the roster from Tuner and looks at it and after an awkward silence, she tells them that she'll take Nik's shifts. She tells Anni and Jasmin that they can now go on their vacation and Tuner can go to rehab. Tuner smiles at her and asks her if she's staying then and she tells him that she will stay at least until he gets back. Anni gets super excited and can hardly believe it. She thanks her and they all give Elena big hugs. Notice the way Jasmin does her little shoulder squeeze again when she hugs Elena. 

     Ep 5650 Jasmin and Anni are currently in Costa Rica, so the only notable thing in this episode was Jasmin texting her little sister this cute holiday photo.
