Delusional

My ankles feel fused, feels right, fitting, like a dismorphia localized in my legs. The feeling is right

Right turns to good, good turns to amazing, amazing turns to pleasure, pleasure becomes ecstasy. Ringing numbness climbs my body, static clinging to my nerves.

From my feet up my legs, causing my conjoined knees to writhe and forcing my head back. My hips tingle and the numbness takes my fingers, choking the air from my lungs as the pressure begins to take me, a smile rising through my body as my breathing stops: I'm barely able to remind myself that the smile isn't mine.

As a submerged entity rises up in my mind, reveling in its own blinding presence, it's gaze like that of a basilisk washes over my body. My mind is, in a way, turned stiff as that of the entity only grows sharper. The last thoughts I have before the darkness takes me are what if I wasn't real at all
