I'd always heard it as "free of woe" so whoops I guess the Wednesday kids are getting gaslighted into being happy ig? 🤣
It's a little surprising that the "Monday's child is fair of face" nursery rhyme never caught on as an arbitrary personality-assigner in the same way astrology did. It makes the same amount of sense.

I saw this post on Facebook today, and was gonna make a joke about how he's so good in the lab because, when it comes to experiment samples, he knows you gotta keep 'em separated.
But I happened to search the lyric online really quick, and found this:
AMAZING. It's actually where the line came from! Bravo, sir.

REMEMBER:
✨ A woman doesn’t have to have a vagina.
✨ A man doesn’t have to have a penis.
✨ A body part ≠ a gender identity.
✨ Trans women are just as women as cisgender women.
✨ Trans men are just as men as cisgender men.
✨ Not all nonbinary people look androgynous. And no they don't owe you androgynous.
✨ Not all genderfluid people "switch" day by day. There is no rules of being genderfluid.
✨ Not all agender people want to be invisible. Being agender has nothing to do with being visible.
✨ Not all intersex people want to be "explained." They have nothing to explain, they are normal people with their own identities.
✨ Not all trans people want surgery. It's all their own choice.
✨ Not all queer folks want your approval.
✨️Personality or style/appearance has nothing to do with gender.
✨️Every person deserves to be called with the pronouns they prefer no matter what.
✨️Not all genderqueer/transgender/nonbinary people experience dysphoria. Not experiencing dysphoria is as valid as experiencing dysphoria.
✨️Not all asexual people feel no love.
✨️Asexual people don't have to be aromantic.
✨️Aromantic people don't have to be asexual.
✨️Xenogenders and neopronouns are concepts created by people (many of whom are neurodivergent) who are trying to understand gender in their own unique way, and they are perfectly valid.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY:
✨️Existing as a person is valid and valuable enough. People don't have to label themselves or put themselves into boxes. There is no "gender rules/labeling rules", labels are meant to make people comfortable. Not to put people into boxes.
IF I SKIPPED AN IMPORTANT FACT, MY APOLOGIES. I WILL ADD THAT FACT IF YOU DM ME OR COMMENT!

TIL the reason you don’t find much Lyme’s Disease in California is not because we don’t have Ticks, or Lyme Disease Vectors; but rather: because the Western Fence Lizard (if you live anywhere in California this is your regular Garden Variety Lizard) has adapted a passive immune response that makes their blood lethal to Lyme Disease Bacteria. Any Tick that feeds on one gets its gut cleansed of Lyme Disease as a side effect.
Fucking neat.

Yoooooooo
So the government just defunded PBS and NPR which is fucked. That being said, the public can cover the damage if we orginize and donate.
Only about $1.60 of tax dollars per US citizen per year are spent on the public broadcasting budget. NPR and PBS offer beong able to make small monthly donations, some being 7$ per month or lower if you want.
If you want to donate 1.60$ per month to your local station, you can multiply how much funding they get from you by 12. If you do their monthly donation of $7 per month, your donation can equal the tax dollars of 54 people spent on public broadcasting per year.
If you want to donate to your local station, look them up by your town here to make sure your local stations get helped specifically:

Next time I get to see the ocean is probably February
Can you believe that there are people who live so close to the ocean that they can just think “hey, I should go to the ocean” and then they just do???

Every person need to be taught disability history
Not the “oh Einstein was probably autistic” or the sanitized Helen Keller story. but this history disabled people have made and has been made for us.
Teach them about Carrie Buck, who was sterilized against her will, sued in 1927, and lost because “Three generations of imbeciles [were] enough.”
Teach them about Judith Heumann and her associates, who in 1977, held the longest sit in a government building for the enactment of 504 protection passed three years earlier.
Teach them about all the Baby Does, newborns in 1980s who were born disabled and who doctors left to die without treatment, who’s deaths lead to the passing of The Baby Doe amendment to the child abuse law in 1984.
Teach them about the deaf students at Gallaudet University, a liberal arts school for the deaf, who in 1988, protested the appointment of yet another hearing president and successfully elected I. King Jordan as their first deaf president.
Teach them about Jim Sinclair, who at the 1993 international Autism Conference stood and said “don’t mourn for us. We are alive. We are real. And we’re here waiting for you.”
Teach about the disability activists who laid down in front of buses for accessible transit in 1978, crawled up the steps of congress in 1990 for the ADA, and fight against police brutality, poverty, restricted access to medical care, and abuse today.
Teach about us.
