I want to tell you about a strange dream I had a few years back. I was a marine researcher, diving deep into the ocean. Next thing I know me and a fellow researcher found ourselves in a colony of sea creatures that were more like entities than physical beings. We were told they were whales. I found that really weird because they did not look like whales. We were invited to study their culture. There was an undersea cave entrance, we were told not to say anything as this was a holy place of some kind. We walked between sea beings with whale tails and big heads and were led to a hut, where we were dressed in their garments and jewelry. We were to meet their leader, a gender less being that was bigger than the others. They radiated kindness and curiosity, they showed us their world, they told us about the danger my kind posed to the world. I understood and felt bad, I had a strong feeling of wanting to learn as much as I could from them. They explained that they'd been there for millions of years, and all the beings had a serene aura about them. Like their knowledge of the world was so big nothing could phaze them. We soon discovered the other reason that we had been dressed up. The other beings had also dressed up for a festival or feast, and we were invited to participate. It was glorious, we got glimpses into ancient knowledge and the knowledge calmed us down. Then, as the festival was at its peak, the beings started drifting through one by one through an entrance. We were forced to follow, because all the beings were cramping together. I looked up, and saw the view just like in these pictures. Whales in some sort of tonic state of sleep. I realized that was what all these being was going to be doing. I tried to ask what this was, and I was informed that the whales had to go into this dormant state in order to preserve something important. Like they would meditate in this state and transmit waves of thought and knowledge to the surface, meaning humans and other animals. They meant to heal the world, to bring that serenity to the surface, to bring humans their knowledge. They were sending energy, like some quantum physic phenomena. I wanted so much to take part in this ritual, but the sight of the silent, still whales drifting vertically in the deep sea scared me. I was told these whales would not wake up from this state for many hundred years. That also scared the hell out of me, yet absolutely fascinated me. Somewhere around this time, I woke up.
I had absolutely no idea that some whales actually sleep like this and I had a double take upon seeing this on TV one day. I got chills to see that exact view that I saw in my dream on Blue Planet. I think of this dream every time I see pictures or video of sperm whales sleeping. It was so vivid, so long and I remember it in such detail, even though it obviously has the surreality of dreams with the skipping between events and sudden changes in environment. I just wanted to share this dream with someone, as it has stuck with me ever since dreaming it and the weirdest part is that whales sleeping vertically was so bizarre to me that I was scared of it in my dream and then I found out its a real thing.

If I walk into a dark room, my brain tells me "imagine a dark creature like in that manipulated picture you once saw by accident on some fucker's Facebook page creeping up to you and by the time you turn on the lights it's either hiding or right in front of you ready to devour you". That or "the aliens have come for you".

My spider plant had a baby!
Story time: this plant came from a propagation of my grandmother's plant, who is no longer with us. She gave my mother a bunch of saplings before she passed, and they've been propagating like crazy! About a year ago, I got this from my mother and I've been trying really hard to not kill it, because I'm not really good with plants, and I couldn't bear the thought of this plant that's been through several generations dying. So I stepped up my game and with the help from my husband started caring for it, googling and learning from YouTube. A few weeks ago I noticed this new stalk that wasn't a leaf, and I've been so excited to watch it grow more and more each day(these grow really fast!). The other day, the baby plant even bloomed with a single white flower! It only lasted a day and my mother said she had never seen her plants do that(I'm sure they've bloomed as well but the flower stopped blooming within hours so I bet it's easy to miss).
Now, the baby has grown so big I've had to prop it up with a tiny branch and I put a tiny baby pot under it to encourage it to develop roots. I plan to plant it and get as many out of these as possible.

I posted this to the wrong blog LOL I'm too lazy to make another one so here.
Mori style outfit for autumn. It’s so cozy!! It’s an upcycled dress from wish.com(I put in a zipper and covered it with lace) and the underskirt I made from an old singlet and some thrifted curtains. Complete with home-knit socks.

Finally got to organize my cupboard a little bit. I discarded the packaging and put all my flours and the sugar into Tupperware and boxes with cute labels. They're in Norwegian, since I'm Norwegian lol.

My latest project, pictures taken at the lolita picnic I went to with @saga-carolin 💕 This dress literally cost me 1 USD, the fabric is an old curtain I got from a local flea market a while back. And I managed to make it in 1 day!! That's a new personal best for sure. I had to make a new dress for this event, because I'm 8 months pregnant and none of my dresses or skirts fit me anymore! The babybump gave me a great poof 😍 And this dress was sooo comfy!! I want to wear it every day! Perhaps I'll wear it to my next outing~
