Two Best Friends in a Room-They Might Kiss

Synopsis/tags: Two best friends tease each other a lot and engage in a playful “fight” that ends with them kissing for the first time, mutual pining, fluff, friends to lovers(?)

Notes: FLUFF<3333, best read in dark mode

Homework discarded (whether by choice or not) you both continued with your friendly banter, faces getting closer and closer within each passing second, as you kept spewing different ‘insults’ and such.

It hadn’t quite hit you both that your noses were almost brushing against each other as you continued to playfully glare into each other’s eyes.

You were the first to notice, eyes going wide, the boy started to tease you for your flustered state, not quite realizing your proximity yet.

Wanting to catch him off guard you did the unthinkable and you flashed him a small mischievous (a bit nervous) smile, and you pecked him on the lips quickly before you turned away and tried to focus on your homework. Key word: tried.

Boy is frozen in place. You have to snap your fingers in front of his face for him to come back, and when you do his cheeks become red.

Why would you do this to the poor boy? He actually squeaked when your lips touched. He’s already shy as it is and now you’ve probably killed him. Also, he faints.

“Well, it’s about time.” As if he isn’t blushing at all. He thinks it isn’t that noticeable. It is by a smidge.

This man pulls you to him and forces you to look into his eyes. As if to tease you he leans close with an unreadable smile. He leans closer to your face only to pull away and act as if he didn’t do anything.

He laughs a little and pulls you to him, wasting no time kissing you.
