Site Setting

I finally settled on a setting after going and back and forth for weeks.

Things will be taking place in the wizarding UK in the year 2013 - 15 years post-DH.

A Profile Preview

It is all set on dark mode BUT there is a light mode feature, if that's your think. There is a free form space (marked tba). The site will either have a shipper app where the free form space you can do what you want with, or profile app where the free from space is your app.

A neat discovery about the skin! A board that is posted in, changes to that group color based on the last post! It will also change font to the same gradient as the group the account is sorted into.

I have also realized I haven't really touched/modified coding in so long, I'm struggling to test / update things to how I want them. What a learning curve. And it looks like I'll be making sure I triple check member group colors to make sure they aren't harsh on the eyes between light & dark modes.

In other news, I am still looking for staff help. You can join the discord if you have interest in filling the roll. I am looking for someone that knows/is familiar with coding and utilizing discord apps/tools!

Let me know which post dh time frame you'd be interesting in exploring! 10 years post, making the site year 2008 or 15 years post dh, making the site set in 2013? (I am leaning toward this one.)

Sneak Peak!

As promised, a sneak peak at the guidebook! I have yet to determine exact the year the site will be set it. It will be post-dh, I just haven't decided if it will be 5, 10 15 or more years after.

Whew

I forgot how tedious it is writing up a guidebook! A few more sections need to be written and it will be done! A screenshot will be coming soon (probably tomorrow) once I figure out where I broke some coding. Oooopsss.

Hi! I'm currently on a staff search! Below are the things I'm looking for:

Previous site staff experience(s)

Be 18 or older

Committed to helping build the site, keep things going, come up with new event ideas, improvements, etc.

Be able to approach member questions thoughtfully, respectfully

Follow the server and site rules (staff are no exception in my opinion)

Must have jcink experience, especially with using the acp and mcp

Obviously, you have to like the hp universe

Bonus points if: you know/understand coding and/or are good at making graphics (although we really only need site ads for graphics wise, which i have done)

Bonus, bonus points if you know how to utilize discord / discord apps/tools etc.

This is mostly a character driven site, no canons (but they can be made), very loose on what happens to said canons except for the ones that are in fact written as deceased. It will be post-dh but, I haven't determined an exact setting just yet.

I do have some side plots ideas

I don't plan on having a specific activity requirement beyond just monitoring. Any lengthy periods of time (like a month or more) without signs of activity are subject to review

I'm still in the site/discord phases but have the layout how I would like it to be

Another Preview!

I am getting boards organized with the skin. The thing I love about this skin is that I can customize the size of the boards. It's been fun playing around but, I think I've nailed down a good look, now it's down to adding in some images !

Hello There!

The Color of Magic is/will be a new hp rp, jcink premium site! I'm in the site/site discord building stages after months of slowly working on it I took the leap and fully committed to getting things complete! The exact setting of the site is tbd BUT I can say it will be some time post DH with fluid canons. This means there will not be a canons list and we will not stick with what happens to those canons post DH - you can do what you would like with them. There will be a claim in the discord, so guests/members can see what's available!
