It's a lot healthier to go for a daily walk than to sign up for a gym membership you won't be using because you hate that kind of exercise. It's a lot healthier to eat a frozen meal than to skip a meal because you were too tired to cook something healthy. It's a lot healthier to take a quick shower than to procrastinate an elaborate routine for days. Don't aim so high that you won't be hitting anything!

I heard about this earlier but this is phenomenally good news because a lot of these manuscripts hold palestinian intellectual history dating back centuries and my friends who work in the Islamic book history field believed these all to be gone

If you think the main draw to Pride and Prejudice is "enemies to lovers with a rich man" then you've explicitly missed the point.

Hey, I know we haven't talked in a really long time, but I just wanted to say I've missed you and I hope you're doing well! I'm living with my fiancée and working a job I really like. I'm running a DnD Kids on Bikes hybrid game set in the Pixie Hollow world and I'm super proud of it, and I know for a fact I'd definitely not be able to do it if you hadn't helped me so much and encouraged me when I was so new in the ttrpg world. The fact that the Bad Kids chose to bring Gilear with them on spring break and then have to spend every fight trying to keep him alive is so funny. Absolutely negative value ally. Truly nothing but a liability. I love him so much.

Mr. Bennet: Sure, I haven't taken care of my daughters' financial security, but have I at least taken care of their education? No. But have I taken care of their emotional needs? Also no. saddest thing ever is seeing new 18-22 year olds talk about how Christmas doesn't feel magical anymore during their transition from it being a super special day of the year to kinda just another average day of the year. I remember that feeling well, and I just want to say to those young people specifically: if you want the magic back you have to create it yourself now, the way you want to. it's your magic now
