I guess I’m just writing this to get this out there and maybe to speak up for people who live in similar situations. I live with someone who verbally abuses us, us being my mother and I. We moved here back in June into an apartment with my mothers boyfriend, which in my opinion my mom could have done much better. Now this piece of shit loves to sit around on his computer/xbox all day talking to his “friends”. Recently (less then an hour ago and it’s 1:30 pm here) he started yelling and swearing at my mom and threatening to kick us out and beat up my older brother (i have 2 older brothers) over a joke my brother made about a tarot card reader (it was over some commercial that made this lady tarot reader look like some great reader). I was sitting right there when my brother made this comment and so was my mother and my brothers girlfriend. This happened on Saturday afternoon/night and he somehow took offence to that (he works for a line that does tarot readings). Now that my brother is gone (he’s 29 and was visiting from thrusday to sunday) he’s going on and on about how he should have done this and that and basically talking a lot of shit, so I recorded it this time. He also lies all the time after a fight (which happens almost every month over money/random shit over facebook) saying he didn’t say certain things when both my mom and I heard it. He does this almost every fight him and my mom have, threatening to kick us out and/or break up with my mom and twisting what my mom even just said to him to what he thinks she said/did (even when I’m sitting right there or in the other room and can hear everything). I’m really tempted to call the cops on him over criminal threats since I even feel in danger of stepping out of my own room.
