The big secret to finishing stories is sitting down and doing it.  That’s it.  A lot of people will only write when they’re inspired, and that’s setting yourself up to fail.  Nobody can be inspired 100% of the time.  You can be inspired 10%, 20%, maybe even 50% of the time.  The rest of it is discipline and it’s essential you teach yourself that if writing finished stories is a long-term goal.

Hey everyone,

So you might have noticed a post I made the other day about my debut novel, which is officially out! (Well, technically it has been available since November, but there were some formatting issues that needed to be resolved), and it is available in both hardback and ebook!

When Scarlett, a nurse at St. Rose Hospital makes the decision to murder one of her patients after hearing a voice in her head, she meets Death, the Grim Reaper personified, and only she seems to be able to see him. Unsure of her sanity, she decides to find out for herself whether or not he is real. Taking matters into her own hands, Scarlett turns down a path that she never thought she would. With people’s lives hanging in the balance, her decisions impact the whole city, but who could blame her, when a coffee date with Death himself is on the line?

I’m published with a little indie publishing house out of Australia, so the price and the shipping is a little high, but I would love the support (and I know that they would too).
