Kunzite hummed in thought, her tail flicking about. "Things about this world that even those belonging to it don't know....?" She echoed in a soft murmur, a tiny shudder darting down her spine. "Exciting~~~" She gushed, her tone almost chirpy in pitch.
Her tail flicked about faster and faster as her mind began racing, until it was at the point of just whipping about in a frenzy. "Maybe I can get some extra time off~" She murmured to herself, "That would be nice!"
She turned to look at Itto, beaming. Even if her choices for exploration on this 'tour' were a bit unconventional for the average visitor, she at least seemed to be having the time of her life!
"Just in general, well, that ain't too hard to work with, really. I've handled my share of rather curious folks before,"
Seeing and knowing everything might take a bit though, given that the nation was comprised of multiple islands, each of which had its own secrets to share if one knew where to look. As for the Oni, he knew what sorts of things were upon each and every one of them, they weren't things that most people really thought of, which made it even better. He understood a thirst for knowledge, really, though if it went into dangerous territory he'd put a stop to it if possible. There were places that nobody should rightfully wander, after all.
There wasn't really anything hidden upon any island, even the ones that used to confuse people was freely able to be traversed now since the issue causing the perpetual fog that did such a thing had been long since cleared up. Did the Yokai know how that came to be? No, the spirits upon the island weren't rude or cruel to any extent, though they didn't know how to fog cleared. So he couldn't learn from them either. Some of them mentioned a golden ship they needed to get to but they had business they needed to finish first. If capable of aiding them reach that ship, he did so.
"There's a lot about this world that even those of us who were born here don't know, one such thing is how big it really is."
He knew there was a place that nobody went to, it was simply titled the 'Dark Sea' though, he had no idea what all existed therein, but he knew that there were dark beings there, as well as landmasses, since there were creatures, and Gods that fled. The information on that place was minuscule, but the amount of dark Gods that lurked was more than enough to set most people on edge. It was a good thing that particular information wasn't common knowledge, and he had no reason to share it.

With a final spin and flourish, M'yana ended her performance. As she tried to filter out of the crowd, the hidden exhaustion in her eyes steadily grew more prominent. With each step she took, another person stopped her to talk.
If there was ever a time to interrupt, it was now. To the observant eye, she clearly wanted out of the crowd- but was too polite to tell the onlookers directly to just go away.
On her way back to her current abode, the former acting Hydro Archon got herself piqued by the sudden flock of the crowd in the street. What could be the fuss about, she thought. As she didn't have much to do for the rest of the day, she tried sneaking through the crowd for a closer look at who was catching their attention.
A dancer? Not only did it seem like the performer wasn't a native of her nation. There's something a bit odd from her too, yet Furina couldn't just point it out without concrete evidence. Not that she'd want to ruin one's show anyway.
As she went closer, despite the little space to get there, she watched the dancer like some kind of a critic. Alluring, with poise. One would indeed see it as perfect. But Furina somehow noticed the exhaustion in that person's eyes. Should she interrupt though?

"Just..." Kunzite trailed off, trying to figure out if there was any possible way she could narrow it down. But, unfortunately, the scope was to broad. "...just in general." She eventually stated with a small shrug. "I want to know everything, I want to see everything."
"If there's a mystery or secrets to be found, I want to find them." Depending on whose perspective was asked, the sentiment could certainly be a dangerous one. A thirst for knowledge that could only be described as primal, no consideration for if some of the discoveries to be had were hidden for good reason.
"I mean, just imagine it. If you knew a world inside and out... The possibilities are endless for what you could do with that information. "You could simply catalogue it, you could bring it to other worlds... You could test the boundaries and expand on the knowledge itself..." She shuddered from the anticipation of such notions, before frowning. "A shame that it would certainly take some time before that level of understanding could even be seen on the horizon. Oh well, what's a indeterminate amount of lifetimes in the grand scheme of things when you have eternity!"
"The storm itself ain't as intense as it used to be, it's primarily around Amakumo Peak more so than anywhere else now,"
He knew that from how often he went there. He was on that island a lot, gathering both Naku Weed, and Amakumo Fruit, things that Shinobu used in medicines. They helped treat various things as well, which was nice. He had a salve he carried with him that treated Electro inflicted wounds. He knew it worked since he'd been shot by Kujou Sara before, an Electro infused arrow going clean through his right shoulder. It had been the Tengu's means to make him drop his weapon back then.
"Well, ya can't really learn if ya don't ask or theorize, really. When ya think about it, at least. Plus, this ain't the world you're from, so ya won't really know what is right or wrong about a place unless ya ask."
He didn't seem bothered by the fact that she was from a different world than the one they were currently on. After all, he knew someone else who wasn't from it. Well, perhaps he didn't KNOW them, know them, but they'd aided Inazuma in the past and were working through the other nations on their quest, too.
"On Seirai Island, or another one? Cause I'm sure there's plenty that ya can learn... on just about any island."

Kunzite was quiet as she processed all the new information given, thoughtful. She chewed at her bottom lip, tail swaying lazily. If the storm was a manifestation of regret, then she supposed it could lead credence to the theory that the creature's soul was restless. But, hearing that the storm made for prime conditions for Naku Weed to grow in, she also understood why it might be beneficial for the storm to linger in some way.
"I have to admit," She eventually spoke up after a while, "It's kinda fun theorizing and trying to guess things about the world." Sure, it was a little frustrating when she got things wrong, but overall so far it was a positive.
"What other mysterious things are there?" She murmured, eyes glinting a little in excitement.
"For me, it only tingles a bit, I'm fast enough to dodge the lightnin' strikes so I've never been hit before,"
As someone who wasn't a mortal he wasn't really bothered by the energy there, the storm was something else though, and the Oni knew that much. He also knew how to find proper places to hide out whenever it began to rain which allowed the Electro to spread onto the nearby ground. Not fun if one valued their body not being fried to some extent for sure. He was intelligent enough to know how to handle most survival situations though.
"It ain't the Thunderbird itself that's affectin' the island, but the embodiment of the creature's regret."
Now, he COULD be wrong about that, in all truth, a lot of people thought the Thunder Manifestation was the child of the Thunderbird, but it was likely that the Yokai was correct in his words. It was something that felt right to him. He was older than he looked, or acted, but he wasn't aware of that given the discrepancies in his memories. Not that she would be aware of that since he was unaware himself.
"I remember hearin' at one point that the Archon sealed the remains of the Thunderbird somewhere on Seirai Island. As for Naku Weed, it's known for growin' in areas of high Electro Concentration, and what batter place than one constantly under the effects of a perpetual storm of it?"

"Is it not painful to be up and close to it? Or is it not really a thing to be that sensitive to magic and energies here...?" Kunzite looked thouhtful as she went over the rest of the information in her head. "I can't help but feel pity for this 'Thunderbird', though... It must be restless and unable to move on if it still affects the island so."
"Has anyone ever tried properly laying it to rest to disperse the storm? Or is the storm just an independent phenomenon now?" She sighed, ever so slightly frustrated that all she could do was guess for possible solutions to the problem.
"It's a bit amazing that plants still grow there. I'd imagine the turbulent energies would make it a bit too stifling for any life to really thrive there. Is it it an important plant, if you have to make regular trips to gather it?"
"Well, bein' an Oni gives me a bit of an unfair advantage with my natural strength,"
He had trained for years, of course, she wouldn't know that since she didn't know him that well, but the Oni didn't mind explaining a bit if it was necessary. She was genuinely curious about Teyvat, and he had no reason to withhold any information so long as it was common knowledge, such as the names of the nations, and the elements they presided over. Oh, and the fact that Archons were gods and actually had physical bodies.
"The Archon destroyed the Thunderbird there, the storm is due to the remnants of that power, manifestin' as a Thunder Manifestation. A monster that needs to be cut down every so often, but it always regenerates."
As she mentioned that the energy was ominous he'd nod, and he'd traversed that island a lot before, he knew how it felt up close, and personal. Really. He'd also dealt with the Thunder Manifestation before, a multitude of times, even. He'd chuckle softly as she mentioned it being debilitating up close.
"It ain't for the faint of heart, that's for fuckin' sure, I've been there, I go there every couple weeks to gather Naku Weed, a plant that grows here in Inazuma."

Kunzite looked both surprised and impressed to hear that Geo hadn't been used at all in his ascent up the cliff. "You must do that often, then, as well as enjoy it, to do that so easily without using any magic."
As she followed his points with her eyes she was quiet, appreciating the view. Though, when Seirai island was pointed out she seemed to almost... zone out for a few seconds upon looking at the violent storm over the island. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end, goosebumps feathered down her arms, and the feathers on her wings ruffled.
When she snapped back to reality, it was paired with a shudder. "That... Seirai island. What happened there? Even from all the way over here... The energy is..." She trailed off, searching for the words that would accurately express how she felt. "...ominous, borderline overwhelming... I can only imagine it'd be debilitating up close."
He'd had a lot of practice, but being an Oni made scaling cliffs pretty easy for him. If he heard her whistle he'd not mention it because he didn't think anything of it. He didn't seem to mind her having been staring either, it was likely because he might have figured that she'd never seen a show of such raw strength before. He liked to rock climb but that had nothing to do with his element, really, he was one who just liked to be active he supposed. He'd watch as she flew up, grinning a bit wider as she landed next to him with relative ease.
"Geo has nothin' to do with my raw strength, that's all from my blood as an Oni. So, I guess the answer to that question is that I can just do it,"
The fact that he enjoyed doing it meant he did it as often as he could, his element might be something people assumed led to his love of rock climbing but that wasn't the case for him. He loved being active, exercising was a big part of what he did. He went hiking, swimming, rock climbing, things like that all because he liked to.
"Yeah, this view lets ya see a big part of this island. Over that way ya can see Kannazuka, and over there ya can see Seirai, it's the one with the angry purple swirlin' above it."
He'd likely point out a few more places around them, the view was one of his favorites, but it was one of many. He loved a great many of them, and if he needed to he'd show her more on the other islands if she wished to visit them.

Kunzite whistled softly as she watched the Oni fling and climb himself up the cliff. She... didn't even want to imagine how long it took to build up the physical strength to do something like that and make it look so easy. The dragon snapped out of her thoughts when she noticed Itto smiling at her expectantly, the woman coughing and trying to appear as if she hadn't been staring. Of course, not that she had been staring weirdly! It was just a really impressive feat to witness!
She spread her wings and flew up the cliffside, landing gracefully next to the Oni. "That was impressive." She observed calmly, "Is that something you can just... do? Or is Geo part of it, too?"
She trailed off from her thoughts yet again, her attention this time being snatched away by the view. Her mouth dropped open with a soft gasp, eyes widening slightly. "You can see so far from here..." She whispered absentmindedly. He was certainly correct when he said this was a sight she couldn't really find anywhere else... She was hard pressed to think of anywhere back home that looked like this.
"I don't doubt that,"
He knew his friend was a good person though, so Ayato just knowing things never bothered the Oni. He could also just know things. Like how he'd figured out the other male's true identity without ever having been told. It was fine he'd never tell anyone that his 'bro' was even more super awesome than he already claimed he was.
"We're almost there. It's right up on a cliff. Don't worry about how I'll get up there."
He'd crouch down before launching himself upward, grabbing some rocks that were sticking out before using his natural strength to hoist himself up. He'd look down with a slight grin, just waiting for her to use those wings she had to join him. The area was a nice one, the view rather pretty - gave a nice overview to the bulk of this particular island.
"I dunno what ya might consider excitin' or not, I'm mostly just showin' ya sights that ya can't find anywhere else."

Kunzite nodded sagely at the mention of a guy who just knows things. "We all know a someone like that." She hummed contently, though, admittedly, she was usually that someone in the small circles of people who spoke with her.
"Hmmm.... I have a feeling I'll be back. So maybe I can put a pin in the topic of these Archons..." She beamed, looking around, "So! How close are we to the first interesting stop on this tour?"
She was brimming with excitement, eager to see as many new and exciting things as possible. "How exciting is the first stop? How exciting are all the stops in general?"
"Ya might. From what I know of ours is, while reclusive, she... does sometimes leave her big ol' place and mingle. Couldn't tell ya what she looks like though since I've never personally met her,"
He did know someone who was close to the Raiden Shogun though, not that he'd... just ask without legitimate reason. He wasn't sure about the other Archons, and he was completely unaware that two people he considered friends were actually the Archons of Mondstadt and Liyue, respectively.
"Ya might be able to learn a lot from some of the other Yokai here in Inazuma, too, or one of my best friends. That guy just... knows things."
He's speaking of Ayato, the Yashiro Commissioner with those words. He knew the other man knew things. Things he viably shouldn't know more than likely, but far be it from appropriate for the Oni to question him or his knowledge. Plus, he also respected the other man a LOT. Maybe more than he showed normally too.

Razor's demand was met with a shrill shriek. Unless whoever just screamed had a very high pitched voice, then the cry seemed to have come from a child.
Another voice, this time not from the one that had screamed. "Cowards?! I'll show you coward! Come out here and I'll-!" Whatever came after that was muffled, though anyone truly experienced in the dictionary would know... He had attempted to throw some colorful language of his own, had he not been muffled.
"Chryyys!! What if Ci-Ci or Fay-Fay are watching?! You're going to get grounded! Ci-Ci said you need to be at least SIX millennium older to even think about knowing those words!"
"As if they'd ever let me say it even if I was as old as them. YOU! ASSHOLE CALLING ME A COWARD! I AM A FUTURE WING! I WILL DESTROY YOU!"
"Chrys!! I'm gonna tell when we get home!!"
"Wait- Lili- no!! I'll let you have my dessert for the next five months!!!"
Should the wolf-boy approach the mixture of voices... He'd find Chrysoberyl and Lilium flailing at eachother, occasionally landing light, petty smacks.
"This isn't fair! You keep moving!"
"Do not!"
The unicorn, which the smallest of the trio still sat upon, huffed. Sparks seemed to shower from their horn as both of the other children quickly shut up and apologize in unison.
Not many would dare to set foot in Wolvendom. The name itself implies that it is inhabited by wolves, scaring off people, to say the least. Though there is one who lived in the said forest and grew up with them.
The said human inhabitant seemed to have bruises on his cheeks and arms. His clothes were a little torn too. It seems that he got in a fight not too long ago.
-
Anyway, a bit of flashback...
"Bitch! These potatoes are mine!" yelled the wolf boy at the Hillichurl that was just... there. There were potatoes on the ground, between them, and no one actually know who owns these spuds. Due to language barrier, their argument turned into a brawl.
Moments later, he emerged victorious. Yet during the fight, both of them might've stepped on those potatoes so...
Flashback ends. Now back to present.
-
Just when Razor was about to check on his wolf family, his nose caught unfamiliar scent. Three of them. Are those intruders?
"Who's there?! Show up, you cowards!" Despite the terrible state he was, he sure gets a little too aggressive with his words.

Kunzite circled the stranger, the air around the two of them shimmering with each footstep that crunched the frosted grass beneath her. Each shimmer wove together a magical barrier, enclosing the two of them in the space together. Making escape a momentous task, should she decide this stranger to be untrustworthy.
She leaned in towards him, icy eyes observing him. Unaware of what he's doing... Voice hoarse from lack of use. Signs didn't align with that of a demon... Unless this one was newly born...manifested? She actually didn't know how demons were created. Nor did she even want to know.
Her eyes narrowed as she continued to observe and analyze. Perhaps she could take him back? If this was a demon, better to have it monitored than on the loose. If not a demon, then... Probably not a good idea to leave someone so utterly confused and lost loose either.
The dragon stepped forward, and the barrier that closed the two of them off from the world disappeared. Instead, a new barrier replaced it. This time shackling the stranger's wrists together.
She circled around him once more, this time to sink her teeth into the back of his clothing to unceremoniously pick him up. Almost like a kitten being scruffed. The notion would probably be amusing, if it weren't for the fact that she held no positive feelings for him at the moment.
He'd lost sight of the Wanderer he'd been following from a distance, and had tried to catch up as quickly as possible. Unfortunately for him, it hadn't ended up in the way he'd wanted. Tumbling through the atmosphere, his body dispersed into the shadowy "formless" figure he used to be.
And those shadows reformed when solid ground was reached. Focusing, Protector was able to reform the look he'd taken on when he'd failed to truly protect the first Wanderer he'd been summoned by. Standing up from the ground, he assessed where he was. It didn't seem like he was there anymore.
The entity gave a confused noise, before the hackles on the back of his neck raised just slightly. Turning to look, he'd noticed something approaching him. It seemed to be something different, and it seemed to be coming for him.
With a flick of his tail, the thing had been sent crashing aside. It got back up, charging him again. His right arm shifted, morphing into a spear-like armament, and he lunged forward, stabbing it through. Feeling it extend out, cutting through whatever this thing was before he withdrew his arm and shook it off slightly.
He didn't even know what it was. But it wasn't human, that was for sure. It had no resemblance to the Wanderers that he knew. Only things that weren't truly human would alert him like this thing had. Protector flexed his fingers a bit, shaking off the numbness that crept up his arm from using it as a weapon.
Of course, that wasn't the end as something huge had arrived. He was unaffected by the temperature dropping, but the fact he could see his breath and the grass around him had iced over were signs enough that it was big. Like that entity in the frozen areas, that he'd had to kill to even get past it.
The voice had asked him his purpose for encroaching upon... a kingdom? Tail swishing in the air, red eyes filled with curiosity, Protector looked up at the being and backed up a little to get a better look. Confused noises escaped him.
He didn't know what a kingdom even was. Nor did he get why he was being asked this question. He'd formed out here, yes, but he didn't even know there'd been anything here.
This being probably couldn't understand the noises he made in lieu of talking. With his throat pretty much ruined on the inside, he couldn't talk well or for long.
"....encroach?" Protector's voice was raspy, hoarse and it sounded like he hadn't used it in some time. Wincing as he put a hand to his throat, he rubbed it slightly. ".....formed.... here.... do not.... understand..."
Hopefully that got his point across.

Kunzite groaned, sitting on the roof of the barracks, ready to fall asleep out of boredom. She groaned, flopping backwards. "Ugh. Nothing ever happens around here. While I don't want demons, surely there could at least be minor disturbances."
Just as she had been about to sleep, a lower ranking soldier landed on the roof beside her. "Talon Thal'vorn! Unknown magic has been detected at the border, King Bismuth sent for me to get you."
She peeked an eye open, calm and collected on the outside. "Oh, really? Must be urgent then, are demons attacking?" On the inside... She was utterly ecstatic. FINALLY! Her talents were being recognized and she was being given something interesting to do! A shame it had to come as a result of a potential demon attack.
The cloud dragon sprung up to her feet, stretching. "I'll be done with this in no time and have a report ready." And just as she was taking flight, she heard an exhausted plea of: "And his majesty requests that you PLEASE wear the proper uniform if you are to be on more assignments..."
She rolled her eyes, pretending that she didn't hear that one. As she took flight, an icy mist concealed her figure. When the freeze subsided, she had shifted into her dragon form.
The air rapidly dropping in temperature, grass frosting over, breath becoming visible... All three alerted the outsider of the Talon's arrival.
Large claws sank into the ground as she landed, head held high. Though her mouth didn't move, words echoed in the frigid air. "State your purpose for encroaching upon our kingdom."

[starter for @hanasakuyuki ]
M'yana sat just outside the borders of the Sapphire Sanctum, curled into herself. Her wings draped over her body like a blanket, knees hugged tight to her chest. Another mission done, another report handed in. Another world logged as part of the Wings' travels.
The world she had just returned from called for a more dramatic and showy personality when mingling with the natives. And, as always when an assignment required she act for that long... She was utterly exhausted.
The chimera at least appreciated that her Sovereigns and the other Wings by now understood that she needed time in isolation after taking on such assignments. None of them tried to stop or talk with her as she left the Sanctum to cool off.
Sandy golden eyes struggled to stay open, fluttering shut for seconds at a time as she fought sleep. She knew that falling asleep out in the open wasn't the smartest idea around... But, she still wasn't ready to go back just yet.
Eventually the exhaustion won and M'yana slumped down onto her side. Her breathing was slow and soft as she laid there in the grass.
