The Start of Something

Tales of Horre is a not-necessarily sequential story told over drawings and short-stories following a handful of people.

After humanity broke the voidlight barrier surrounding their home solar system, the species collectively found itself under the threat of war from across the stars. Cultures and civilizations from across the galaxy joined the fight against humanity, yet despite this advantage, humanity managed to grasp the territory around the destroyed voidlight engines.

Throughout the war, humanity slowly fought back the multi-civilization efforts, and after 600 years of fighting, created a means to end the war.

That day was 400 years from the present, and throughout that time countless treaties and intra-species human alliances have led to humanity not only a part of the Alliance it fought against but one of the most influential civilizations on its board.

And from there, on a small world within human controlled territories, was discovered the world and cultures of Horre. Alone in the dark of space, the planetary species had yet to leave its home world. Today many would argue why would they? Their population is stable. They host no wars. They present as a united people.

Six species live in harmony withing the "The City" as it would be loosely translated. A technological marvel providing nearly every need of the people. But what lies beneath that city, holds nothing for the mites on its back.
