I recently had a conversation with someone about the hypnosis kink. This fantasy appeals to me because it's a way to finally relax and give up control and responsibility. Its alright if mistakes are made and you do "bad" things, because its no longer your fault or your choice! Its a releasing of taboo, expectations, and guilt. It all just falls away and you can finally enjoy things. In fact, you HAVE to enjoy things because that's part of the mind control too!

The other person found it disturbing and manipulative, a manifestation of the all too real pressure and manipulation that many people sadly have to deal with. The kink was too real for them.

And its interesting because both of us agreed that the other person's viewpoint made total sense, and it just came down to yucks and yums, but its so fascinating to me that there can be such different perspectives and reactions to something like this.
