Those rainy early summer afternoons, kind of witchy atmosphere. Picking mushrooms, swimming in the forest pond, feeling everything, breathing, being grateful for everything green and soft, juicy tall grass and wet soil. Ah, finally.

It is raining for almost a week. Im finally free from one big project I've been working on last month. So now Im back home from the city, walking in the woods with my dogs. Everything is green and alive, the air smells like rain, soil and nettles...

Honestly, Im enjoying this quarantine spring a lot. I feel like I can be present this time, work at home on my projects and illustrations, enjoy the weather outside, every little change. How the ground started to melt, the sun shine slowly began to be warm, tress bloomed... then the rains came and everything turned soft green.

I can feel something is blooming, since the beginning of this year. I feel like old wounds are healing, vicious circle has been disturbed, some door has finally closed and another opened for me...

So this is how I spend this quarantine spring. Im lying on a meadow by my favorite forest pond in the yet gentle sun, swimming in still super cold water, reading poetry, drawing, watching pair of sea eagles floating in the air in spirals high above me...and I just feel blessed and super grateful for this life.

Im trying to imrpove in taking self portraits which I consider as one of the most difficult things to do in photography. But the light was so beautiful and I spend the whole forenoon with sewing my new skirt so I just gave it a chance...
