Or do my eye spy Zoya Nazyalensky marching through the little palace, that mysterious silver flash in her eyes? And is that Nina Zenik? Looking so unrecognisable, yet always half smiling at the mentioning of Ravka?

Oh, and look there! Right over your shoulder, isn't that Matthew Fairchild checking his own reflection in the silver flask that he's swirling in his hands? And that sound...the swish of a sword so well known and made, a Cortana, isn't it? Sunshine reflecting off its polished metal as Emma Carstairs ( @thenextjaceherondale ) cuts the air around her. Ah, and let's not forget the beautiful copy of Two Cities laying in the lap of a lovely Tessa Gray (@taintedangelblood ).

Am I forgetting something? Someone...? Oh, there... far, far across the time and space, do I hear the sound of the TARDIS? And a joyful laugh of Miss Clara Oswald (@xtheimpossiblesoufflex ) ? And thousands of other voices that are ready to be heard again?

In the last decades Tessa Gray rarely left the premises of the Spiral Labirint. It was a place she found as a sanctuary, place she could be left alone with herself, while being able help the world, staying in the shadows.

Yet, here she was now. Back in New York, meeting a shadowhunter in distress, just because MAGNUS called. Well, technically it wasn't a call - it was half burned fire message, all covered in blue glitter that requested her 'unique' help.

❝ Magnus is a lot of things, but never a liar, that is true.❞ A small smile tugged at the warlocks lips.

Now, as her grey eyes was regarding the young shadowhunter in distress, she was wondering HOW did Magnus always manage to find them, the ones so lost and desperate for help.

❝I am NOT selling my..powers for any kind of money.❞

A flash of pain crossed Tessa's face, seeing his reaction and instinctively she reached out a hand, placing it on top of his. ❝ Do you realize what you are asking of me? It isn't a gift of Angels, the contrary. It's a game of life and death, I can't even promise I would be able to give you the answers you seek . I could only hurt you by false hope and illusion of your loved ones return. ❞

She fell silent for a moment before continuing. ❝Magnus seem to fancy you a lot, otherwise he would not be bothered all of our time, I wonder way. Tell me, Mister Nightshade would the answer you seek will bring you a peace of mind?❞

Jesse had heard rumors of this warlock, but had never believed they were real. Children born of demon and nephilim died soon after; there was no way some could actually exist. Yet the rumors of Tessa Gray circulated around, even that some of the Herondales were descended from her. It wasn't until he caught sight of her himself that he was convinced, staring across the table at the brown haired, gray eyed warlock.

A warlock with no mark, he scoffed to himself. Who would've thought?

A sigh left his lips and he took a sip of his drink. "Thanks for coming," he said. "My name is Jesse Nightshade." He paused. "I didn't think you were real, but I guess Magnus Bane isn't a liar." He gave her a half-mouthed smile. "I've heard what you can do, becoming other people." He glanced around and shifted in his seat. "Is it true? I can pay you, I just..."

He hesitated and shook his head, taking a moment, before starting again. "Do they need to be newly dead or something? I...I was hoping to see my brother, Dean. I haven't seen him since I was a teenager." Jesse missed him dearly, but didn't say so. "I have a question to ask him about our parents."

Jesse had fears they knew more about the circle than they had ever said, and now they were long gone. So was Valentine and even Jonathan, his son, but Jesse just needed to know if he was right. If they had been with one of the Shadowhunters' greatest enemies. It wasn't important, except to him. That maybe that's why they wrote him off so easily, being such a disappointment to them.
