I am 👀 at the fact that when he first tells her this, there is a person online who Clown could definitely kill and whom Kab knows where he is. And his name just does not come up, even slightly, not even to say well there's—but he's helping me.
clown and kab are planning on farming someone, and pangi is their potiential target for it......

KABOODLE: [Zamchat likes] …male yuri, which is, which is Zamchu, I believe. [forty seconds on other topics] …"'male yuri' yaoi?" No, I think it's different. At least the way Zam describes it it's different, than yaoi, it's male yuri, it's like the dynamic is diff—I dunno, I don't know, Zam yaps to me about this kind of stuff and I go 'ok Zam'. OK Zam.
...so what i'm getting here is that zam described zamchu to kab, in so many words, as male yuri.

I hope ChiefXD logs on without having heard about The Waterfall, because he streamed yesterday spending much of an hour at spawn, looking for new things at spawn, and did not at any point fly high enough to render in the floating islands just below height limit.
So if he shows up with no one to explain it to him then from his point of view it wouldn't feel like "ah, during the weeks I was away some people built some stuff", but rather "these enormous islands and several builds and all of this water have just Appeared, literally overnight." ✨

you ever have situations that make you want to take people by the shoulders and go "you are not 15 any longer. this behavior is no longer quirky and cute. it is exhausting for you and everyone else to act like a teenager you haven't been in a decade or longer. knock it the fuck off"

if we were to get him on, though, we gotta do something more special, yknow? [Rek: Yeah.] Don’t just have him on.
kab kaboodle with the second lifesteal prom:
here's 4c and rek talking about potentially inviting branzy on the server + the peace trials (long ass transcript under the cut)
(source: rekrap22 18/19 Jan 2025 idk what's going to happen today | Lifesteal***, around 55min)
4C: I think it’s funny how Branzy’s still whitelisted. I don’t know if he knows that.
Rekrap: Really? Oh yeah we should get him on. I would totally invite him to the tunnels.
4C: He still has full hearts and whitelisted, so he could get on if he ever wanted to, but uh- obviously he left. But like, he can come back on for guest appearances.
Rekrap: Yeah... He could sneak on for like a day, see- see what it’s like.
4C: [laughing] Sneak on for a day- [Rek: Dude, yeah.] Invite him as a tunnel rat, see what happens... I mean, if you asked him that, he probably would, but he’s not gonna stay long term. [Rek: He’s not- yeah.] No he definitely would, if you said that. But that’s up to you. Like I feel like- he would wanna help with whatever your content is. Um... it’s really funny.
Rekrap: Hm- maybe I will do that.
[pause]
4C: Yeah but he does still have I think ten hearts as well, so if we did get him on, we’d have to be careful of people not just going in and killing him.
Rekrap: But that’s ten hearts for us! When he leaves!
4C: I’m- I know! I know! I know! Uh- that’s kinda huge. Um- [pause] what’re you saying, you gonna sneak him on and kill him? Or are you gonna- ask him for the hearts?
Rekrap: Yeah- no no no he would just give them to me, yknow. [4C: Ohh, okay.] Cause he has nothing else to do, he’s like leaving, yknow what I mean?
4C: Yeahyeah, make it so that he can’t come back.
Rekrap: Unless he’s planning to stay, which in that case, that’s even better.
4C: I mean that’s- I mean that’s true! [pause] I’d love to see Branzy back on. I don’t know what he’s been up to as of recent.
Rekrap: Yeah I don’t know a whole ton either.
[pause]
4C: He’s probably cooking up something cool, knowing Branzy.
Rekrap: Yeah, true. True that.
4C: [Reading chat] “Sneak Branzy into the tunnel rats for the day.” Dude, okay- what are the odds, we sneak him in as a tunnel rat, and make it so that no one knows he’s actually under the ground. And- [laughs] while they’re here-
Rekrap: Like they just think he’s somewhere else?
4C: We get him to log on, they search for him, and he’s literally directly underneath them. That could be kinda funny. [Rek: No that would be good] Like hiding, uh, a person around the world? I know where he logged off.
Rekrap: Really? Wait- he logged on this season? [4C: Yeah!] What? When?
4C: You don’t remember? The peace trials?
Rekrap: No. No I didn’t know that- what?
4C: Oh you- you don’t know about this? [Rek: No-] Oh. Oh that’s why he’s even whitelisted- wait two seconds.
Rekrap: Ohh.
4C: Yeah no he logged on for the peace trials. I- reached out to him and asked if he wanted to be a special guest for um- for the peace trials, cause before we even had a winner of the peace trials, um, we actually got in touch with Branzy and sought- asked if he, uh, wanted to be the person to deliver the mace to them. We secretly gave Branzy the mace. So he was the one with the mace. [Rek: No yeah, that’s cool.] Not us. Um- but yeah. And I think it was really funny is, at the end of it, um, Clown won, so it was a very funny thing we- we took him up on a mountain. We took Clownpierce up on a mountain and Branzy logged on and handed- and delivered him the mace, and that was like how that happened. It was such a good moment.
Rekrap: No that is a good moment-
4C: And then- Clown killed all of us, but like, it was- it was a great moment, for videos. [both laugh] Like I wasn’t even upset, like I saw him like walk over and start enchanting the mace, and I was like, oh. Like I know what’s about to go down here, right? [Rek: Yeah.] And then he- he- he wind charges, right in front of me. And I was like, there’s a cliff with water off to my edge. I could easily just- jump off, into the water, and swim away. But I was like, dude, he’s worked so hard for this moment and like- due to(?) this thing. I- he needs that satisfaction, right? So I literally just stopped, didn’t move, and just looked straight up, as he like, came down on me, and it was so funny. Um- and then the moment I died, Cube and Squiddo scattered, and Cube got out of there, but Squiddo died to that, I believe.
Rekrap: Oh... unfortunate.
4C: Anyways, it was so fun.
Rekrap: That sounds fun.
4C: It was- it was a good moment. But then Branzy just logged off, up there. Um- and like said a dramatic speech. So, I know where that mountain is. [Rek: Mm-hm, let’s go. Okay, okay.] If we wanted to. That’d be an interesting thing. I feel like if we were to get him on, though, we gotta do something more special, yknow? [Rek: Yeah.] Don’t just have him on.

my friends and I have created a game we call Quipposting, where you play quiplash but you roll a wheel full of character archetypes, and whatever it lands on, you all answer as if you are like, a wizard or cowboy. This legitimately makes quiplash go from a fun enough game to an S+ tier absolute unabashed banger

So… I got a notification from the State Department at like 8 PM Pacific that my passport was approved, and I was quietly thankful and stunned bc my legal gender in Oregon is listed as X, or undeclared, and that's what's on my passport. I'm pretty sure someone(s) worked late to get the X passports done today.
I was already really grateful to whoever in the Seattle Passport Office worked late to get these things processed on the last Friday before That Man gets back into office... and then I got a notification that my passport shipped at fucking midnight Pacific and whoever got that shit out the door so it couldn't be picked up on Monday and like, denied and shredded?
They're my fucking hero.

aita for using a glitch?
I (M ~19) have been studying a glitch I found for almost a year now. A couple months ago, I and a few of my friends (M16, M19, M19) made a breakthrough that allows me to fly, obtain some items from creative mode such as modded swords, bedrock and barrier blocks, spawn eggs, potions that give much more powerful effects than vanilla, etc. I’ve been keeping the extent of it a secret because it would be dangerous for this glitch to be public knowledge before it’s patched, but two of the aforementioned friends decided to publicize parts of their abilities (placing bedrock at spawn, spawning OP mobs, etc). More recently, I opened up to my boyfriend-at-the-time (M18) about some of it, but he told his friend (NB16) about it and they used replay mod(!) to discover my vault with all of my exploited items. My (now ex) boyfriend decided that I was clearly going to be a villain and decided to betray and kill me. I’ve tried working it out with him and explaining my perspective–that I just have the knowledge of this glitch now and I haven’t actually done anything bad with it–but he maintains that having/using exploits is inherently unfair and wrong, even though he has no problems with his friend using replay mod to find my vault. The other night I was trying to decide whether to try and renounce the glitch, destroy my exploited items, etc., and join him and his friends, or whether I should be the villain he clearly wants me to be, and the friend who found my vault with him decided to start annoying me and saying that I was inevitably going to be a villain and should stop pretending to be unsure or have qualms, so I trapped them in the bedrock prison I built, took all their stuff, and spawnkilled them for a bit before giving their stuff back and letting them go free. Now everyone’s even MORE mad at me, even though they’ve still hurt me more than I’ve hurt them! Sometimes when we’re arguing they make some convincing points, and I don’t want to keep hurting them, but I want them to understand my side too. AITA?

Man, I do not have the best auditory processing but I just hear Mapicc, like the 'yeah yeah' right before it could be anyone but that just sounds like Mapicc, annoyed. idk, "you guys" must also include Roshambo, who definitely isn't in the call, he won't even know spawn was blown up for another week, I don't think we can read much into that... there's lots cut out but honestly i really can't imagine Zam staying this silent, especially when Mapicc's saying 'me and Zam agreed you sounded ominous'... if he did know he kept it perfectly split out while chatting for two hours about his moral dilemmas about Team Awesome/the duping/blowing up spawn... at that point he says 'we' talked it out with Spoke but that they 'banned' him, which, like, so that's not a very precise sentence... this clip feels very strongly "there is something about Spoke that Zam expects Mapicc to know more about than him"... honestly considering sending an ask to tumblr user hdusa about it but prrrobably won't...
Devotions though, I'm back thinking about Spoke's video. When Spoke told them he was scripting the dupe war with parrot: Zam's devastating "it's scripted" filled with all the disappointment, sorrow, betrayal, devastation that those two words could be filled with.
Mapicc's "I'd rather be banned than this be scripted".
This is why they're them. This is why everyone looks at them with a healthy little bit of fear, unsure what move they will make. (Zy's post about mapicc got me thinking about this.)
Bc imo it's this. This pure and purified distain for scripting.
Mapicc will exploit/cheat/go too far/murder before questions to stop a scripted story: to stop someone from dominating a story with their own plan without getting the input from the team. He will do that sporadic shit if it makes sense to him. And it really only has to make sense to him. Your script be damned.
Zam's incessant figure-it-out-as-he-goes mentality towards the story. Staying consistent with the character but always reassessing, always rethinking, always being moved by the narrative that others present.
It makes both of them incredibly consistent but also incredibly erratic for the other members.
And especially with like mawn, mapicc just going for the plan with no plan just an outline maybe. taking the conversations, making assumptions, doing things and seeing what happens. And then he gets blindsided by this mentality from zam as well where he thought zam would join or oppose but zam just chose.. sitting out. And for reasons that made perfect sense to himself.
fuck it, i'll write it in this post: both have this very particular way of making videos on lifesteal.
There's two general categories of lifesteal videos:
get the idea to happen on the server and the video is about making it happen, culminating in the success. Generally they go until they make it happen no matter how long it takes.
have an idea at the start the video, and see where it goes, ending wherever makes sense.
Devotions hit that second category more often than not. Mapicc still does the first occasionally, but mawn is a great example of it. The oath is another. The joker, abyss, castle (from both sides), even dupe war from their pov. The dupe was already a sure thing when they started the video, what progressed was what they did with it.
They both so fully embrace the wildness that is unscripted mcrp in a way that goes beyond a lot of the members, even as, obv, unscripted is the law of lifesteal.
Cause like, wormhole is a fantastic example of the first. And the "problem" (difficulty) with it is you don't really have a video if it never happens. So you veer closer and closer to making it happen at any cost.
It's also interesting to think of Leo's trapping Flame video as the first, especially as, for that type of video, his first traps had to fail for the video's progression, but then it got out of hand and he went for the void and an end crystal used in dubiously illegal ways. But the video could not end until Flame died.
Flame's 10v1 is another example of the first. And mapicc went *nope* and objected to Flame thinking it would be that easy to force the server around when it got a little difficult (planning is difficult).
I love both categories fr. but its so interesting to look at the videos and the server because on so many levels, the narrative that bounces around the members is "if I can figure out the video idea, i get what they're doing", which works perfectly for the first, but with the second, and we've literally seen this so much with s5, with the second it's like, okay I get the video idea; why are you still doing it. And the reasoning is so much more hidden and not understood from the outside even though from the inside it's the most logical and obvious series of events.
And what is most fun is how the death star was 1 and then became 2. And the second it shifted from "i will make a death star" into "we made a death star and it didn't work: what next?" was precisely the moment Mane could not understand why Minute would take the 1v1. Because this type of video is not about the results, it's about the journey. It's about standing up for what you believe in. It's about seeing how people react.
And all of that leads to a player who is confusing and unknown and a little bit scary. Who might just end the world, or maybe just your world.
