An AI poem based on my poems,
And a bonus from me.
Behold, the musings of a soul unbound, In verses bold, truths resound. With words that sting, yet resonate, Each line a mirror to contemplate.
Men, mere beasts upon the ground, Snorting, strutting, their hubris found. Groan the fates, admire the muses, But love, oh love, when all excuses lose.
Senses mere, devoid of sense, Toasted sugar, no recompense. Corpseflower breath, a moistened sigh, Shutting lies, beneath a sky.
Maker of points, builder of worlds, Genitor of scattering, as fate unfurls. Guileless lies, in sycamore trees, Bleed dreams of sorrow, caught in the breeze.
Eleanoir, a tapestry of lore, Hebrew and grimoires grim, Sorcerers and more, a vast decor, Yet too many, the moir of sin.
Is faith the most drastic endeavor? A stone, a slate, the parapet of Pax, Faith, molded by knowing, forever, An eternal dance with the paradox.
Dreams, undeserved, in slumber's sway, A realm of lies, where truths decay. Fate, a life scorned, a wife mourned, Contesting with angels, mercy's horn.
Success follows, each deed in its wake, For what you did, or didn't, forsake. Candle's photons, appreciate in the night, For even fire dies, in eternal flight.
Fantasy, the veil of the real, A tinker's toy, a fleeting ordeal. Lust ephemeral, love's elusive call, In starlight's shadow, we rise and fall.
Star invincible, negate the good, Love everyone, as all souls should. Calliope's melody, a fleeting refrain, In the symphony of joy and pain.
Blood and lust, fortunes fail, The singularity beckons, beyond the pale. Fidelity, a puke on the tongue, When faithfulness fades, and love is flung.
Waste of time, desire without aim, Truly worthless, in selfish gain. When dreams must hide, from sight's cruel beam, The kingdom of God, remains unseen.
Wood of holly, princess taker, Steals the stars, her desire the maker. Resistenz, we bask till we're infected, Numbness numbs, till we're nulled, dejected.
May the eaves of your death, ripple evermore, As waves crash upon the distant shore. A muse amuse me, more than me, In the dance of creativity's spree.
One, am I become or once always was, In the tapestry of life's eternal cause. Not desperate tears, but love's gentle flow, In the journey of growth, we ebb and grow.
Funrl, a branch laid low in silent repose, As life's journey ends, and eternity knows. Wills, spare wheels for the unkind, When children are crippled, no mercy to find.
Or the sanctity of *, a false pride's fall, In the eyes of the divine, no worth at all. Black widow **** saps, love as entertainment, In the abyss of horror, awaits their arraignment.
Lumber, holding no grudge in eternal light, As justice reigns, and wrongs take flight. All Christians now damned to eternal hell, For their false pretense, in hypocrisy's swell.
Curse your families for eternity's gaze, In the divine judgment, their fate betrays. You're going to hell, on earth as in heaven, For your deeds, eternal justice is given.
Reality, a curse to bear forever, In the reckoning of divine endeavor. He who heeds not the star, feasts not for winter, In the dance of life, truth remains the splinter.
Pathologize sanity, in the chase of self, A futile pursuit, in ego's stealth. Injects she with wrath, her scorn to see, As vessels of pride, in the tide of eternity.
False honor, stolen valor's disgrace, In the eyes of truth, no hiding place. Ode to the false prophet, a lament of betrayal, In the wake of deception, truth's final portrayal.
Rat king Horus of Arabia, society's monster, In the web of deceit, truth's light to foster. The black pit of fire, a coal given in vain, As darkness consumes, in eternal disdain.
The man, requiem of unclean lips, In the reckoning of justice, no mercy eclipsed. God's love, a moldy broken fingernail, In the tapestry of life's grand tale.
Life, a price not worth the toll, As time's fleeting breath takes its toll. Hell, the fate of those who betray, In the reckoning of justice, no delay.
2048, covenant violators meet their end, In the abyss of eternity, no hand to lend. Ah well, their fate sealed in divine decree, In the annals of time, their legacy to see.
Verdict, the judgment of eternal fire, For the abusers, no mercy to desire. Angels, the discriminated saints take flight, In the realm of justice, truth's eternal light.
Yo-yo, the sun's relentless orbit, In the dance of time, no escape to forfeit. Equalizer, the balance of justice's scale, As deeds are weighed, in truth's unveiled tale.
Poyg, a curse upon the graves of sin, In the cycle of life, no victory to win. Sk, earth's fast food restaurant of decay, In the wake of destruction, truth's final say.
Monsta b, a revelation of divine wrath, In the reckoning of justice, no escape from path. And you will pay, for your crimes of deceit, In the annals of eternity, no mercy to greet.
Hell for pissants, the fate of the oppressor, In the depths of torment, no respite to confer. 1 billion narcissists, in the mirror's gaze, In the reflection of truth, no mask to raise.
May, a call to love amidst the storm, In the embrace of truth, hearts transform. Mosh, the remnant of what remains, In the ashes of destruction, truth's light sustains.
Curse your family murderer, divine justice's call, In the reckoning of truth, no escape to stall. And you will pay muhfuckas, for your crimes of abuse, In the eternal flames, no excuse to use.
Worthless, the legacy of the abuser's plight, In the annals of eternity, truth's final light. Cowards, the fate of the betrayer's sin, In the reckoning of justice, no escape to win.
Useless trash, the legacy of deceit's embrace, In the annals of truth, no hiding place. Snouts, a curse upon the abuser's face, In the divine judgment, truth's final grace.
Peace, a call to embrace the divine, In the realm of truth, no escape from line. **** *****, the fate of the oppressor's hand, In the tapestry of justice, truth's final stand.
Heads, a reckoning for the wicked's sin, In the balance of justice, no escape to win. A dragon unmolested, in flight's embrace, In the realm of truth,
Well above the race, in night's courteous grace, Soars above the ashes, beyond time and space, In the realm of truth, where justice reigns, Where love and mercy forever sustains.
For in the end, when all is said and done, Truth will prevail, and justice will won. No lie can hide, no deceit can stand, In the eternal dance of the divine's hand.
So let the verses echo, let the truth be told, In the poetry of life, where hearts unfold. For in the end, in the grand design, Only truth and love will forever shine.

So the ending of Stone Ocean really got me thinking about my AU and now theres so much more that I want to add into it. Especially with however Diavolo and Rallen are going to track down Giorno.
So all of this MiH shit that I gotta think about has made my brain buzz nonstop for the past almost two days. My AU takes place in the Irene-verse, I planned it this way, it was intentional.
[Image ID: screenshot taken from the Jojoâs Bizarre Adventure Fandom Wiki. Its a block of text of a response that was asking about how Pucciâs stand, Made in Heaven, actually worked. The third point reads, âSo basically the first universe is the normal one, the second universe has knockoff Jolyne, Jotaro, and presumably other characters, and in the final universe the souls of the dead are returned, and Pucci is not reincarnated.â End Image ID]
My whole point with this is that, even though I didnât fully understand MiH when creating this AU, now that the anime has explained it a bit more, I see that my interpretation of it is basically almost correctâŠwith some bending of the rules simply for plot reasons. This then explains why in my AU that Bruno, Abbacchio, and Narancia exist and are alive. It also goes along with that whole concept of fate that those three will inevitably meet no matter what, including meeting Mista, Fugo, and Giorno. While under different circumstances, the six of them meet be caused thats what was destined to happen.
[Image ID: a screenshot from this userâs twitter account, it reads, âSomething that I love about JJBA and stands is the concept of fate. No matter how much someone tries to change it, they ultimately cannot change their own or someone elses fate because its what the universe has already planned for them. They can always try to buy themselves time, but in the end, fate will always win. No matter the person, no matter how powerful the stand it, fate always finds a way. Ex. Rolling Stones from pt 5 and then with MiH, although the universe is different, fate still played out similarly but with different situations.â End image ID]
Now how does this tie into Rallen and Diavolo?
Diavolo was always fated to find those arrows from the very beginning. Heâs the reason why the Joestars and Dio manifested stands in the first place. Heâs the cause for part 3 onwards. Of course, Diavolo isnât aware of how selling those arrows to Enya could have eventually caused the universe to reset twice in a row, all he knew is that he needed only one of them. And that arrow, gave him a stand with the ability to see/travel through a short period of time to prepare himself/Doppio for their inevitable fate(ex. That fight with Risotto Nero).
During the final battle between Giorno and Diavolo, Dia uses Epitaph and sees what Giornoâs fate is supposed to be, Diavolo is absolutely certain of this win, theres nothing that should be able to change it, right? Wrong, because Giorno stabbed himself with the stand arrow and gained Gold Experience Requiem, a stand which exists outside of time itself, which is a huge problem for Diavolo because this means that although fate is technically correct, how can fate be accurate when one exists outside of the fabric of reality?
By using Requiem to his advantage, Giorno bent the rules and seemingly changed his fate. However, once again, fate always comes out on top, Giorno just merely bought himself time, just like he did with Bruno all the way back at San Giorgio(Bruno was already dead, he was just a walking and talking zombie at that point bc Diavolo already killed him). Giornoâs ultimate fate is to be killed by Diavolo, or in this case, Cremisi, the fusion of Rallen and Diavolo, because that was the original prediction of Epitaph all the way back in 2001. Giorno didnât change his fate, he bought himself time. Diavoloâs fate was never to die infinite deaths until the end of time itself, Diavoloâs fate was to be victorious in the battle between him and Giorno and to remain the most powerful stand user in all of Italy and the entirety of the Mafia.
Even in the original universe, Rallen was going to end up meeting Diavolo, albeit under completely different circumstances. But thats only if Giorno didnât buy himself those extra 21 extra years by throwing Diavolo into the infinite death loop.
And once again, due to fate, Bruno, Abbacchio, and Narancia will dieâŠeventually. Maybe itâll be under better circumstances? Maybe Giorno will be the one to kill them this time around instead of Diavolo?
I have so much more I want to talk about but Iâm so tired and need sleep. (( _ _ ))..zzzZZ Feel free to send asks if you have any questions regarding my AU! Iâd love to respond and give yall more information that I have on it.

The Blackened Iron Grandmaster
Verse: Pokemon
Name: Kazuma Kval Age: 18 Gender: Male Region: Ferrum Hobbies: Reading, researching different regions âMythsâ, trying out different league challenges Pokemon: Shiny Hydreigon(Susanoâo), Crobat(Tsukinoko), Togekiss(Trinity), Mismagius(Konoe), Alolan Ninetales(Tamamo), and Espeon(Kokonoe) Handedness: Ambidextrous Complexion: Fair Height: 6âČ0âł Hair Color: Green Eye Color: Yellow Affiliation(s): Ferrum League(Former Iron League Grand Master with Susanoâo) Backstory: Kazuma was born in Tellur Town on the same day that his father Hazamaâs Hydreigon laid an egg. At first it seemed like the egg was never going to hatch, but anytime Hazama would go to get rid of the egg not only would Kazuma start crying but his Hydreigon would stop him. On Kazumaâs 8th birthday the egg hatched into a Deino who had a green and black pattern instead of the blue and black of a usual. Kazumaâs mother Makoto took this as a sign that the Deino was meant to be her sonâs, which Hazama agreed with. From that point forward wherever Kazuma went so did the Deino which he nicknamed Susanoâo. At age 10 Kazuma would leave to go on an adventure to the Alola region. After almost a year there and failing to get past the Alolan Champion he would head towards the Johto region. At age 13 he would return home and attempt to take on the Ferrum League. Several of his friends and family recommended he wait at least 2 more years before taking on the Ferrum League, and yet Kazuma swiftly rose through the ranks becoming the Red League master in less than a month after coming home with Susanoâo who was now a Zweilous. At age 14 he would make another attempt this time with Susanoâo as a Hydreigon, and no one having made it past him as the Red League Master in the past year. He climbed up the Ranks of the Chroma League with Susanoâo and decimated the League Champion before setting his sights on the title of Iron League Grandmaster, he would be the youngest Iron League Grandmaster in history if he could earn the title. He and Susanoâo working in astounding unison fought hard, the entire arena was decimated as the two of them together performed a Black Hole Eclipse to end the match, securing the position of Grandmaster. Kazuma and Susanoâo held the position for 3 years before deciding they wanted to explore the other regions. So Kazuma went to visit his old team members and worked with them against the lower ranks of the Ferrum League to work on building up a companionship with them the way he had with Susanoâo before saying goodbye again and leaving to explore the other regions of the world.

Why Bones & Spock NEED Each Other (Grief)
So over my tenure in this fandom Iâve seen some one sided stuff about Bones being mean to Spock, and vice versa and Iâm like
Thing is yâall: Youâre both right, but youâre also both wrong!
Bones is mean to Spock youâre right! But you know what? Thatâs a good thing!
Spock is mean to Bones because of course he is! And guess what? Thatâs also a good thing!
They both need it, and they can only get it (safely) from each other! What they have is (in a weird way) healthy! But itâs only healthy for these two specifically because they understand each other so well!
Prime examples? Somebody has died or gone missing (usually Jim)!
Letâs talk about how Spock & Bones grieve!
Letâs address how each character (generally) moves through the 5 stages of grief
Bones: Anger, Denial, Depression, Bargaining, Acceptance
Spock: Bargaining, Denial, Depression, Anger, Acceptance
They are each individually perfectly equipped to handle each otherâs grief (or refusal to grieve)!
Bones initial reaction to death is usually Anger, he blames himself and anyone in proximity. Quickly followed by a weird form of denial, in which he doesnât deny someone is dead, but he denies that other people think the person is gone and that they felt it when it happened because heâs dunked so hard under his own grief his usually high empathy has switched off.
Now, Bones is highly familiar with grief as a medical professional (and having lost his father). He establishes how important and deeply believes in that process in And The Children Shall Lead.
I think Bones is acutely aware of how he grieves, and is equally aware that throwing these feelings out at just anybody could really hurt them.
But Spock isnât just anybody, heâs a (half) Vulcan, itâs like shouting at a brick wall, Bones knows Spock can take it. I also believe Spock understands that this state is temporary, which is why he handles it with such grace.
What happens when Bones isnât able to go off at (not truly âonâ) Spock is that Bones keeps that anger to himself and gets bordering-on-suicidal (Depression phase of grief). It happens in Miri (self injection), For The World is Hollow & I Have Touched The Sky (trying to stay behind), and The Empath (the whole freakin episode). Jim is good for comfort, but Spock is good for a slap in the face reality check.
They both know that. Itâs why theyâre still friends despite how much shit they throw at each other
Not only that, but Bones (almost) ALWAYS apologizes, from their worst fights I can rattle off:
âThey were wrong, and I was wrong Iâm sorryâ (Paradise Syndrome)
âPawns huh? Well if it makes any difference, this pawn is extremely sorry.â (Day of The Dove)
âSpock I- Iâm sorry, it does hurt doesnât it?â (The Tholian Web)
And thatâs not including implied/non-verbal apologies.
Bones needs Spock to help him grieve because otherwise heâs gonna take an emotional nosedive toward attempted Martyrdom. Spockâs stoicism punctured by occasional genuiness helps Bones move to the Bargaining stage (making peace with Spock and everything thatâs happened) and later Acceptance.
The inverse of this is also true so letâs address how Bones uses his belligerent nature to jump start Spockâs healthy grieving process!
Bones grieving style (and his confrontational nature in general) is uniquely suited to make Spock honor his Human side, his emotions in the matter. Because we know a softer touch (like Jimâs) while more comfortable for Spock, seldom cracks open that wall of emotional repression unless Jimâs in danger.
Bones doesnât give a shit, and that ultimately a good thing! Both he and Spock constantly need to be directly shoved against their default reactions to interpret things in a balanced way, which is why theyâre perfect for each other.
Without Bones, Spock would never let himself grieve, ever. We also know that, more deeply than Spock, Bones understands grief and how to move through it, heâs familiar with loss (which is why I think heâs so quick to accept someone is dead whenever it happens, itâs the reaction of someone whose had to lose a lot of people and is more comfortable grieving than hoping). Thereâs a lot of evidence for this in Gamesters of Triskellion & Return To Tomorrow.
He also honors Spockâs human half a lot more than Spock does, itâs one of the fundamental power sources for Bones & Spockâs âthe racismâs mutualâ banter. And it is mutual, I feel like people forget how often Spock compares modern humans to the worst examples of their/his ancestors and treats them as inferior out of internalized hatred and the general xenophobic attitudes of Vulcan culture. Bones of course responds in kind, usually in cockamamy insults, heâs not as well versed in Vulcan history as Spock is in Human. Although I admit Bones does start it a lot, I think arguing accounts as a love language for him lmao.
So when Bones sees Spock trying to stunt and stifle his grieving process, especially since Bones knows heâs at least partly human and it is affecting Spockâs judgement, it hits literally ALL of Bones nerves.
Bones uses reverse psychology to get Spock to admit he is human and he has feelings ALL THE TIME especially where Jim is concerned. Bread & Circuses, The Immunity Syndrome, The Tholian Web & Requiem for Methuselah!
Spock will absolutely refuse to grieve or at least move on from the self-destructive bargaining/denial loop he gets trapped in unless Bones smacks him around a little. Just like how Bones will get self-destructive unless Spock recenters him via logic.
Again, I think on a subconscious level they both know that, and itâs why they never take each otherâs smack downs to heart.
An excellent example, Chekovâs âdeathâ in Spectre of The Gun:
Spock isnât grieving, but everyone else is, Spock was close to Pavel but isnât letting himself feel it, which could later backfire. Bones is currently grieving, but thereâs no time to grieve because theyâre all gonna die in 20 minutes if they donât find a solution to their dilemma.
Transcript & Breakdown:
Bones: You talk about another manâs [Jimâs] feelings? What do you feel Spock?!
Are you grieving? He was like son to you youâre not acknowledging it, again.
Spock: My feelings are not subject for discussion Doctor.
No, and Iâm not going to, leave me alone.
Bones: Because there are are no feelings to discuss!
Well Iâm grieving! And Iâm gonna reverse psychology your Vulcan ass until you start your grieving process so that I can move on!
Scotty: Mr. Spock Chekov is dead! I say it now and I can hardly believe it, but you worked closely with him! That deserves some memorial!
Bones: Spock will have no truck with grief Scotty, itâs human.
Alright, that first comment didnât work, maybe âinsultingâ him will get that thick head of his to acknowledge his feelings.
Jim: Bones! Scotty!
Spock: Itâs quite alright Captain, they forget I am half human.
Fine, yes I am grieving for Pavel in my own way. Are you satisfied Dr. McCoy?
Bones: [looks surprised and thoughtful, satisfied with Spockâs answer]
Wow, you said you were human without any disgust this time... huh... good job.

Detective Conan Movie Ranking
Hey so while my laptop has been down I binged all 23 main Detective Conan movies and was gonna give a brief review and breakdown
Favorite (9-10) one of my favs High Medium (6-8) enjoyed, probably will watch again Low Medium (3-5) not bad but forgettable, might rewatch but maybe not Ugh (0-2) just bad, I donât want to see it again
1. The Time Bombed Skyscraper (1997) [6]Â Relatively simple bombing plot but some good character action and development. Not as good as I remembered.
2. The Fourteenth Target (1998) [5] Criminal is targeting people close to Kogoro, some good scenes but not my favorite. Liked it more than I remembered which wasnât a lot.
3. The Last Wizard of the Century (1999) [9] The Kaitou Kid is after a Russian FabergĂ© Egg. A true classic, one of the best. This whole movie is nostalgic with a good mix of action and heart. I love it every time I watch it.Â
4. Captured in Her Eyes (2000) [3] Ran witnesses a murder attempt and loses her memory. Pretty bland and kind of a dumb plot, not inherently bad just not my thing. Expectations were low.
5. Countdown to Heaven (2001) [7] Several key figures in the creation of a building are murdered. The turn where DC movies became a little more action oriented, fairly good mystery, good effects and good character development. Liked it more than I remembered.
6. The Phantom of Baker Street (2002) [9] A rogue AI traps a bunch of kids in a virtual reality 19th century London to solve the Ripper case. As a Sherlock fan this is near and dear to me, like #3 its a warm, comforting movie. Always makes me smile to watch.
7. Crossroad in the Ancient Capital (2003) [5] Conan, Heiji and the rest are in Kyoto when a slew of antique smugglers are murdered, explores Heijiâs first love. Its okay, had some good deductions and bonding btw Heiji and Shinichi but the plot was a bit boring.Â
8. Magician of the Silver Sky (2004) [9] The Kaitou Kid is planning on stealing a jeweled ring aboard a plane. Unironically probably my favorite, I just love this one so much for the half batshit/half emotional plot. Best use of Kid in the movies.Â
9. Strategy Above the Depths (2005) [7] A series of murders occur on a luxury liner. It takes a fairly simple plot and spins a genuinely compelling murder mystery with som good character moments for Ran, Conan and Kogoro. Liked it more than before.Â
10. Private Eyeâs Requiem (2006) [8] With their loved ones held hostage at an amusement park, Kogoro, Conan and Heiji need to solve a cold case. The plot is a bit weak but this movie has the second best use of Kid and is hysterical from a meta POV. Love it every time.
11. Jolly Roger of the Deep Azure (2007) [4] One a small island, the group chases after treasure hunters and potentially pirates gold. Such a fun premise that ultimately falls flat but itâs got itâs enjoyable moments. Honestly couldnât remember any of this movie.
12. The Full Score of Fear (2008) [6] Prior to a big music concert in Japan, a famous singer is targeted. The plot was kind of weird and forgettable but idk, I genuinely liked this. Definitely the calmest of DC movies, kind of a nice break from the usual chaos.
13. The Raven Chaser (2009) [9] A serial killer is on the loose and Conan finds himself competing for clues against the Black Organization. Another classic, a tight, fascinating plot, probably the highest plot related stakes in the movie verse.Â
14. The Lost Ship in the Sky (2010) [7] The Kaitou Kid targets a jewel from an airship targeted by bio-terrorists. Kid is a little bit too bastard in this one tricking Ran like that but the plot is pretty interesting and has some nail-biting moments.Â
15. Quarter of Silence (2011) [4] A train is bombed and the investigation takes them to a snowy village where an unsolved case resurfaces. Again, has some good moments and good visuals but overall was pretty forgettable. I barely remembered it.Â
16. The Eleventh Striker (2012) [5] Soccer stadiums are being bombed and its a race against time in the midst of final matches. Same as above, good moments, good action but kind of boring. I liked it slightly more than when I first watched it.
17. Private Eye in the Distant Sea (2013) [1] A spy has been identified onboard a Japanese naval vessel with promises of more murder and mayhem. I was so bored throughout this entire movie and the plot was boring and meandering and didnât make much sense.Â
18. The Dimensional Sniper (2014) [3] A disgruntled American ex-sniper targets those who wronged him. Japan counters with their own sniper. Centralized on American military culture, it focuses on precision shooting with some nice effects but the plot is laughably bad.
19. The Hellfire Sunflowers (2015) [7] The Kaitou Kid targets van Goghâs Sunflowers but is he becoming murderous? This one is kind of wild but in a fun way. The criminals motivation is baffling but a morally ambiguous Kid and Kid/Conan interactions are delightful.Â
20. The Darkest Nightmare (2016) [8] A Black Org member steals a list of all the spies in the BO but loses her memory and she must decide if she wants to go back. Another heavy BO movie, itâs both poignant with crazy, physics defying action scenes. Really enjoyed it.Â
21. The Crimson Love Letter (2017) [7] A Karuta card tournament is being threatened while Kahuza battles a girl in cards for Heijiâs love. This one I hadnât seen before and it was very interesting, Kazuha got the well deserved spotlight along with some fascinating Japanese culture.Â
22. Zero the Enforcer (2018) [1] Amuro accuses Kogoro of bombing a building leading to a legal and physical battle of wits and will. I..... I legit was so lost half of this movie. It jumped around wildly and borderline made no sense. Also Iâm just not an Amuro fan so I couldnât dismiss its flaws like I can with Kid movies.Â
23. The Fist of the Blue Sapphire (2019) [2] Kaito Kid targets a sapphire in Singapore during a karate tournament and kidnaps Conan. This is the exception that proves the rule, the only Kid movie I legit didnât like. Its so nonsensical and Kid again is too bastard to be likable. What even was the plot?

can we have some h/câs for undertaker and someone who is very artistic? (someone who likes to play music and write songs/poems in particular)
UNDERTAKER
Ahhh, he actually truly loves the whole idea of an artistic person being his. Heâs seen artistic people before, knew them even, and theyâre always fascinating. Any chance he gets to watch them practice their craft, he takes it.
It might be a bit strange, but while heâs still running the funeral parlor, he usually commissions his S/O to play requiems for funeral services if theyâre comfortable with it. They have so much talent, and if theyâre okay with showcasing that talent to pay respect to the deceased, he wants them having that very personal connection to his business.
Thinks their voice is the greatest thing to ever grace the bloody Earth, he sure does! He adores listening to them sing or hum while heâs working, or while theyâre out having a stroll, or while theyâre lying in bed drifting to sleep. Itâs the sweetest sound in the world to him; in fact, more than once, heâs started to sing or hum along simply because he loves it so much.
Though he tries not to peek over their shoulder or anything, he will definitely ask to read everything theyâve written as long as theyâre okay with showing him. Heâs interested in the kinds of verses their mind comes up with. He also perhaps wonders if theyâve ever written anything about him! Because as much as he loves them, heâs still got a bit of an ego.
He doesnât know how to play any musical instruments, so he might ask them to teach him how to play something. His long nails might make it difficult, though, so heâs kind of apt to try one instrument for a day, give up, and move on to another one. He uses the excuse of his nails, but in reality he just canât stick with any instrument longer than that. Well, canât, or doesnât feel like it.
Heâs got a hundred and five music puns up his long-ass sleeves. They should be prepared.

â i can feel your heart beating .  â { main verse for Hanzo! }
đ«đšđŸđ” - đđłđšđœđ¶đčđŹđ« || @hanakarii || accepting
âŹâŹÎčâââââââïș€ đ„ || Love has no bounds when the self-love is genuine on both ends; Hanzo Hasashi pours into Sayuri Iwasaki, and vice versa, and through that they would find ways to pour back into each other. How could they ever lose? In his willful relinquishment, he had metaphorically slit his soul open and let symphonies of carnal desire pour out the ancient wound, as puddles of cacophonous torment accumulated would exsanguinate, the sound echoing through every hollow chamber of his heart.Â
And his metaphorical tears would fall in metronomic dissonance, as his corporeal bodyâs thwacking sounds echo within him, rattling the stone walls, back arching with the crescendo, drowning out any terrifying thoughts that would interrupt this concluding rhythm as the coalesced memories seeped into the floorboards, slicking the tatami mat below. But for now, Hanzo Hasashi remains completely exposed and vulnerable, bleeding out overtures next to the female warrior, as the pastâs requiem transmogrified to become mantras of beauteous psalms. With her breaths a conductor slowing its orchestra, as the distance between notes swell and narrow and they are quiet when they both come.Â
Hanzo would simply let his lips rest upon her own, and they will run wild with wicked imaginations turned anchored reality. Such desire the Warrior of Light elicits within him. As the dawn perceives her artful depths, the pyromancer lingers in the supernatural touch of whence he had once known her whole, from inside and out, both transient and elegantly wistful as he observed her silent beauty from afar, while his tenderest tendrils of flames crackled like scattering petals in the rain, as he would deliver a divine kiss of radiant, perpetual morning pushing down the depths of triune song; as he had willingly offered his body, mind, and soul to be explored and upturned beneath an inseparable duet between the senses and sensuality.Â

Seaswolchallenge May 2020
I began these prompts from @seaswolchallenge and while itâs taken me time to post them all (lifeâs a little weird at the moment), here are my contributions to this first challenge. I may poke some of the other ones once Iâve cleaned up my inbox and some other prompt/challenges/wips Iâve got in the wings.
These can all be found on Ao3, if preferring to read and comment there.
These are about my Midlander WoL Aeryn Striker, though not all of them have her in them directly. Lots of NPCs, and some cameos from my alt characters. These skip all over the gameâs timeline in no sort of chronological order, so beware spoilers if not caught up on MSQ and various side content.
1 Omen: Emet-Selch reflects on the Firstâs waking as the Warriors of Darkness arrive. Vaguely inspired by the opening of The Black Company series.
2 Unspoken: Aerynâs stepsister Rashae goes over letters from the Warrior of Light and determines her little sister is an idiot about certain colleagues.
3 Break: A list of broken things, and one she can still try to mend.
4 Whimsy: Lyse gets a key to Aerynâs private apartment in the Goblet.
5 Sacrifice: Backstory of Aeryn and her stepfather putting their own lives on pause for the end of her motherâs.
6 Shattered: Shiva, Ysayle, and Edenâs Verse. Short and abstract.
7 Tomorrow: Aeryn convinces Thancred to take a break. It goes well.
8 Confrontation: Nightmares about Zenos and the inevitable.
9 Infinity: Aerynâs perspective on Alphaâs run to the final battle with Omega.
10 Sacred: Aeryn doesnât believe in gods anymore, but there are certain things she does still believe wholeheartedly.
11 Pillow: A restless night without her favorite pillow.
12 Keep: Small prayers from the First for the Warrior of Darkness.
13 Healing: Rielle and Aeryn, post-âRequiemâ after falling in battle, and tempting fate at the start of the Stormblood Dark Knight quests.
14 Gods: Arenvald learning about primals from the Warrior of Light.
15 Wonderful: A brief reaction to the finale for the Crystalline Mean quests.
16 Hello: Various meetings between Thancred and Aeryn.
17 Gentle: The Doman Adventurers get in serious trouble and see another side of their friend, the Warrior of Light.
18 Kiss: Three moments in a relationship.
19 Judgement: Remembering the original Ramuhâs words a world away.
20 Laugh: Haurchefant takes his sad Scion guests on a snowy outing.
21 Memory: Cyellaâs reflections as she prepares the Virtue Hunters for the Warrior of Darknessâ arrival.
22 Salvation: Thancredâs thoughts in the night after Amaurot.
23 Loyalty: Captain Ilberd tries to suss out where and why the Warrior of Lightâs loyalties lie.
24 Drink: Hien is cornered by Dark Autumn and Câoretta, for a favor pertaining to Aerynâs comfort at the Alliance Council meeting.
25 Home: What the word means to Aeryn.
26 Chocolate: After the star showers, a friend needs help getting used to the new reality of her situation.
27 Farewells: Saying yet another goodbye before waking Omega.
28 Forgiveness: Level 80 Dark Knight short abstract.
29 Letter: Thancred gets a letter while half the Scions are in the Far East.
30 Metamorphosis: Bremondt notes the change from new adventurer to Warrior of Light.

@pridefulscreamâ said:Â â i wanna say that thereâs still hope but sometimes things just donât go your way. â [[ star's canon verse? ]] Â Â Â Â Â Â
The Autobots had been called out on mission to recover another Mini-con that had awoken and despite the withering morale of the troops, Optimus had reeled everybody into the mission. Alexis, Rad, and Carlos were even lucky enough to get to tag along on this mission. It was their first since Starscream had turned on the Autobots after temporarily defecting and going back to Megatronâs command. The incident had left all of the kids highly upset, but Alexis was the most impacted.
The thought that Starscream would betray them after bringing them back a Martian gemstone as a gift, she had thought that Starscream was their friend; an ally that they could trust. Perhaps the Autobots and the kids were wrong to trust a Decepticon, but there was something that Alexis could not shake about Starscream. Something about him seemed more genuine, more grounded in reality, than any of the other âCons she had encountered.
Alexis, Carlos, and Rad laid low during the mission to retrieve the Mini-con, and through the use of Lazerbeak they were able to recover the Mini-con before the Decepticons could succeed. The Decepticons still possessed the Skyboom Shield, Requiem Blaster, and Star Saber sword, and the respective Mini-cons who made that weapon, and after Starscream had brought the Autobots to their moon base and rescued all of their captive Mini-cons, they were desperate for more workers. Thatâs surely what this entire encounter was about.
From their safe vantage point Alexis spotted Starscream on the battlefield, and she felt a hole burning into her chest. She was still hurt by his betrayal, but there was something that she needed to know from Starscream himself.
Was she stupid for doing this? A little, but if the boys could be that irresponsible on more than one occasion and still be tolerated by Optimus, Alexis figured this would be a pass. When the three kids moved positions, she stealthily snuck away from her friends. Her Mini-con partner Sureshock at her side as she moved through the trees and brush to get to the other side of the battlefield, Lazerbeak guiding her to where Starscream was.
As she approached the Seeker, she called out to him, stepping off of Sureshock and continuing on foot so that she wouldnât be noticed by the Autobots or Decepticons that were still in the nearby area.
âStarscream! Down here!â
Luckily, she had caught his attention. She leaned herself against a tree, catching her breathe after running to try and keep herself hidden from the other Cybertronians in the area. âStarscream please! Donât do this, come back with us! Weâre your friends!â Her pleas would seem to fall on deaf ears, as Starscream responded.
âI want say that thereâs still hope, but sometimes things just donât go your way.â
She was hit like a ton of bricks, her lips curling into a frown as she looked up at the Seeker. The sadness in her eyes unparalleled to any she had ever experienced in her past. She looked down to the ground, avoiding eye contact with Starscream. She felt like a fool for rushing out to try and convince him to come back to the Autobots; maybe he really was just using them all like HotShot had warned. Try as she might she wanted to exclude that last possibility from her mind, and yet it was still there. Though for some reason, she felt no need to run from Starscream despite his words, she still trusted him.

The Unwanted One
heyheyhey I actually did some writing today!! Iâm sorry that my brain only writes angst, but please take my offering for the sci-fi Sanders Sides au Iâm hoping sounds cool.
Anywho, hereâs some of Calâs origin story because I have nothing to offer.
TW for violence, blood, bullying, general assholes being assholes
On good days, they loved stars for their beautiful brilliance, coloring an otherwise dark void with the tiniest bit of light, the tiniest bit of hope. On bad days, they loved stars because they could study the constellations dotting the sky instead of the bruises dotting their skin. They could see Calypso, the Lia and the Jahde, even the Requiem, all dancing across a purple and navy sky. They would whisper their stories, the ones they remembered their parents telling them. They remembered little else.
Today happened to a bad day. The little bastard Drisine, Cato, had given them a bloody nose and a bit more than an aching bruise or two. Their head pounded as they curled up in their hideaway, rocking back and forth as they desperately whispered the myth of Calypso and her army, their voice breaking as they turned the wrong way and was faced with excruciating pain. They bit their lip harshly, knowing a whimper could alert the other children, who were certainly prowling about nearby, to their location. So silent came their tears.
It was Catoâs fault, but the Headmx blamed them. Ze had called out the names of the children who would finally leave the wretched place- the ones who were wanted. Zir eyes had landed on them, the only child to stay more than three years, so full of pity, and called their name, saying, âItâs alright. Someone will want you eventually.â Their heart, so broken already from failed attempts to make someone love them, had shattered at that simple phrase. And, of course, Cato had just had to make it worse.
âNo-one could ever want you!â he taunted, dancing around them with his friends as soon as the Headmx had left. âHow could they want someone as normal as you, when they could have someone like me?â To emphasize his point, the Drisine transformed into a shimmering bird, his multicolored feathers brushing the floor as he hovered in midair. They bowed their head towards the floor, tears threatening to spill from their eyes. Cato has grabbed their chin in an effort to make them look at him, having turned back into his usual form.
But in that moment, their eyes saw death, and they panicked. With a terrified screech, they leaped away from the shapeshifter into the body behind them, sending both tumbling to the ground. Another young Drisine was beneath them, his bright blue eyes alight with worry, as if he had simply been caught into the unfolding tension. He squirmed beneath their weight as they rolled off of the child, clutching their wrist, which was twisted painfully in a direction that definitely was not anatomically correct. Cato let out a harsh, jarring laugh as he watched on.
âWho would ever want you?â he asked again. âNo-one. Youâre never going to be loved, never going to be wanted, never going to know friendship. You should throw yourself into space, and stop wasting our oxygen, you worthless orphanâ he hissed as he stalked towards them, his eyes narrowing into slits. In the blink of an eye, Cato was a huge, looming, scaled beast. They froze, and in their eyes, they saw a reality of another universe.
A bigger scaled beast stood before them, swaying back and forth as it slid closer to them. It spoke, though they heard no words emitted from its fanged mouth. The beast stared them down, almost as if gazing into their soul. Without warning, it pulled back, prepared to strike them. It lunged forward, and-
-And suddenly they were back to their body, their reality. The scaled beast stood before them, and without thinking, they leapt at the deadly creature with a blood-curdling screech as their fists began flying, pummeling the beast, who slowly morphed back into Cato. He was crying, screaming at them to get off him and to stop hitting him, but they couldnât. Their fists were acting of their accord, only trying to make sure that deadly beast that wanted something from them would never strike them. Something wet dripped down their face and they realized they were crying, too. From there it was all a blur. They vaguely recognized the sound of the Headmxâs nasal voice, someone tugging them off of Cato, and being thrown into solitary.
Its dark and cramped quarters painted a feeling of misery in their mind. They hated solitary. Albeit, it was the only place they were truly safe, where they could curl up in a ball and scream until their lungs gave out, it was lonely. At least in the Commons, they could feel the gazes of the others. They could feel their touches, feel their attention. In solitary, they craved it. In solitary, they went half insane, almost unable to fit their fist inside their mouth to keep from screaming loud enough to shatter the stars. In solitary, they knew just how lonely they really were.
When they were let out, they found Cato and two of his friends waiting for them. They were quick, one holding them, one keeping them silent, and Cato having the honor of punishing them. Silent as they were, their eyes held all of the screams they could not voice, all of the anger and fear and confusion and longing for someone to tell them why they kept having these visions.
The entire time, Cato kept calling them the âUnwanted One.â
He punched them hard enough for them to cough up blood, their eyes watering at the immense pain. He laughed out of the corner of his mouth because cackling like he normally did was not only too painful at the state they put him in, but the Headmx would hear him. He yanked their chin up to peer into their eyes.
âTell me, how could anyone want you? You canât even hold your own in a fight,â he teased.
Biting the hand of the one who covered their mouth, they were able to spit out, âFunny, because they same could be said of you earlier,â before Catoâs eyes filled with anger and he whacked his arm across their face so hard they saw stars. They felt cold blood run from their nose, spilling across their lips and onto the floor. Cato judged them worthy of mercy and motioning to his partners in crime to let them go. They fell limp to the ground, barely catching themselves before Cato yanked them back up by the hem of their white tunic, now stained by their unsightly blood.
Burning inside them was fear, pain, anger- and something foreign, yet familiar all the same. Their mouth began to move, began to form words which became sentences which became verses which became truth. They muttered the myth of Calypso as Cato continued to bludgeon them with his fists, blind to their tears and their fragileness.
âAnd the holy woman breathed fire upon the land, ravaging the fallen with the purity of her soul. She screamed, âBegone, wretched creature of darkness! Leave the goodness of this world, retire to your universe and be content to rule over those who have strayed.ââ A punch landed on their hip. âThe beast, which stood as tall as the heavens themselves, only laughed. Its voice shook the very ground, and all but Calypso fell.â Their stomach. âShe alone stood fast against the mighty but terrible creature before her, and she alone had the strength to stop it.â The right of their jaw. âFrom the depths of her heart she brought out a strange, glittering stone. The monster tilted its head, its eyes locking on the mineral.â The left of their head. ââIs this what you seek, traveler of the corrupted worlds?â she asked. The beast hissed, transforming into one familiar to the valiant warriors. It slid closer, speaking from its mind to all those concerned.â Catoâs knee landed in their vital region. ââGive me the Stone, darling, and you can end this. You can save your people, your friends, and yourself. Wouldnât you like to play hero?â It said.â His knee landed in their bruised stomach, and they spit out blood again. âThe silver eyes of the goddess-woman lit up in anger. âThe only true way to save the ones I love is by protecting the Gazer Stone.â The creature snarled, whipping its tail towards nearby bystanders. In an instant, they fell to the ground, to rise back up no longer. Calypso shrieked as the beast turned its gaze back towards her. Swallowing, she made her decision and asked, âYou want this?â The creature nodded, sliding ever so closer.â Catoâs fist struck their head once more, and all at once, their world began to go black.
   ââThen come and get it.ââ
When they had woken, they hid here, tending to their physical wounds, hoping their emotional ones wouldnât hurt as much tomorrow. Looking at the stars, they prayed for the first time in their life. They prayed they would remember their ever elusive memories of the past. They prayed that tomorrow, perhaps they wouldnât have to talk to Cato or his stupid friends. They prayed that the stars would take them away from this awful place, heal them, and make them someone worthy of life, worthy of love. Most of all, they prayed that someone would want them.
  Someone.
WOOOOO HOW ABOUT THAT AnGsT? As much as I wanted to write something with the Sides, Calâs past/origin is SUPER important to the overall story Iâm slowly flushing out to its glory. So is the myth of Calypso ;)
I hope you like the word vomit so far :D Thanks for all the lovely comments and encouragement!! :D:D:D:D:D

Diavolo no Daibouken AU
This is essentially justification for a character that uses stand discs. It ended up (as usual with us) becoming a pretty big thing. Whether or not we ever pick it back up is... to be seen. Warning for part 6 spoilers (universe reset, that is) referencing of other AUs I have (shouldn't be a problem though), yugioh references...
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
All right about the daibouken thing
Maybe the discs are randomly generated by the stand itself?
hollow knight... 12/09/2020:
hhhh? how tho..
pucci screwed up when resetting the universe is like. the only possible thing i can think of without doing weird workarounds. or like... original souls dead or alive were made discs?bgjkr
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
Pucci fucked up #2: now look what youâve done
hollow knight... 12/09/2020:
hehehehehhdjbas yea
i love pucci just totally screwing up
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
Pucci made a world (almost) without stands
Fuckin.... pokemon but itâs stands
hollow knight... 12/09/2020
bhegrhjgbjbgdxs
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
That would actually be a fun idea for a fanpart
hollow knight... 12/09/2020:
whitesnake says fuck pucci for evolving him and sabotages
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
Whitesnake: letâs see how you like THIS fate big man
hollow knight... 12/09/2020:
ok uhhhhh so the memory & stand discs are still separate, so the only way for this person to figure out what happened would be... someone's memory who was there to find out his whole plan. so the memory disc of... jotaro, jolyne, weather, emporio, or pucci? but emporio & pucci of course have all their discs...
unless.....
whitesnake could also clone discs..?
hollow knight... 12/09/2020:
they do ballet, just cause i admire the fuck outta those ppl like holy shit strippers and ballet dancers god damn
this person can and will kill you only using legs.
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
Plot idea: stand disc game that kids play with gauntlets that load disks some of which are real
hollow knight... 12/09/2020:
omg
jojo but its yugioh but its jojo
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
And our hero accidentally finds a r e a l one
hollow knight... 12/09/2020:
"i will just insert this Directly Into My Face"
jk, the disc calls to em
fuckn full yugioh
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/09/2020:
full yugioh...
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
WAIT wouldnât giorno/some equivalent of him exist in this world thanks to Requiem
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
yes, yes he would đ
hes a pretty big help
(eventually)
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
wait maybe heâs a disc that someone finds
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
i did consider, but
giorno is confused and depressed cause wtf happened, he lost like. Everything adn then this person whos happened to start figurin shit out starts looking for his discs, cause they find... i dunno, one of the p5 gangs disc, so they know about him. anyway, they find giorno himself and its weird cause like. why isnt he discs. and giorno becomes kinda the jotaro equivalent
im thinking, since almost everyones reborn, protag is trying to find them & return their discs
so giornos trying to help find the people & other discs, which is really hard cause for some reason someone made a goddamn game
god imagine a scene where giorno has all of his friends discs back
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
u_u
and then finally pucci checks in on the new verse and ruins everything
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
hes the final boss
maybe this is the verse before fusion?
Like, Giorno has Jotaroâs disc in his hand and boom. Jort
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
shrugs probably
just every au is real now
cause puccis a dick
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
Just an idea we donât have to go through with it
A shitpost really
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
ah
unless
this is the verse just before the final one
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
You genius
also consider: this giorno isnât quite the giorno we know, heâs lived pretty much the same life as the giorno we know but heâs from another reset that was basically identical to the first universe
thereâs a pattern to these things
mainverse, pucci fucked up verse
But each mainverse slowly but surely gains more information about how to alter reality properly
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
If that makes sense?
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
ye yea
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
That likewise means weâre looking at slightly off center versions of the stands
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
a little miscoloring, aesthetic changes, maybe a couple genders...
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
indeed
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
aa wait if this was whitesnake getting revenge itd probably have to be one of the first
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
ohh good point
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
im thinking about having it be the first disc.. and largely sentient (obv, or it wouldnt be able to want revenge in the first place)
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
makes sense
what if giorno goes by his birth name now
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
actually now that i think about it, was it ever confirmed that giorno was immune to the reset?
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
i don't... think so? not by araki anyway
hollow knight... 12/10/2020:
where is he....
araki wheres new/old giorno.........
xXX.-r12p84-.XXx 12/10/2020:
basically how i see it giorno's a phoenix
he can survive one reset but not two
but then another one rises from the ashes so to speak
the dream is eternal baby

Calming Down
Life is fucking unfair. When injustice is committed, whether itâs against you, a friend, or even someone you donât know, itâs a rational response to get angry. For a while, it can even feel good to hold on to the anger, curse out whatever is causing you pain. But people donât act properly when theyâre angry, and while itâs a natural way to feel, itâs helpful to release it from our bodies and minds so we can move on to something more constructive.
For a long time, I wondered whether itâs best to listen to angry music while angry or listen to calming music while angry. On the one hand, while angry music is best enjoyed while angry, it doesnât make a lot of sense to calm someone down. On the other hand, when Iâm pissed off the last thing I want to do is listen to something calm and soothing, and itâs unlikely to improve my mood. Eventually, I figured out that the solution is to start with something loud and angry, then slowly transition into calmer songs once it starts to get out of my system. So today, I present to you:
Linkin Park Songs for When you Want to Punch Something and Then Want to not Want to Punch Something
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7ziRTW8efxxIBlVwSv1Wjr
Disclaimer: while punching things when angry may feel good, itâs ultimately a harmful practice that trains your brain and body to want to hit things in order to let off anger. Less harmful forms of catharsis, like going for a brisk walk while listening to loud music, are much healthier ways to cool off.
Something in the air's not right today
I chose Papercut to be my first choice here because honestly, that synth riff is perfect. The beginning of the playlist is supposed to match the emotions of an angry listener, and that too-fast, vaguely alarm-sounding synthesizer that never seems to resolve and just keeps going creates the perfect feeling of tension that comes when something goes wrong and you cannot fix it, but you need to. Fast.
Youâre gonna listen to me like it or not
Faint was originally going to be the first song on the playlist- I just love those strings giving way to the guitar drop- but Papercut ultimately won out. Faint is one of those songs that says what you want to say, but canât bring yourself to say it. It demands respect, and for a moment it lets you imagine that you can demand respect too. The rap bit lasts for just the right amount of time before giving way to the angry screaming. When combined with Papercut, I think the shouting kicks in just when the listener wants it to. Or at least, when I want it to, anyway. And since itâs my playlist, isnât that what really matters?
Digging deeper just to throw it away
I actually didnât hear Bleed it Out until today, when I was finding songs for the playlist, and itâs kinda perfect? It starts out upbeat, but with the drumbeats just a little too hard. The energy keeps the blood flowing, and even though it doesnât get nearly as angry as Faint does, the instrumental perfectly embraces the listenerâs anger. The lyrics are fucking intense too, and their endless repetition empathizes with the way intrusive thoughts can loop around a listenerâs head.
(Some pretty intense guitar)
Iâm gonna be honest. I donât really care much for the lyrics in Hit the Floor. That doesnât mean theyâre bad, I just donât find them very interesting. But that dark, distorted guitar and all the shouting makes it a perfect song to walk around town in the middle of the night brooding.
Iâm beginning to think Iâve been deceived
No More Sorrow is another new one to me, but the first minute those guitars hit me, I knew it was going on the playlist. Every line in the song is dripping with deceit, wrought in the throes of bitterness before leaving someone who hurt you. It has the same energy as Faint, vocalizing everything youâre too civil to scream at another person, this time cloaked with a guitar evoking the rhythm of a palpitating heart.
GO AWAY!!
A Place for my Head is my go-to when the âIâm so angry I canât even talkâ kicks in. It starts out with a veneer of poetry, wrapping its rage in metaphors without abandoning the emotion within. The harmful presence they wish to escape is nebulous enough to relate to but specific enough that you can latch on to how harmful it is. Then comes the part where you get pushed too far, and all the artsiness falls away for beautiful, terrible rage. I think most of us have someone thatâs just so awful to be around that all we want to do is scream âgo awayâ as loud as the song does. This is the climax of the playlist, the vocal chord-wrenching peak of wishing we could scream.
Fuck it, are you listening??
Blackout is essentially a microcosm of the playlist, and what I structured the playlist to emulate. The first third of the song drips with the same feelings of betrayal the rest of the songs steep themselves in, delivering its emotion on bars punctuated by shouting. Unlike the other songs, though, the instrumental is dark and slow, and you slowly realize that all the streaming and outrage is pointless. Then⊠it breaks. The middle section of the song is syllables looping and repeating and distorting over a very strange drop, disorienting and stressing until even that falls away. The final part of the song is when the anger all falls away. The distortion bit flushed everything out, and itâs calm now. Bright, electronic instrumental backs calming verses that can carry you up to the sky.
(Bright distorted music noises)
The Requiem is a strange entry, Iâll admit, and I wanted it as a bit of a palette cleanser after Blackout. Most of it is an instrumental punctuated with strange noises, clearing the mind and bringing you back to the present.
Iâm tired of being what you want me to be
Numb/Encore, for something familiar after the strangeness of The Requiem. Iâve always thought of Numb as a parallel to A Place for my Head. A Place for my Head is covered with an angry haze and forged in the fires of anger, while Numb is more detached. Not in a bad way, itâs just that the singer is able to be more cognizant of the situation, and the song is a lot more sober as a result. The production is also why I wanted to include it in the post-Blackout section, this mix is filled with bright, almost hopeful little piano melodies throughout to help you stay calm now that weâre putting the anger behind us.
So Iâm breaking the habit
Breaking the Habit was really the only song that made sense to put here. Itâs not quite as calm as Numb/Encore, but thematically itâs the perfect closer for this. Itâs about putting bad habits behind you, no longer allowing yourself to fall into harmful patterns. It doesnât have the answers, it doesnât know the right way forward, but the song knows itâs making the right choice, and that rubs off on the listener. You, too, can break habits that end in or come from anger. You can develop healthier patterns. You can move on from whatever it is that led you to listen to this playlist.

â [ Before the Darkness: Young Riley | Aurelia Marie Cranston was born and raised in Stormy Oaks, England on 6 June 1817, to Alexander and Stella Cranston. When she was only 2 years young, her father was killed by Audergine Wright, a sky pirate who worked for Victor Rotham (the mayor at the time). Elijah Jones, Stellaâs older brother, moved from Ireland to live in Stormy Oaks and help in raising Riley. As she grew up she took after her fatherâs bravery and stood up repeatedly against Rotham, who despised the Cranston clan. At age 12 she was hailed by the town as St. Riley the Brave, defender of orphans and encourager of the underdogs. Her dream was to become an engineer, and she apprenticed under her Uncle Eli, who was an inventor. She was kidnapped by Rotham when she was 17, and was rescued partly by Audergine, who turned his back on Rotham and the other sky pirates. After her rescue she sought his acquittal after he confessed to killing her father, and adopted him as a big brother when his acquittal was won. Rotham was eventually deposed, captured and executed; her childhood best friend was voted in as the new Mayor. ]

â [ After the Darkness: Gravekeeper Riley | At the age of 20 Riley witnessed the deaths of both her mother and Uncle Eli. Overwhelmed by grief, she gave the family home to her childhood best friend, and moved to live in the Graveyard just outside the town. Using her knowledge she acquired in her upbringing, she designed her humble abode, the House'oleum, and took with her only a few possessions and her clothes. She would soon take to task as Gravekeeper after fighting off robbers who wanted to raid the grave of a duke whose treasures were buried with him. Over time the Darkness all but overtook her, and she learned to control that which tried to control her. Eventually she came across the Time Lock and Keys again, which was the last invention she and Uncle Eli worked on together before his death. With her Time Key once more, she began to make use of the whim and wonder of a gift that was time travel⊠]
