The dark male perked when he felt a tug on his coat. Children’s ignorance knew no bounds, as it seemed. Still... Ryunosuke was willing to inform his son about his ability and how it exactly worked. He didn’t really believe the information would stick, but still. It was better than all of these senseless questions.

“Rashomon is in my coat,” he answered simply. “It is activated when I want it to be. Right now, it is not activated so it remains within my clothing.”

Ryunosuke liked to believe that he was in charge of his ability, when he couldn’t be more wrong. It often just humored him and listened to the male. Still, it often acted in its own accord—especially around the children. Thus, the dark ability formed from Akutagawa’s coat and nuzzled against Teruo’s hand, making a distorted purring sound as it happily nuzzled against the boy. 

Ryunosuke rolled his eyes and coughed into his hand, masking the ghost of a smile tugging at his lips.

Late Valentine’s Day—No Longer Accepting

“You write poetry?” The question could easily go a number of ways, but from the monotone way the hellhound spoke, it was unsure if his question was made in surprise or disgust. Perhaps it was best to assume it was the former.

Ryunosuke had actually thought about painting the redhead a picture, maybe a portrait of him. However... the hellhound feared it would come off too sappy, and that was weakness to him. It was clear Chuuya had no problem with seeming cheesy with his poem. It made Ryunosuke wish he had gone through with his plan...

Silver orbs read the poem in silence. Wow... he was good at it, too. The mafioso had no idea his superior—and boyfriend—had a talent for writing poetry. It was actually pretty interesting. 

“Hmmf... It is very ‘cheesy’, but... Not too unbearable to read, I suppose.” That was Ryunosuke’s attempt at a compliment, and from how his sickly pale cheeks turned faintly pink, his intentions were evident. He actually really enjoyed the poem... But he was terrible at expressing this.

At first, Nakahara-san’s suggestion of sleeping with him—not in that way—was assumed to be the redhead’s way of saying “you need sleep, go to bed”. But Ryunosuke wasn’t tired. And he didn’t want to sleep, even if he was a bit drowsy... That was a sign of weakness, and he refused to show weakness in front of an executive. 

But at the redhead’s amendment, the hellhound froze and looked back at the male. It... It wasn’t about him, was it? It was about Chuuya...

What a perfect way to twist his arm into going to bed.

The hellhound sighed, his expression softening and he walked over to the executive’s bed, climbing in and scooting close to the redhead. “...fine.”
