She didn’t understand. Of course she didn’t. She wasn’t a pro hero. She didn’t know what goes on at work. Atsushi loved his job almost as much as his wife, but this... This suffocating grief... He had never felt something like this before...

He didn’t know what it was like to have a child. He and Levy were ready for one and were hoping for one, but he still didn’t know what it felt like to be a parent. The unconditional love that came with it... The fear of losing a child...

The mother’s terrified screams echoed in his head. Calling out to her son over and over and over and over again until he wished to claw out his own brain. He saw that child... He tried to hard to get to him... But he wasn’t fast enough. The little boy was crushed under the rubble of the fallen building. 

He was right there... And he couldn’t save him... What kind of hero couldn’t save a poor boy..?? 

“I was right there, Levy...” the young man said, his voice a broken whisper. “I was running towards him... And I didn’t make it in time... I saw him crushed, right before my eyes... And his mother, still trying to call out his name...even though we told her he was gone... I... I don’t know what to do...” he managed to get out, his voice cracking as tears fell down his eyes.

Oh boy, she wanted something. That much was obvious. Osamu loved his girl, but she knew just how to wrap him around her finger to get what she wanted from him. He already bought her a beautiful dress for prom, what else does she want...??

“H-Heh... Yes, sweetie..?? Just remember, we do live on a teacher’s salary...” He was sure she wanted him to buy something, just wasn’t sure what.

Osamu had been lost in his thoughts, thinking of the new prodigy he had taken in. What was he going to do with Atsushi..?? He couldn’t stay with them, the apartment was cramped as is. With all of that on his mind, it was too easy to forget just what day it was for the brunette.

When Levy suddenly crawled into his lap, a look of surprise etched itself on his face.

“My birthday..??” he asked with fake surprise. “Oh no, that was last year..!” Despite how he teased, it didn’t seem like he was really that into it. Distracted and not the most excited for his birthday...but, then again, he never was. He opened the box. “Levy... Did you sew this all yourself..??” he said with a genuinely surprised look on his face.

"Welcome home! Happy birthday." She turned to walk over, watching their daughter let go of the table she was using to support herself and take a few wobbling steps towards her dad. "Welp there's the first surprise we get today." She giggled, following behind her daughter's first steps to kiss her husband.

Surprise etched itself across the pro hero’s face as the toddler let go of the table. He knew Levy was working with Yua on walking, and whenever Atsushi wasn’t at work, he was doing the same with their little girl. However, the very last thing he expected her to do was just suddenly start walking out of nowhere.

And yet, that’s exactly what she did.

“Yua!!” Atsushi chimed with a large smile on his face, kneeling down and extending his arms to his daughter before she reached him. He laughed, picking her up and nuzzling against her little face before he kissed Levy. “That’s the best birthday present I’ve ever gotten!! Did you get her to start walking while I was at work, or did she just do it the very first time..??” he asked in disbelief as he held their daughter close to his chest.

What a wonderful thing to come home to..!!

Third year. Last year. If he passed this year, Atsushi would be a hero... and from the way things were going, it looked like he would be just fine. 

Everyone knew the top of the class were the Big Three, of course. Still, Atsushi was very close—no one really realized that fact, but he was fine with that, he was more quiet anyway—to being in their league. His quirk was almost as strong as his will to help others and save people from harm, a huge quality a good hero must possess. He didn’t aim for being the greatest hero ever, just to be able to save every single person who needs his help.

He was actually thinking about this when he bumped into someone in the hall. Mirio... a member of the Big Three.

“S-Sorry..!!!” the white haired male stammered out, taking a step—more like a jump—backwards.

And knocked over a trash can. And proceeded to fall into the trash.

The male perked when he heard his wife speak. He was standing at the window in the kitchen-area of the apartment, watching the city before them as it laid draped in a blanket of night. That was the city he protected... The city he loved. He often found himself just staring out the window, thinking about the city and its citizens. 

A smile formed on the pro hero’s lips as he saw his wife—and unborn child. He gently cupped the side of her face in his hand, the thumb of his other hand brushing over her baby bump. “Don’t worry, I’m okay,” he assured her as he pecked her lips. “You should be asleep, Levy. You need your rest..!” he added with a loving chuckle.

“I saw them at the store and had to buy them..!!” the pro hero responded with a laugh. Technically, it was his turn to make dinner, but he loved Mirio’s cooking and wanted a chance to get him to cook again.

Atsushi could cook rather decently, but Mirio’s was amazing. And besides, Atsushi’s aim was excellent. That was clear with how he won the nerf gun round, making his husband the chef for the night. 

“But dinner’s delicious..!!” he chimed happily. “And I love you..!!”

Osamu was used to hero “under cover” work, even though he was only a teacher. After all, that’s what he had been doing for four years now. Did he actually enjoy getting his feet wet and going out to do field work? Of course not, he would rather just teach from a classroom and not have to actually do any real work.

But... Touya wanted him to help him with a mission. His quirk would be very helpful in this job, so he decided it would be okay. He was correct to believe it would be a bunch of hero bullshit, however.

It was a bunch of hero “incognito” crud, and Dazai wasn’t enjoying himself trying to blend in and not get caught. Still, he followed the hero’s every instruction... until he was suddenly yanked into a corner and kissed.

Now, this was more like it. He was good at this at the very least. Osamu knew what Touya was doing—trying to blend in, smart—but that didn’t mean the teacher wouldn’t enjoy himself. Hands rested on the redhead’s hips, holding him closer as he deepened the kiss. Better make think they were just making out, right~?

“I’m okay,” the weretiger said with a sigh. He was tired, yes, and really cut and bruised up. His training was extensive, but necessary. If he ever wanted to be a strong hero he had to work for it.

Going through this training routine Dazai had made for him would help with that, even though it hurt him vigorously. But the young woman didn’t need to know that. It almost tickled him, how she would check on him like this... Ever since they were children.

Sure, she was adopted, but still Dazai was her guardian. How..?? She’s so kind while he... He’s so demanding with his training...

“Just a little beaten up, but I can heal it,” he reassured her, turning around to give her a soft smile. “But... Thanks for checking up on me, Levy-chan. I really do appreciate it.”

MHA! Kyoshi

Okay, so I’ve already made a BSD verse post about her, so here’s the MHA one to go with that XDD

Same as BSD, Kyoshi was born in a really small town in China near the ports. Around this area, there’s a lot of more elemental type quirk users—primarily fire, water, air, and earth manipulators. There are specific families these quirks originated from, and if you have that quirk you’re most likely related to that family in some way. 

Kyoshi lived on the street until she was taken into the manor that housed the Avatar.

Within this area (and especially in these families) there’s tales of a quirk that’s a mixture of all four elemental quirks, plus you can communicate with whoever had the quirk before you. It’s a mutation they believed to be caused by spirits, and whoever has this quirk is supposedly super awesome and powerful, and also important. This is the Avatar, and all the hype for this person is pretty much only within this area bc no one else really cares XDD

Kyoshi became friends with the “Avatar”, only to realize after he was killed that he wasn’t the true one. There had been a mess up, and Kyoshi was actually the Avatar. She ran away from the manor and hunted down her parents’ old band of villains. She got them to accept her as their own and train her in the elements.

The group is part of a larger villain organization, one that had been extinguished until she accidentally freed the leader. However, she killed the leader now, so technically she’s the boss now..??? She doesn’t want anything to do with the big villain organization (the “Yellow Necks”) so it just kinda dissolved. 

She now has moved to Japan and uses her powerful quirk to help people, but she doesn’t have a hero license—plus her methods aren’t very pure, so she probably won’t ever GET one. So, she’s a vigilante and isn’t exactly legal.

Some people don’t even think she’s human. She’s some 7 foot woman with elemental powers that just comes in and saves people with weird make up on, so a lot of people think she’s not even real. Like a spirit. She only wears her gown, makeup, and headdress on missions tho, so most of the time she’s just some really tall young woman lol XDD

His calloused hands rested on her rather early baby bump. How could he not be excited..?? A brand new life grew inside of his wife, the product of their love. It was so fascinating, so amazing... His thumbs brushed tender circles over Levy’s belly, clearly already loving this unborn child.

“I’m just so happy.!! I have a perfect life, a perfect job, a perfect wife...” He pecked her cheek tenderly. “And soon, a perfect child... Aren’t you excited, Levy??”

Brief BNHA Verses

So like...really wanna do more BNHA threads but I have so much to do before updating my verses page with my new muses....so here’s a brief explanation for all of my muses!!

Kira: Really scary, infamous villain. Mostly scary because NO ONE has any idea who Shadow is. This follows Kira’s normal timeline, being born a Hybrid and being raised by humans. She just never goes back to her home world and develops this deep rooted hatred for humans. She thinks her magic is a quirk lol

Atsushi: Baby boy who wants to be a hero~~ he’s attending UA as a 3rd year student currently. He left the orphanage at 14 instead of at 18, and was taken in by Dazai and trained by him too. His hero name is Weretiger and so is the name of his quirk!

Dazai: He used to be a really bad villain but has turned good and teaches 3-A at UA. Atsushi is his star pupil, but he would never admit that aloud. He has a quirk cancelling quirk, so he can touch someone and nullify their quirk. It’s called “Nullification”. No one at UA knows about his past except maybe Nezu. 

Chuuya: Haven’t really thought much about this verse for him... He’s a bad guy and used to work right beside Dazai as his partner in crime. He is feared even among his peers...

Akutagawa: Another villain whom I haven’t thought up much for yet lol. He is Atsushi’s nemesis~ and he used to be Dazai’s student. So, he still retains that deep rooted hatred for the weretiger. 

Anne: The leader of a world wide villain organization that keeps tabs on villains from all over the world. It’s called the Underworld and it has eyes everywhere... Not many people know about it, and even those who do can never find it unless she WANTS them to find it. She has a fire manipulation quirk. 

Grelle: Grelle is Anne’s cousin and a blood thirsty villain and can shapeshift into any form she wishes. She mostly does villain mercenary work, but she’s Anne’s ally and will help her if needed. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty—or bloody. 

Lia: A detective, but not quite. She seems like a very trustworthy detective, however, she’s secretly a villain. She works very closely with Anne and is a spy for the Underworld. If Anne wants a villain to disappear off the board, Lia “uncovers” info about them and gives it to her bosses. If Anne wants someone to be protected, Lia keeps clues away from the government. She has an invisibility ability
