Scary movies or happy ending? Happy ending!!!

Any special talents? I can speed-read! (A blessing and a curse)

Where were you born? China (but I don’t remember shit lol)

What are your hobbies? Reading, writing, cooking/baking, hiking (when I can), and trying to get back into watercolors

Do you have any pets? Two cats and a dog--they all sleep in my bed now, so it’s been very crowded!

What sports do you play/have you played? I used to figure skate competitively and did some rowing in undergrad.

How tall are you? Just under five feet :(

Favourite subject at school? English!

Dream job? To go back to school and study all the time lol I'd love to get more into the literature I missed/didn't delve as much into in undergrad

Adam hummed softly at the feeling of stubble brushing against his shoulders, soft lips kissing his skin. He turned his head, blinking his eyes open, while long fingers traced over the freckles on his back.

Ronan lifted his head, his nose bumping Adam's, lips finding Adam's cheek, the shell of his ear.

"Good morning," he murmured, sultry soft, and Adam shivered in pleasure, smiling, as Ronan pressed a long, lingering kiss to his temple, and then his cheek, and then his mouth.

Adam sighed, a soft, ghosted breath past his lips, eyes sliding closed as Ronan's mouth found its way to his nose, and then over his eyelid.

"Mornin'," Adam murmured back, Ronan's arm coming around him, holding him close, their faces tucked together. Adam opened his eyes once more, looking at his love next to him. He looked well-rested and awake, but still a bit soft from sleep.

His expression was set in concentration, his fingers sliding in nonsensical patterns over Adam's back, between his shoulder blades. Ronan leaned in, kissing him again, and Adam kissed him back.

They were soft kisses, without an agenda, slow and indulgent.

Adam rested his hand over Ronan's heart and wondered at his luck at being able to have this for the rest of his life.

idk i think it's so important for people to have A Thing, or multiple things! like. A Thing that when a friend sees they take a picture and they send it to you, bc they know that's Your Thing, and you will Love It or you will Hate It, but either way, the association is YOU

and it's not about like. commercial aspects? like it's not about having A Thing to make it easier for people to PURCHASE for you, it doesn't have to be a saleable object or a theme or a specific hobby, it doesn't have to be associated with PRODUCTS or CONTENT

what is remarkable about The Thing is what it evokes in them: a reminder of their connection with YOU. and what is that connection, why is The Thing the catalyst for it? because The Thing is what you are EMOTIONAL about, whether positively or negatively

which is just another reason to love eagerly and openly and broadly, and to let yourself ENTHUSE about those things that you love.

it doesn't have to be love? like. my friends hear my manifesto about why i hate centaurs every quarter or so, and subsequently send me centaurs

they do this to incite my rage and disgust in much the same way you will excitedly show your pet cat a thing they will HATE the smell of, and your cat sniffs it anyway, and then looks at you with ire and disgust, and this too is an interaction between 2 beings who love each other

idk this is partly why i so abhor minimalism, why i'm so disgusted with a lot of mannequin fashion, part of why it's so so sad that everyone has an obligation to go to university now and pick the subject they hate least rather than a subject they adore and are a bit weird about

bc the goal of capitalist society is never-ending expansion, personality has to be extinguished and dampened where possible - every product has to be catered to the widest possible audience, and therefore everything is neutered and robbed of personal meaning

everything has to be made universally meaningful and u have to resist that. u have to resist the little voice that says to love A Thing passionately is to be cringe. to love and to EXPRESS feeling passionately is the essence of humanity
