What makes you like zoluna so much?

I can't say why exactly. I still had a job when I started One Piece so when I wasn't working, going to classes, or doing homework, I was just watching One Piece. It made getting through episodes a lot easier but I never took the time to just think about the show outside of my initial reaction (this is also why I try to take breaks between three to seven days when I finish an arc). I actually didn't even realize how much I loved the three of them together until I took that 2.5 month break from the show.

That aside, I like the ship itself because they're all so silly. I liked zonami a lot when I was a teen, when I was first watching the show I had a few mutuals who liked/loved lunami, when I considered getting back into the show I started to like zolu a lot, and now that I've picked up the show again, I liked each ship individually but then I started to entertain the idea of all of them together and realized it's actually my favorite ship in the show.

I am a shipper, so I enjoy most ships tbh, even Luffy and Nami with different pairings such as ZoLu and ZoNami or LawLu and LawNami. LuNami is my favorite, of course, because I really love their dinamics and connection, but besides that I really like ZoLuNami and ZoSan.

But honestly, I could go on and on about ships I like. ZoTash, MiShanks, Shuggy, Shanks/Makino, Law/Robin, UsoKaya, Sabo/Koala, Crocodile/Mihawk, Crocodile/Mihawk/Buggy, Sanji/Viola, Sanji/Pudding, Sanji/Usopp, Iceburg/Paulie, Kidd/Killer... you get the point hahaha if I see nice art of it or a compelling fic, I'll probably ship it in some capacity, even crack ships.

And of course, it's One Piece so if we're talking about ships we have to mention the obligatory Going Merry and Thousand Sunny (⁠◠⁠‿⁠◕⁠)

Thanks to Sanji’s explanations while shopping, Luffy understood that he needed wedding rings. Why? Because he and Zoro had been married for the past three years. So why no one believed him?

Just Because You Didn't See It, Doesn't Mean It Didn't Happen

Over the course of their adventures, Nami watched person after person fall in love with Luffy, and Luffy never notice. She never realized that the reason was because Luffy had long since given his heart away. You'd think the crew would have noticed that Luffy and Zoro were married, but it seemed their captain wasn't the only dumbass in the crew. Chapter 2: Various POVs of people who easily recognized that Luffy and Zoro were in a relationship.

Of First Mates and Duty

“First mates… we devote our lives to our captains. Our entire beings. We live for them, breathe for them. And they expect us not to fall in love?” He smiles, small and knowing. Zoro’s eyes widen and he sputters, trying to muster a response. The man only laughs more. OR Being a good first mate was easy enough for Zoro. That is, until the… feelings.

I love how zolu fics that included marriage are usually between two extremes:

Either they got married in their solo sailing days/before meeting nami and have been married the whole time.

Or they're going through the slowest of slowest burns ever spanning the entirety of one piece and vow to get married after they fulfill their dreams.

003. Luffy?

How I feel about this character: One of my favorite anime characters ever. 

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Nami and... no one else, I really can’t think of anyone else to ship with him.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Luffy and Zoro, because they’re both dumbasses and Zoro’s Ride or Die for his captain

My unpopular opinion about this character: I wish he was a little book smarter.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: See above.

Jokes aside, I like them well enough. I don’t have brain rot for them, my favorite ship is ZoLuNami, and my favorite Sanji ship is Acesan (I blame the fanartists) so my opinions are a bit skewed but I like it and understand why it’s the most popular ship in the show.
