Marvel AU: Ithanak gods exist just as Asgardians and Olympians do, but they're much more aware of earth affairs and have no issues with interfering if they see fit. So when Loki, renegade prince of Asgard, intends to take over the earth, Queen Zolith wastes no time sending one of her closest lieutenants to help the heroes who would come to be called the Avengers.
Considering her father is from earth, Lia is more than ready to help defend it.

Was playing around on the Azaleasdolls’ Goddess Maker and - what do you know. I made Zolith. Without her wings, unfortunately, as it didn’t have wings big enough. She always has giant golden wings. Also pictured is her daughter Kashante, the first Queen of Solasar and ancestor to the Ita/Weaver line.
Zolith and Kashante are my OCs.

Mix Up Chapter 1-2
A One Piece Fanfiction
Zoro x OC
Set sometime post- Dressrosa
Lithium had been watching him wander back and forth on the market street for about an hour. She had first noticed him when she walked out of the local bar, the passable local brew entirely forgotten when she laid eyes on the swordsman.
She was not sure if it was the attention-grabbing compliments of green and red he was wearing, the fact that his hair itself was green or that she could spot well-defined muscles sliding beneath his loose clothing that drew her attention. She simply knew she had to draw him and hoped she did not have to be a bit of a stalker to do so.
Not like I don't do that anyway for every anatomy study I do... She sighed, pulling the deep hood of her sweatshirt over her head so she could shift out of her disguise. She had been wearing a generic human shape for a couple hours so she was already beginning to feel the prickling crawly sensation of needing to wear her own face again. While this was a quiet place, being stuck in shift was not something she wanted to do either way.
She shifted back to normal slowly as she walked across the street to a nearby park bench. The slower she shifted, the less obvious it was to anyone who happened to glance into her hood. She readjusted her clothing to avoid flashing any gray and white skin to people who did not need to know about it. Namely, everyone.
The shape-shifter settled in to eat the other half of her sandwich and alternate between watching the swordsman wander past and reading up on the local laws of the island. One of the pirates whose ship she had been on for the trip here had mentioned there were some oddball laws, so she read a copy of them as she finished her sandwich. While the bar's alcohol was lacking in potency, their food was particularly satisfying to her inner carnivore.
As the rain picked up, the swordsman took cover under a near-by tree, looking surprisingly relaxed in public. She could never been that casual anywhere, not if she wanted to avoid capture. She felt a bit of concern though, that the bench he was sitting on was stone rather than the other wooden benches around the square. Something about it played at the edged of her memory.
Her thoughts were interrupted when a group of about twenty armed men approached the dozing man. She re-wrapped her sandwich and stuffed it and her papers into her bag, ready in case the swordsman happened to be a heavy sleeper. She did not want to be involved, but she also was not about to let anyone get away with harming someone if she could help it.
Under her hood, one animal-like ear swiveled to better catch what was being said, but shot upward when she heard the large older man state the name "Roronoa Zoro?" and the swordsman confirm it. She had seen his wanted poster many times in checking to see if her own was posted on the islands she visited. It certainly explained why, aside from his unusual appearance, he seemed to stick in her mind. She had a good memory for faces, though she was not always able to attach the proper names to them.
"You're under arrest for desecration of Hero's Monument. Your penalty is death."
Lithium's head whipped around toward them, hidden eyes huge in shock. Sweet sake, that stupid stone bench is the Hero's Monuement? Dammit...dammit...
The weird laws on this island were mostly innocuous based on what she read, aside from one set. The Hero's Monument was this islands greatest treasure, practically deified in the resident's eyes. Any infraction against it was met with the harsh punishment of beheading, no exceptions.
Except that one...
Mind whirling with the plan she set into motion, she slipped off the bench and ran into the neighboring park, shucking off her sweatshirt as ran. She did not want any of the men arresting Roronoa Zoro to recognize her from the bench. She found the entrance to the park that came out on the other side of the Hero's Monument, and ran up to them, hoping she looked appropriately breathless and worried.
Saints preserve me in alcohol...I hope this works...
She felt a blush creep up her cheeks as she readied herself for the next part of her plan. Everything depended on this moment. She pushed roughly past some of the armed men, her ears laid back, putting herself between the large man and Zoro, throwing her arms around the swordsman's neck.
"I've been looking all over for you!"
"Oi!-" Zoro started to protest but she cut him off.
"-You said you would wait for me at the bar until I was done shopping! " She whispered into the flustered man's ear. "I'm Lithium, play along...I'll get you out of this mess."
To his credit, Zoro calmed down and even placed a hand on her back, albeit tentatively so.
The large man half-growled at her taking a step closer to them, though the shock at her unusual appearance still registered on his face. . "What do you think you're doing, girl?"
Lithium let go of Zoro, whirling to face the older man, her fangs bared a little. "What do you think you're doing to my husband?"

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power AU featuring Lia
(I know next to nothing about the She-Ra show so dunno if this makes sense but… anyway, slight spoilers for Lia’s story I guess??)
Lia as Adora, with Zolith sorta being the whole She-Ra deal???
Satisha as Mara (the former She-Ra/Zolith)
Temya as Light Hope
Ben as the Catra, former best friend turned bitter rival… turned friend and lover
Ayesha as Queen Angella
Jim as Micah
Jirsa as Glimmer
Erian as Bow
Uma as Mermista
Harry as Sea Hawk
(Dunno for Gil)
Carlos taking the place of Entrapta
Jay as Hordak (so yes I guess this winds up being Jaylos)
Mal as Double Trouble
Evie as Castaspella (but like, younger, if that makes sense)
Azemirete as Horde Prime or Shadow Weaver, dunno which makes more sense
I dunno where I’m going with this but it came to me last night and I at least needed to get it down on paper.

POLLY AND BELLE I'M GONNA CRY THAT WAS SO ADORABLE- Beast and Belle are just. So good. Belle immediately worried about the other kids on top of her own son, ahhhh 😭
Lia's first "human studies" moment! Learning that humans are weird about names and nouns. (I bet Jim will be happy when he finds out she used his last name as her name.) That was cute. Can't wait to see how she gets her human first name! I was kind of wondering how she'd name herself so the Hawkins on her bag makes sense.
All these poor kids are traumatized!! It's painfully realistic, Prentiss worried that Belle and Beast will throw them out, but I liked it. I also liked that they were still worried about Beast being the payer. All of them are sticking together 🤧
And the whole scene of Lia studying herself and figuring out human nature and gravity!! It was so cute and also pretty interesting to see how she chose her form for herself (I'm eyeing the mention of the statue with wings, wondering if it's just a cameo/shoutout to canon Lia or if it's foreshadowing of some kind) and how she thinks of "normal" things like yawning and gravity. As always I'm loving this story and excited to see what shenanigans happen next!
AAAA YES even as I'm sticking closer to the D3 characterizations you cannot convince me that Belle would not be worried about children she knows just escaped from vicious pirates. (We were robbed in D2 of her learning what happened to Ben on the island and being overbearing about looking after him for a while afterwards.)
Humans are so very weird about names and nouns. She already knew that, but she's confused anyway. And Jim will be so happy when he finds out that her first response to needing a name is taking his surname. He is so honored. But don't take this as a "they're a perfectly wonderful father and daughter pair" sort of thing... because there's some conflict still planned for them. It's like the arc that canon tried to give us with Mal and Hades in D3, just done so much better.
THESE POOR KIDS ARE SO TRAUMATIZED. Unlike canon with most of the VKs I'm not gonna gloss over it, they went through a lot and they are going to stick together for it.
The mention of the statue with wings was meant to be mostly an allusion or shoutout to canon Lia, sort of an explanation how Etherial!Lia still takes after canon!Lia even when Etherial!Lia has the chance to present and appear however she wants. The statue is meant more to be Zolith rather than Lia, however. It may turn into foreshadowing if I want it to. It all depends on what I can figure out.
I'm so glad you love it so far! I'm so happy with how it's turning out.

Azemirete + 🌠
(Okay, on my desktop, this emoji looks like a blue line with a tiny white mark at the end. I’m interpreting it as a shooting star. If this is not what it is, let me know and I’ll be sure to edit/rewrite my headcanon.)
Azemirete is actually not all that upset by the disappearance of the sun from Solasar. She always felt that the sun was too bright, too harsh, and around for too long at a time. She feels that the stars and the planet’s rings are a much better choice to adorn the sky, and the glowing plants on the planet’s surface are a much better source of illumination than straight sunlight.
Of course, she knows what the sun is supposed to mean - Solasar is protected by Zolith’s power, keeping away Raknar’s evil. So of course she understands why so many people are so upset and fearful that the sun seems to have disappeared, and she does sympathize slightly with them.

📚 + Lia?
“send me a 📚 + an oc for something thats changed about them since their conception!”
Alright, when I first created Lia, I wasn’t entirely certain of her powers/abilities. I knew that she at least needed to have some kind of power that further made her a foil for Mal with her magic and dragon form. I ended up digging up some old notes for a mythology-based story that never got written, and inspiration struck! Lia’s gods and goddesses, and the powers and transformation that she derives from Zolith, all just sorta fell into place.
Feel free to send more if you want!

Ben was so scared in ch 62 it broke my heart?? Like thank you for addressing his trauma so well. And the fact that Mal was mocking Uma while Ben's life was literally on the line wasn't something I ever considered when watching D2, to be honest, but now I'm mad at the movie all over again. Thank God Lia's there to protect him. Them falling asleep in each other's arms had me nearly shrieking, it was so cute!! Also that bit about Ben being furious if anyone treated Lia like Mal treats him? Perfect
Yeah, I couldn’t put him on that pirate ship without addressing his feeling on it and why. He knows he can trust Lia and talk to her and she won’t mock him, so that happens. And god, yes, that part ticked me off so much - Ben’s literally standing on the plank and Mal does not give a sh*t, all she cares about is picking on Uma more. And this is supposed to be “True Love” for Mal? Thank Zolith that Lia is there to protect Ben and care about him. And Ben and Lia are so cute but the “fall asleep in each other’s arms” part just took it to new levels of cuteness. Ben would absolutely be furious if anyone treated Lia like Mal treats him, because Ben knows that he shouldn’t be treated that way.

@unusual-ly Since you expressed interest, here it is! Under the cut ‘cause it’s super long. For some reason it won’t let me link right to the journal entry on Quotev. Copied and pasted from Quotev so formatting’s a little strange.
Contains some words in Xhosa (translated via Google Translate, so I cannot attest to their accuracy) and some made-up words too.
The gods creation myth of the Ithanaki religion. Relevant story: Rewrite the Stars
Next, Xhibaan and Nikaa went into the forest, where they encountered the maphiko, the winged ones - the glittering insects that can be found nowhere else. These creatures were pacifists. They disliked war and fighting. But one of them agreed to become a god, as he would like to help the people of Solasar. So Xhibaan made him into Izagar, the God of Love and Peace, who's shield, his signature effect, still bears the same shimmering markings as his wings do as a maphiko. He vowed to defend the people of Solasar and help to bring them happiness and calm.
Mafarahel, one of the iziqhamo, found Xhibaan and Nikaa. Mafarahel had heard - as had all of the fruit bats of her clan - of Xhibaan's struggle with Raknar, and her search to find deities to protect the people. Mafarahel told Xhibaan of her own idea, that perhaps, if there was a deity who could be a patron of the darkness and night and help prove to the people that they should not fear it, Raknar's influence of terror might be lessened. Mafarahel herself volunteered for the task, despite knowing the stigma and bias she would have to face down. And so she became Mafarahel, the Goddess of Darkness and, once the sun came about and the times of Dusuntu and Nasuntu began, Mafarahel became the matron of Nasuntu, the night-month. Mafarahel and her fellow iziqhamo promise their protection to all in the dark of night. Mafarahel was also the one responsible for leading the souls of the deceased through the star maze in the sky to reach the Aras, the heaven where all souls go.
It was a thunderous and storming night when Nikaa and Xhibaan took shelter in a cave. To their surprise, they came across a sidhal. The sidhal, who had been recently wounded in a human hunt, was initially vicious towards them, but once Xhibaan and Nikaa explained their peaceful reasons for the unfortunate intrusion, the sidhal allowed them to stay in the cave until the storm passed. The sidhal's name was Vhenkra, and she was the last of her species. When she heard of Xhibaan's quest to create immortal deities to help her people. Vhenkra begged to become one of these deities, so she was become immortal and her race would never truly die out. Xhibaan agreed, and the transformed the sidhal into Vhenkra, the God of Lightning and Storms.
Satisfied with her work, and the deities she had procured to protect her people and keep them from harm, Xhibaan and Nikaa returned to their home. The gods were welcomed with open arms, and for the first time, the people of Solasar felt safe from Raknar and whatever terrors were in the darkness. But Raknar would not give up without a fight. No. He sent his last and final minion, one last yaqal who had escaped defeat before, to steal Xhibaan's staff, which he had finally decided was the source of her power. The yaqal stole into Xhibaan's room as she slept, and made off with her staff. But as the yaqal made his way through the village with the prize that he had proudly stolen, he was spooked by a clap of thunder, and he scurried into a nearby aviary for shelter as it began to rain. The aviary was taken care of by a human girl named Zolith. Zolith loved all her birds, but she especially loved a beautiful golden bird who had wandered into the aviary one day and never flown away. Though the golden bird had never shown much fondness towards Zolith, the girl loved the bird immensely. As the yaqal slipped into the aviary with Xhibaan's stolen staff, Zolith was there, trying to feed some fruit to her favorite bird. Unknown to her, the golden bird was a natural enemy of the yaqals, and it flew into a rage when it spotted the creature that had come into the aviary. It moved to attack the yaqal, but just as it did, Raknar arrived to retrieve the stolen staff. Zolith knew who Raknar was. She also knew that Xhibaan's staff had been stolen. She tried to fight Raknar, to pull the staff away from him and save Xhibaan's powers, but Raknar struck her dead and took the staff for himself. Using it's power, he transformed himself and the yaqal minion into Raknar, the God of Evil, and pledged to destroy all the gods, using his new godly powers to cover Solasar in evil and darkness forever. When Xhibaan awoke, and found her staff missing, she searched all over for it. At last, she found the aviary. She found her staff, lying broken upon the ground, next to Zolith's body, with the golden bird weeping over her. Raknar, with his new powers, was long-gone. But he'd made his intentions known to all - his ascension to godhood and his desire to wipe out the other gods. There was just a little power left in Xhibaan's staff. Enough to create one last goddess. Xhibaan used the last of her great power to resurrect Zolith, combining the girl with the abilities of her favorite golden bird, an intaka-ekhanyayo, a powerful bird with the ability to control light and life itself. Zolith was reborn as a goddess, the Goddess of Light, of Goodness, and the nemesis of Raknar. Zolith led the other gods - Inthakmar, Utama, Izagar, Mafarahel, and Vhenkra - against the forces of Raknar. It was a long and fierce battle - the gods against the forces of evil. It was the might of this battle that shook the planet, and caused the planet to start turning. In the end, it was Zolith, who's light greatly weakened Raknar, who fought the God of Evil into defeat. She could have easily struck him a mortal blow and ended him forever. But she did not. Instead, she offered him a place among the gods - equal to them. She offered him mercy. And so, Raknar was accepted as a god. He still is a god today, among the ranks of the others. Though he is equal to each of the other gods, his powers are greatly outmatched by his peers, and so his influence isn't quite so powerful today as he would like it to be. To ensure that Raknar's powers would never take true root on Solasar again, Zolith created a great ball of light in the sky - the sun - so that her powers would shine down and chase away any of his evil. While her powers of light covered the planet during Dusuntu, the day-month, Mafarahel would protect those in the time of Nasuntu, keeping Raknar's evil from harming anyone. For Zolith's merciful nature and powerful abilities, Xhibaan named Zolith as Queen of the Gods. In due time, Zolith and Inthakmar married and Inthakmar was named King of the Gods. But Zolith is Queen still, and Ruler of All, the most powerful of all gods. In the centuries since this took place, more and more gods have joined the ranks of the original seven; some of these new gods were former humans called by the gods to join them, and some of these new gods are the offspring of the original gods. Legend says that at some time, Zolith bore a child with a human. This human was the first of the Ita family - the Weaver family, the Rulers of Solasar. They still rule today, and each of the female members of the family retains a bit of Zolith's powers inside her. Over time, the Gods were relied upon less and less to protect and guide the people of Solasar. So the gods, it is said, have all withdrawn back to the Hraswayo, the "Godworld," separate from Solasar. Nevertheless, they are still there, waiting to guide us and protect us - and in some cases, endanger us - if the time ever arises that they are needed again."

Three of the Power Rangers for a crack PR fic with me and a friend.
Top: Lia, Gold Ranger - leader of the team, Lia is a skilled fighter who possesses some interesting abilities over light, which she credits to her alleged ancestor, the goddess Zolith. The daughter of two military members, she’s used to being in command, which makes her a natural leader and a good ranger. She never likes to admit defeat and harbors a secret fear of the dark, but will never let it show. Don’t cross this girl - you’ll regret it.
Middle: Nara, Black Ranger - Nara was the victim of a kidnapping as a child. Though originally declared an unsolvable case, it was later solved and Nara returned to her rightful family - Adam, Beth, Royal and Ben - Nara always still felt a little distant from them. Nara was not an original candidate for the Rangers - instead, she was put under a spell and sent to infiltrate them for the enemy. But Nara broke free of the spell and the Rangers saw her as a valuable part of the team.
Bottom: Ametrine - better known as Royal. Don’t ask about her parents - she’ll just tell you to pick up any newspaper from around the time of her birth. Every newspaper was covering the scandal, after all. Despite feeling like a blot on her father’s seemingly otherwise perfect reputation, Royal was raised in a loving family; since Nara’s kidnapping, Royal has been deeply protective of her little brother, Ben, and it’s this protectiveness that motivates her to pick up a morpher and become a Ranger when the team needs one more member.
All are my OCs. Designed on DollDivine’s X-Girl Creator.

Three of the Dark Rangers for an unnamed crack Power Rangers AU with my friend. All three of these characters are technically Disney Descendants OCs.
Top: Silver Ranger, Lia. I imagine this is a world where more of (spoilers) her grandmother’s involvement with Raknar is known, and this Lia rejected her powers of Zolith and embraced a status as a Dark Ranger. The leader of the team, she is often seen as the most patient, but if you test her patience too far you’ll find that unlike her counterpart, this Lia has no regard for human life.
Middle: Purple Ranger, Bianca. The sinister (and inexplicably female) counterpart of Ben, Bianca is entirely devoted to her girlfriend Lia - the dark one, that is - and is often the only voice of reason in her twin sister’s fractured mindset. Bianca is a fierce fighter and, though a bit less likely to use deadly force, when she decides it’s time to end a fight, she ends it - one way or another, and typically with bloodshed.
Bottom: Grey Ranger, Nara - driven insane by the spell that had taken her over to infiltrate the Rangers, Nara is intense, determined, and bloodthirsty. Will typically go for the kill, and when faced with her counterpart that resolve only worsens, as Nara is deeply envious of her good counterpart’s life.
All are my OCs. Designed on DollDivine’s X-Girl creator.
