Whenever I check and see there is a new chapter of Wu Chang Jie, The Sword Named No Way Out, Qiang Jin Jiu, Jun Yu Ji Fou, or Mistakenly Saving the Villain out, I start vibrating at scary frequencies.

I have never been addicted to anything (I don’t even drink) but I think this is what addiction feels like. Hahaha.

PS I still adore WCJ but haven’t posted much about it because latest chapters have been plot heavy so I love them but don’t have much to say about them (same as when I read the demon lord arc in past life - going “Zixiao stop being a dick (and stuffing your dick) you are gonna regret it and not because future richly deserved hell sentence awaits you” and “Ziheng you are too good for this world pls murder someone thanks” doesn’t take too long. )

PPS the translator for The Wife Is First is back from hiatus. That novel is so relaxing for me because I enjoy it when I read it but when there isn’t a new chapter or something else comes up I totally forget about it. I think there was no new chapter for two months and I went oh well while I ran to MTL eg Mistakenly Saving the Villain despite the translator doing four-five chapters a week. And yet every time I read Wife, I really enjoy it. Maybe it just makes me as chill as the novel itself. (Also, while something like The Golden Stage is a much superior example of arranged marriage turns to love and throne adjacent fights ensue, after reading FPYQ, I appreciate how much worse it could be and what a good job Wife is doing making the main couple so damn likeable.)

PPPS Speaking of Villain, we are at the point Yue Wuhuan transformed into the Phoenix God and I can’t wait for him to hunt down and murder all the horrible people who abused him and others and who set up the rules that allow this. Golden Phoenix Manor, you are going dowwwwwwwn!
