Cabrakan and Zipacna

It's these fuckhead brothers.

Sons of the god Vucub Caquix, these two were among the enemies slain by the Maya Hero twins.

Zipacna, the older of the two, was a brash and arrogant bastard. When forcing a group known as the 400 boys to make him a temple, they tried to kill him by attempting to crush him with a huge stone. To escape, he borrowed underneath, when the stone was lifted he jumped out and ripped them all asunder. Then the twins tricked him by setting a fake crab into a deep tunnel. Wanting to grab the tasty morsel, he went in. But the crab kept being pulled closer by one of the twins, before eventually he was trapped.

With Cabrakan, the mountain crusher, the twins decided poison could work out. First, they played to his arrogance and strength to challenge him to destroy a distant mountain. Dragging the two with him, the twins gathered poisonous plants together the whole time. When Cabrakan grew tired, he demanded food. The twins used the plants along with meat to give him a deadly toxic meal. After devouring the meal, he died and became stone.

That's how their story ended in the Popul Vuh, but in my lore they have more to do. Seeing their potential use in her own schemes, Nexoxcho used her authority as Princesa de Mictlan to drag their souls back to life. Now they serve her, under threat of death.

It’s been a while since i posted something here. I lost my tbol drawing vibes for a while, but i came up with this idea and i just could’ help it! XD.

For some reason, xibalba and zipacna ended up switching bodies, shown by their eye color being switched as well. They had no idea how it happened, but they tried to hide it by acting as the other, which was of course VERY difficult. Mostly because Zipacna (in xibalba’s body) wouldn’t dare get horny with La Muerte (his brother’s wife) but does drool over other pretty women, while Xibalba (in zipacna’s body) doesn’t touch Epona or any other women because he doesn’t want to cheat on his wife. And lots of chaos ensues.

Fear not, they managed to clear the mess up.

And yes, Zipacna thinks Xibalba’s white beard and mustache makes him look old; most people who don’t know them even think xibalba’s the older brother.

Over a dozen new ant species were identified, named and presented this week, many thought so horrifically ugly and terrifying they are largely named after the Mayan death gods. University of Utah entomologist and professor (and BADA$$!) Jack Longino presented his discoveries this week in the journal Zootaxa. The image top left is Eurhopalothrix zipacna, which takes its name from the Ancient Greek prefix eu- (ευ-) meaning good and the verb rhopalizo (´ροπαλιζω) meaning to brandish a club or to beat with a club, due to the club like hairs evident on the heads of the genus. The species name zipacna comes from the Mayan Zipacna, a vicious, crocodile-like demon of Mayan mythology. The ants are found in the mountains of Guatemala and Honduras. Here is a side of Zipacna no now ever knew about(not even me!). Do not underestimate him. When angry, he looks almost like a completely different person. He can turn into a flock of angry crowds, and even control ravens and crows at will, sort of like Vlad in Dracula Untold did with bats. The most scary thing is that he can even control Cursed Beasts, not mentally, but rather his aura scares them into submission and obedience.

Stargate SG-1 - Goa’uld - Zipacna.

Zipacna was an Underlord of Apophis.

When Klorel was placed on Triad to determine priority of the body of Skaa'ra, Zipacna served as his Archon. Zipacna used the opportunity to tag the Tollans ion cannons and later attacked. Only through the help of Lya and SG-1 were the Tollan saved.(SG1: "Pretense")

After the death of Apophis, Zipacna entered the service of Anubis. He extended Osiris the offer to represent Anubis at the High Council of System Lords.

Zipacna himself led an attack on the Tok'ra base on Revanna, searching for the symbiote poison. (SG1: "Summit", "Last Stand")

He may still be alive, but in that case he is no longer a System Lord, as Ba'al was said to be the last of them. .

We have seen Zipacna in the episodes " Pretense", "Summit", and "Last Stand". Zipacna is played by Kevin Durand.

Hi, guys!

You must be wondering why I haven’t caught up with you these days, but I must say, papá discovered I use the lap, and he was not very happy. He has limit my access to the internet since he has seen how there are perverted people who take advantage of it to abuse young girls. That, and someone leaked a photo of papá’s extended family. 

I admit, it looks interesting. I have never met them, I only know that they’re papá and tío Zipacna’s grandfather, uncles and aunts (only two aunts, actually). But they have never talked to me, mamá or Alastor about them, but I don’t understand why. Heck, not even the Candlemaker wants to tell me! He could only tell me that they’re... What did he say...? Drampires, and they’re dangerous creatures. Mamá has been thinking of contacting them, but she told me and Al to keep it a secret; she thinks papá and tío should make amends with them.
